  • This is the actual MAP that we use for consulting projects when it comes to the question of how to get your company ready for digital transformation. It's all about how you work internally, how you collaborate. This is a simple tool, to analyse your current operations setup and to find out if and what can be changed. We use it in workshops with startups but also for entire projects with large corporate clients.
    Following this matrix, you'll have a straightforward guide to what you need to consider and where to put some effort in order to improve your overall collaboration which will help you to be ready for the big shift that is coming.
    If you’ve any questions or feedback, don't hesitate to contact me via Facebook or by leaving a comment.

    Christoph is an entrepreneur since high school. After graduating from St. Gallen University, he co-founded a mobile phone reCommerce company which grew from 1M to 31M in revenue in less than 5 years. To scale the business, he wouldn’t just add manpower. Instead, he was obsessed with increasing individual productivity through latest online collaboration tools and new work methods.
    This new digital setup triggered many requests from fellow entrepreneurs to support them in building the same environment in their companies. This is how the idea for Blackboat was born. A tech-focused company designed to help leaders increase team efficiency by leveraging cloud tools and fast communication.
    Christoph is also a keynote speaker, and he shares his experiences, thoughts, and ideas about #EndOf90iesIT and #futureofwork via his RUclips channel and Facebook page.

    Very insightful. Love how you move the focus away from "let's get that cool new tool" to a broader perspective involving key areas, that usually make change projects (like changing the way we work) very hard. Great job!

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts on collaboration. In fact, it can only work if the both side of your "beautiful sketch" (it and willingness of bosses) goes in the same direction. If one of them are not totally agree, it is a real difficult challenge.

      +David DA ROCHA thanks for that feedback David. Glad to hear. Yes indeed we have a lot of experience and evidence that only both sides of the map lead to longterm success in collaboration

    Very interesting! If I understand correctly, a collaboration practice for you is about synchronous and asynchronous communication, but I was wondering what's on the Y axis? Is it purely the speed of understanding the message?

    Many interesting things saw in this video!
    P.S. For me, I was wearing headphones, the opening screen on 0:34 was too loud, but everything was great
    P.P.S. In preavious movie you are talk about Office 365 and Google cloud. But What about the comparison Azure and Amazon Dev?

      +Олег Савчук super sorry. I made a mistake with the audio export this time. I promise to fix it next round. There is a new setup coming anyways. Thanks for the feedback. Regarding Azure and Amazon Dev and Google Cloud these need a separate video but def worth it to look into it. Really depends on what you build. With one other company that I'm involved in we use Google Cloud due to performance and simplicity. But I know so many companies Amazon since it's the largest infrastructure wise

    Do you also include assumptions about possible future development ins your map for digital transformation?
    I know many people I wish to work with need their data to be protected within Germany.

    • @christophmagnussen
      @christophmagnussen  7 лет назад

      +Roberto Maddaloni yes indeed. We cover that within the left part "policies" we have internal experts who know what is needed from the technical perspective and and who can also give a recommendation how you should set it up

    Hi Christoph, great video! Can you please have more videos explaining each one of the blocks in detail? I'm specially interested in Policy since I work for a Government Agency in South America and by law all the data has to be stored physically in the country so I'm wondering if it's possible to go for GSuite and have our own servers connected to the services offered by Google? Thanks in advance for helping me to figure this out. Cheers!

      Hi Santiago, due to their distributed setup, Google does not offer country-specific datacenters, but Microsoft does and they have datacenters in South America. Maybe worth a try?

    Hey Christoph, danke für diese mit viel Erfahrung und Gedanken geteilte Matrix zum Thema Zusammenarbeit. Du bereicherst meine eigene Erfahrung damit und bringst die Puzzelteile zusammen. Ich würde mich sehr gerne mal näher mit eurem Modell und den Details auseinander setzen. Gibt es dafür eine Möglichkeit? Ich bin Morgen genau zu dem Thema bei einem meiner Kunden. Kultur, Richtlinien, Sicherheit, Datenschutz, Senior Leadership willingness sind immer ein Thema auch in meinem Angebot für STRATEGIEBERATUNG im Bereich der online Plattform Nutzung. In meinem Fall im Microsoft Umfeld. Es gibt viele Fragen die ich Dir gerne mal stellen würde. Es gibt einige Parallelen zu dem Modell von Dir/Euch die ich sehe, aber auch neues was das Vorgehen betrifft und auch andere Aspekte und Themen die ich selbst behandel. Über jegliches Feedback würde ich mich sehr freuen. Danke. Alex Tihme.

      +alext980169 Hey Alex das freut mich dass es ein hilfreiches Modell ist. Es ist ja völlig unabhängig von Google oder Microsoft was es für das Thema Zusammenarbeit und die besten Tools sehr universell macht. Die Größe des Teams ist immer ein wichtiger Faktor und dann die Frage wie tief man in einzelne Bereiche des Modells einsteigt. Wer sind denn typische Kunden von dir und in welchen Microsoft Bereichen (es gibt ja einige) bist du genau unterwegs?

    • @alext980169
      @alext980169 7 лет назад

      Sehe ich genauso. Die Plattform oder das Tool set ist zunächst nicht das entscheidende. Meine typischen Kunden sind zwischen 500 und 15.000 Mitarbeitern mit Ausnahmen drüber und drunter. Die Branchen variieren produzierende, Pharma, Medizin auch zum Teil öffentliche Träger. Ich bin im Bereich Microsoft Cloud Strategieberatung mit Fokus auf Office 365 aber auch Azure unterwegs und das Thema SharePoint seit 14 Jahren. Aktuell liegt der Schwerpunkt in der Strategieberatung und im speziellen in der Use Case Entwicklung mit Kunden und deren Mitarbeitern und C Level zusammen. Macht riesig Spaß und bringt den Leuten was am Ende des Tages. :-)
