I'm using an Infinix Zero X Neo for about 2 years now, along with a Redmi Note 8 Pro (my primary) and a Vivo X80. Back in August the speaker started to sound crackly and not long after, the fingerprint reader stopped working. The charger also isn't the best: it doesn't quick charge all the way to full like my Xiaomi charger does. Apart from this the SIM tray broke, grammar in XOS is sometimes funny (happens with Vivo too, to be fair), the camera isn't very good (though it's not the worst thing ever), the software has some niggles here and there, etc. The cleanup app is very good though, which I can't say for Xiaomi's fake-ish cleanup app. Infinix, Itel and Tecno are fine but it's like eating at a cheap buffet. That's not a bad thing, but just understand why they're cheaper. To be fair though, I like the Infinix more than the X80 which is far more expensive (though for other reasons). Transsion phones are not just popular in Africa but also in Southeast Asian countries
Transsion should consider bringing its cheap and affordable phones to America also. In America, there are budget stores with names like "99 Cents" and "Dollar Store." Transsion phones would revolutionize America too because not everyone in America is willing to spend on a similar technology phone by brand name companies charging 10X to 20X the costs of Transsion's phone.
US would probably block it like Huawei 😂
The USA will impose tariffs and look for a 3rd country to detain transsion's finance manager
The problem is *NOT* in creating a $10 phone, but workers wanting more than $1 per day of salary.
the us would slap the biggest tariffs on them and make them completely unaffordable, or just ban them outright over "security concerns" whenever the domestic US market cannot compete. it was true for cellular network, for EVs, for social media, and it will be for phones.

But Xiaomi remains my primary phone because it's just so easy to use. It's also the oldest of the three.
