Pro tips included… This was VERY helpful! I removed my transmission following your instructions… it only took me two days! Haha! I’m glad I didn’t remove the exhaust. Pro tip 1: I did, however, have to remove the transmission pan to remove the mount (mine was slightly larger than the one in your video.) I had to put the pan back on to put the jack in place. Pro tip 2: Also, I removed the entire drive shaft, so I could get my head up there to see the mounting bolts on the top.
😅💪💪I glad this video help. You. 2 days 😅😅. But probably not all day long working on it. Don’t forget to replace the transmission filter then. And put the right amount of fluid. Any question leave here I will do my best to help 😀😀😀😀
I’ve rebuilt my 5R55S. How do I align the torque converter to re-install? I marked the last stud and corresponding hole on the flex plate… Do I simply align that stud with its corresponding hole?
Yes. But. Check when you have the transmission housing. Close to the engine to Make-sure Its going in the right direction. Just make sure the torque converter don’t slide out.
Bro i have questions for 5r55s mustang 2008 v6. Previously this car shifting funny. I change fluid and both od and intermediate servo. Now m facing a complete gear lose no d no r but move in d3.d2.d1. And some time move in D.
Did you have to lower the trans to get the servos out? I just changed trans fluid an it doesn't look like u can get servos out before hitting trans tunnel? Thanks!
Back it up. A little bit. Then. Put. One of the holes. Of the flywheel. At 6 a clock. And do the same. With the stud of the torque converter. Both at 6 a clock. Then bring it both together.
what can i do the flywheel don't turn to remove the 4 bolts and the shift is on neutral from under the car 07 mustang and need to remove motor any tips?
Well the only option will be. To lose the transmission. And pull the transmission back. That way the torque converter. Will stay stick to the flywheel. Then you can pull out the engine. And. Then you can figure it out to remove the bolts. Outside. ➡️➡️ let me know if you got another question 😀
Check for transmission leaks. If no leaks. Lift the car. Put some stands. Under. Start the car. But. Make look level front and back. Remove de volt Under the transmission pan. Then should. Start dripping. Fluid. Out. If not. The transmission is bad. Because the pump. Has no pressure. To move the fluid
Hi great video, this is a 4l 6cyl, easier than GT, right? How high did you lift the front? I have 1 2 3 gears but no drive or reverse, what do you think? Mine is a 2010 but looks the same.
Seeing this video because I don’t know if I should get my transmission worked on, or just replace it completely :/. I got the diagnosis and the mechanic said I needed new solenoid blocks, and service, he was charging me 900$ my transmission would slip going into 2nd, or start at second. The car ran fine when I took it to the mechanic, but I used it to get to work, and when I got home I could hear a whining noise, sounds like if I have a supercharger so I don’t know if the transmission is now beyond saving, or if I should take it to the mechanic, thanks! What would you recommended?
@@1Wayfix damn, forgot to memorize the codes, probably nothing much you can help with without them huh? Just stuck on fixing it, or completely replacing the trans
