During the last weeks I had the chance to talk about my thought why Digital Transformation is important in any business and how to lead it - hands on. Since I’m a big believer in collaboration and faster communication I wanted to record and share my core idea at least one time in English. So here we go, this is one of the keynotes. This was recorded in early November at the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) in Geneva at Julius Bär. I believe that Digital Transformation needs to focus on 1) Business Model, 2) Customer Experience and 3) Operations. My focus is always the operations since making people collaborate and communicate faster is the major source of innovation. It also makes teams super productive. By super productive I mean that we’ve seen companies save up to 4 hours per week and per employee by implementing the right collaboration methods, tools and processes. I had to shorten the content a little bit. So if you want to see the details about Group, Concept and Unplanned Collaboration have a look here ( • Consider this for the ... ) there is a whole video about it.
Have a look and let’s discuss. More usual Work Day and Work Tools videos coming up this week. Thanks for watching.
Oh and if you like: I send a weekly 3x3 briefing to all my contacts. It covers 3 ideas to discuss and think over the weekend in less than 3 minutes. It’s fun and you can drop out any time. Have a look and join the discussion (via christophmagnussen.com).

Christoph is an entrepreneur since high school. After graduating from St. Gallen University, he co-founded a mobile phone reCommerce company which grew from 1M to 31M in revenue in less than 5 years. To scale the business he wouldn’t just add manpower. Instead, he was obsessed with increasing individual productivity through latest online collaboration tools and new work methods.
This new digital setup triggered many requests from fellow entrepreneurs to support them in building the same environment in their companies. This is how the idea for Blackboat was born. A tech focused company designed to help leaders increase team efficiency by leveraging cloud tools and fast communication.
Christoph is also a keynote speaker and he shares his experiences, thoughts and ideas about #EndOf90iesIT and #futureofwork via his RUclips channel and Facebook page.
His team has been involved in projects with clients like Facebook, mymuesli.com, thjnk AG, Nestlé, Microsoft, Google, Service Partner One, Amorelie.de, AboutYou.de, E.ON, Mediakraft et. al.

Great speech, I worked for Nokia and you are absolutely right with some points which have not been seen as relevant. Btw. The 6210 or 6310 you were holding in your hand was not running Symbian. That was S40. Symbian was the other OS running on e.g. N8
