Christoph - It's SUPER important to build virtual leadership skills to adapt to the VUCA that COVID has created. We better get ready for this because research estimates at least 25%-30% of people will work from home multiple days per week by 2021. Thanks for sharing your insight!

I'm literally taking notes while I watch your videos haha .. if it wasn't 1:45AM over here and if I didn't have a project due at 8AM, I would keep watching

Consider email is a stone everyone you work with can give you at any time _they_ feel like and every conversation tends towards being a stream of rocks not a nice organized ala carte
With that in mind , how to effectively bridge the canyon that is Emaildocumentation for teams that lack time or discipline?
In the ideas sense email is fine for the exchange, and clarification, of ideas just like a synchronous in-person conversation.
In the execution sense email&messaging are only asynchronous because your presence isn't required for it to grow out of control.
But what happens is people try to use it _exclusively_ for project-mgmt.
This is a big real world problem; as communication for a project gets longer so does the difficulty of having to extract actionable information free of conversational cruft/signatures/tangents/emojii etc.
Idealistically not a problem if everyone in the chain has the 'discipline' to document as they go , realistically it becomes a burden on 1 persons/side as others view it as something to avoid while at the same time they wonder why they keep experiencing recurring pain as tasks/information/get forgotten.
