I like to think that the Rythm Kitchen creates personalised plates, tea and flavors based on their visitors' happiest memories, causing them to find everything they eat delicious ("life is delicious"). But once the ingredients have been used to cook the meal, the memories disapear, unless they stay in Rythm Kitchen forever("some come here to remember"), hooked on the flavor of the meals prepared with the best moments of their lives ("this is the best that it gets").
EDIT: To all the people saying it's about drugs, yeah, I know, it's kinda obvious, but I just like to add a bit of fantasy, makes it more fun.

I think it’s really interesting that D Smoke is the only person in the cafe that seemingly isn’t under the effects of the tea, and also the fact that he doesn’t look entirely comfortable with his position.
Might be because he is the cook, he aint using, but he is not "truly" proud of what he is doing

To be honest it seems like Rhythm Kitchen is a place that people go to remember the good times, or run away from the problems they're facing. Either way they're running away in reality, beliving that future doesn't hold anything for them. The kitchen itself might not be bad in itself but people who stay there may forget the lessons from the past, and loose their future.

Well you got to remember that in the song Berlin that they were still in contact but soldiers told Alfred to kill the ocelot but refused so they threatened to kill him if not so he had to do it but ended up killing them and told Berlin to go to the bust station and go far and 40 or more years later while in their 70’s Alfred kept the ocelot as a contact and talked to her on phone.

Okay so, let's talk meaning and shit because symbolism matters.
The way I interpret this is about loosing yourself in something that feels good.
The drugs and the music, the tea and the drums.
You need real inspiration to be a part of that, but it takes all of that just to have a seat at the table.
Who you are slips away amongst the drugs and kickdrums and you get so sucked up in it that you never even think to leave, because it's "good" or "The best" even, no matter what precious thing you lose in the process.
the part that symbolizes the "leaving everything for something that feels good" is the parts where she cuts up the memorys

Dude rhythm kitchen a berlin are an infinite storyline theyre a connected to everything
THEORY: call this a long shot, but at the beginning of berlin, you see three people going through a machine, presumably telling their past or future. there's a brown haired man, the main character in mama bear and possibly rhythm kitchen, alfred, main character in berlin, and a black haired man, resembling the boxer from gas mask. the three's relationship will probably tie up in the next few songs, as in a wide shot of pictures in rhythm kitchen, you see the brown haired man with a childhood pet, and a few other hints to already existing songs or upcoming songs.

Rare Americans has definitely helped me get through some tough times in my life these past couple of years! ( I know it sounds silly, but there's something about this band of that keeps my faith in humanity going. The community is amazing, and they put so much work into their music and animations! )

Without a doubt, something feels malicious about this rhythm kitchen.
Usually I have couple of songs from one band, like I don't listen to somebody just because "it's him so I must listen to this", but "Rare Americans" is the only band that gets me really excited for every new song, not only they are awesome but also have some meaning or story behind them

This band makes the most unique, refreshing, mind-boggeling music I've ever heard. Especially because of their animations and how they connect the characters to the songs in other songs, and it makes a beautiful story. I only found them about 2 years ago, but it feels like in their stuff are already classics and I must say, Rare Americans will always hold a place in my heart.
Edit: Just looked up the lyrics, and they mentioned the song Puff the Dragon, and let me just say, idk why but it genuenly made me fall in love with this song even more.

I was looking thru the comments and couldn’t find a comment that gave an interpretation of the song, so I guess I will take a shot at it. Warning I’m incredibly stupid so take what I say with a grain of salt
So when the protagonist enters the kitchen you you can see everyone is clearly taking the drugs and he calls the mysterious woman a “pretty lady” which I interpret as temptation as I belive the pretty lady is suppost to represent the temptation or the drugs itself, and when our protagonist sits down she offers him a cup of tea with the substance in them saying “take this if you want some fun” and while the protagonist grabs it the chefs come and tell him about how great this place is, which I believe is the people trying to get him to take the drugs via peer pressure and explaining how great these drugs are. I believe the chorus is also important because of the line “some people come to forget” which in some cases can be a reason people get addicted to drugs/alcohol. Side note: where the mysterious lady who represents the drugs cuts up photos, I presume it is supposed to represent memory loss as a side effect of taking the drugs. Now skipping some lines I can’t add here we move on to the part where the protagonist actually drinks the tea, where you can see he is visibly happier and more relaxed, to which the mysterious lady who represents the drugs guides him to the stage, to where he preaches the chorus to others about how great these drugs are and how it’s “good living” and finally the line “said I gotta let go of ya want to be free” I believe is supposed to represent him letting go of his ideas on how bad drugs are for his health and his actions and while letting go spreads the drugs to others, while morbid I feel this is accurate as this leads directly to him singing the chorus.
This was just my idea however I could be waaaay off but I let me know what you guys think!

ok so the donkey man (mascot of rare Americans) has a bottle of wine instead of that tea here 2:00 so i think the tea makes people forget or is hella drugged and the mascot knows it

Sorry, I’m joking. This was a super neat video, and I like that the colors for the eyes and trippier scenes aren’t as neon, it’s less straining on the eyes. It’s just a nice choice that I appreciate, and gives off as much comfort and chill vibes as it does trippy vibes.

Mama bear kid, baggage boyfriend, and this white boy who sings are all the same person, brittle bones Nicky brittle bones Nicky 2, gasmask, and Berlin all feature brittle bones Nicky, Berlin is a story of alfreds grandpa getting with alfreds girlfriends grandma but they’re forced apart just like years later Alfred is forced apart with the descendent of his gramps girlfriend (they aren’t related both of them must have found a new partner to spread their lineage after getting split up by the Berlin Wall of the Nazi socialist party which alfreds great grandpa was a part of with the cheetah being a Jew he was saving and in love with),Brittle bones Nicky appears in Berlin to give him the passport before he gets beat up as he often appears to help when people have all the cards stacked against them just like he had them through his life while he was alive, and he helps them but still allows them to suffer that bad bc it will ultimately be better for them, something he even does to himself as his spirit can travel through time and space so he watches even his own life as he gets fd over bc he understands sometimes that’s necessary for the only good situation to happen (if alfreds grandpa didn’t get caught with a passport he would have lied and they would have killed him and her but instead brittle bones essentially puts him in a situation where he’ll get fucked over into submission bc that’s the only way fate could have happened where they both live allowing Alfred and the cheetah girl to meet up way later on in present day, just like how he watches his own life with all the fd up shit that happened and laughs at himself bc he knows all these fuck ups led to an amazing story, life, and person and was the only way it could have happened which would have led to him to be the only one to trick both god and the devil)(Brittle bones Nicky 2 for reference) Brittle bones Nicky also shows up in gasmask to help the boxer up after he got drugged up after losing the fight of his life probably recruiting him and the rest of these misfits with fucked up “perfect” lives as like everything that happened he watched and allowed and sometimes influences to make the best people possibly which yeah you gotta suffer and learn a bit and harden a bit yk like he says at the end of BBN2 “I ruffle feathers, fuck with folks but you know me, I’m a good blowk” or however you spell that Canadian shit (blow-kh) he lets people fuck themselves over so they can overcome it yk, he’s the bad that’s good for you like getting bullied when you’re a kid so you become a famous muscle man when you grow up using the bullying as motivation type shit yk.
So in recap brittle bones Nicky is a spirit of a boy who accepted the cards dealt to him as they made him a better person through overcoming suffering, so now he makes other suffer for the best sake of them and teaches them to deal with the cards dealt to them or yk forces them in the case of Berlin so Alfred could be born and meet his gf in the present.
White boy is a well white boy nothing special yet his girlfriend cheated on him shown in b.a.g.g.a.g.e and this kinda implies he may have cheated on his new girl with blue hair with this girl in this video I’ll call lily bc the whole she looked like a lily in the sun, when he said I drank that teaaaa it seems like that was him forgetting his past, letting go if he wants to be free, and effectively forgetting about her and choosing the rhythm kitchen as she cuts up his past. Also the Mama Bear video is why the bears with two kids popped up in the hallucination multi picture.
Alfred is the grandson of the horse from Berlin and the cheetah he gets with is the granddaughter of the cheetah from Berlin. Alfred can view multiple points in time with his machine and he shows up in different places such as in guns, knives, and beds he leads the rebels.
Gasmask guy, d smoke, Lily, all seem to have no direct connection to any of the lore YET except the gasmask guy did seemingly get recruited or atleast meet brittle bones Nicky. Add more info if you see this and I missed something but make sure it has something to do that fills the lore not just plot points in videos I didn’t bring up that have no connection to anything yk.
Oh man so much to unpack! So this mysterious tea lady makes tea from your best and worst memories. The whole time I'm wondering if she's good or bad.

This song hit me like a freight train, it made me realise that the girl I liked, I was genuinely in love with, we started texting and talking, and I kept thinking about her (not in a creepy way) , I tried to approach her, and about 4 ish days into getting to know each other, she comes to me and confesses that she likes a boy
That wasn’t me, he looked exactly like me but she was meeting with him in the meantime, saying that when they meet she “feels a spark” and it’s “really romantic”. she asked me for help and I just kind of reverted into my shell, cutting myself off from other people and just becoming even more introverted, and damn, this song and me finding out another person, my now best friend who dragged me out of said shell liked it too, saved me from that sadness
That friend was diagnosed with depression on Wednesday last week and I don’t know how to help him, I’ve just come back to my shell and this video, he’s kinda ghosted me and his girlfriend broke up with him because of him being really sad, and saying she can’t deal with it
