The "cat guy" doesn't break the book in the literal way, the book makes him able to use its claws. I guess the story talks about someone that consume drugs and goes to jail, then, some people hurt the guy. Then, other men, the intelligent ones use the main character to fight some dogs and after that they leave without getting caught, and leave the cat on its luck.

Assuming the rats and dogs are rival gangs I see two options of why the rats waited for a cat. 1. They needed someone to take out the big dog. Clearly the rats dealt with the dog easily but never touched the big one which the cat focused all its attention on 2. They framed the cat. By letting the cat go at a single dog the rats could make it seem like the cat killed all the dogs with equal ferocity while getting themselves out of doge to let the guards find the cat
I always thought that it was prison stereotypes the dogs are the gang / murderers who would beat you up to make them self's look big and gain street cred the rats were the people who could get you things at a cost and the cats were rapists and perverts who never ever did well in prison

I love the gritty textures! it really adds to the background and gives it a nice feel of grunge that gives the prison and the characters a nice feeling of scrappy ally likeness. This video is actually really awesome. At first it was just a good song, but the more I listen and watch the more I notice the story and details. I personally liked the image of the cat sharpening his claws on that book as he was actually taking it in and learning to fight back. Getting his claws back that were taken on the way in. Then that end scene when he tears up realizing what he had become because of what society and prison made him become. That parts almost hard to watch.

So this “cough cough” cat was arrested for illegal drugs for life and he had to get his claws cut so he wouldn’t kill anybody in the prison cell he was sharing with dogs. The dogs beat him up on his first day and the rats saw this. The cat was put into empty cell for the rest of the night he soon went insane and sharpened his claws and the rats agreed to help him. When he got back into the cell he killed the dogs with some help from the rats as I said. He soon looked at the dead body of the dog he killed and started to cry. That’s just me and what I think because of the animation and song.
Cat had street smart but he was a dealer who made friends so no one messed with him and had business partners to protect him, symbolized by his claws. He got declawed because he was the brains of the drug ring not the muscle and he has no friends in jail. The rat gang secretly supports him and he regains his claws through material and reading, the art of war book and the regaining of his claws. Then one day the rats tell the cat it's time to get even and the fight starts. By the time the guards arrive the rats are gone and the cat is left as the fall guy for the entire fight. At the end the cat realizes he's become a killer because he shanked the big dog to death in addition to being the only one to take the consequences. He was just a guy pushing drugs for a little cash, no one was supposed to get hurt and now he's a killer.
@@Carl-ld5jy he looked at his paws then started crying, I think it was a shock reaction of like "wtf I just killed someone with my own paws what have I done"

I dont personally fully understand the messages of alot of rare americans songs, although they are overall very good music, but i will say this I really like how you watch the cat get more feral as they go into prison, possibly because they were originally innocent, or took a fall for something they had no part in, then to be get beaten and bruised from the prison life (unsure if this is meant to be metaphorical or literal, but it can be easily both). Then honing their "claws" to go full animal, as they completely lose themselves to the "prison life" or "madness" for that matter. Goes from a cute cat to feral cat real fast.

I guess the story talks about someone that consume drugs and goes to jail, then, some people hurt the guy. Then, other men, the intelligent ones use the main character to fight some dogs and after that they leave without getting caught, and leave the cat on its luck.

Phoenix same I saw it and I was like “huh, I kinda want to watch this”
Assuming the rats and dogs are rival gangs I see two options of why the rats waited for a cat.
1. They needed someone to take out the big dog. Clearly the rats dealt with the dog easily but never touched the big one which the cat focused all its attention on
2. They framed the cat. By letting the cat go at a single dog the rats could make it seem like the cat killed all the dogs with equal ferocity while getting themselves out of doge to let the guards find the cat

This video is actually really awesome. At first it was just a good song, but the more I listen and watch the more I notice the story and details.
I personally liked the image of the cat sharpening his claws on that book as he was actually taking it in and learning to fight back. Getting his claws back that were taken on the way in.
Then that end scene when he tears up realizing what he had become because of what society and prison made him become.
That parts almost hard to watch.

This band has to be my favorite band as of right now.

So this “cough cough” cat was arrested for illegal drugs for life and he had to get his claws cut so he wouldn’t kill anybody in the prison cell he was sharing with dogs. The dogs beat him up on his first day and the rats saw this. The cat was put into empty cell for the rest of the night he soon went insane and sharpened his claws and the rats agreed to help him. When he got back into the cell he killed the dogs with some help from the rats as I said. He soon looked at the dead body of the dog he killed and started to cry.
That’s just me and what I think because of the animation and song.
Cat had street smart but he was a dealer who made friends so no one messed with him and had business partners to protect him, symbolized by his claws. He got declawed because he was the brains of the drug ring not the muscle and he has no friends in jail. The rat gang secretly supports him and he regains his claws through material and reading, the art of war book and the regaining of his claws. Then one day the rats tell the cat it's time to get even and the fight starts. By the time the guards arrive the rats are gone and the cat is left as the fall guy for the entire fight. At the end the cat realizes he's become a killer because he shanked the big dog to death in addition to being the only one to take the consequences. He was just a guy pushing drugs for a little cash, no one was supposed to get hurt and now he's a killer.

I dont personally fully understand the messages of alot of rare americans songs, although they are overall very good music, but i will say this
I really like how you watch the cat get more feral as they go into prison, possibly because they were originally innocent, or took a fall for something they had no part in, then to be get beaten and bruised from the prison life (unsure if this is meant to be metaphorical or literal, but it can be easily both). Then honing their "claws" to go full animal, as they completely lose themselves to the "prison life" or "madness" for that matter. Goes from a cute cat to feral cat real fast.
