Brandon was made to take over the role of Christopher's superman in my honest opinion. He embodies everything that Christopher brought to the role and I loved that line "this is the 2nd time I've gone nuts and fought myself" epic callback to superman 3
@@birdquest8695 I think if I remember right it was said to be set after number 2 so if that's right then the events of 3 and 4 had not happened yet. In crisis for him to reference it makes me think those events happened after returns.
@@SuperSonicWarrior93 they did that in the name of promoting their bullshit social justice and feminist cause. Woke Hollywood loves to elevate women by destroying men, especially if they are cultural symbols. What better way to illustrate that belief than by having the most beloved Batman of them all, being killed by his inferior female replacement?
I liked Brandon's Superman, ok? I really did. But Christopher Reeve was my Superman growing up, and it's just such a goddamn shame his accident happened and eventually caused his death so he could never play Superman again. I miss him a lot. If I had a time machine, I'd stop him from getting on his horse that day.
WB really did both Brandon & Henry dirty with Superman bruh, I don't understand why they always butcher the modern superman. Let them have their trilogy in peace first before pulling other heroes in.
I’m not gonna lie.. this is actually terrible. Feels almost like Power Rangers bad (even though that has a quality about it which makes you love it also… and this does too). But yeah this is just awful. It’s partly Brandon’s fault too. He should’ve had a clause in his contract that he had a right to refuse in it. They did not treat him like he actually once was the Theatrical feature length film Superman. This is some really cheap stuff
Time to bring Brandon Routh back as Superman. He's the real deal.
EXACTLY 👍.!
We need at least one more Brandon Routh Superman film. He still looks good and deserves another shot.
It would be marvelous
We got robbed of Brandon Routh as Superman. This is only a glimpse of how great he could have been.
This version of Brandon Routh's Superman would've beaten the s**t out of Kevin Spacey's Lex Luthor

But doesn't Superman Returns only acknowledge Superman I & II as part of its continuity? The reference doesn't make sense.

the most underrated character, Brandon Routh, he was the perfect superman..
I will never forgive the CW for wasting Routh's Superman like they did in Crisis....
Also Kevin conroy’s batman
Agreed
the CW writing is god awful
@@thebattleshell Whoever wrote that episode, with the amount of disrespect towards Kevin Conroy's Batman, they should be ashamed of themselves.

I wish they'd spent more than a $1.87 on special effects
😂 not $1.87 I'm crying
Someone lied to you man, it was actually $2.87
@@tanuow $2.88. get your facts right.
@@magentapurpleyap5566 my bad
@@tanuow that's okay.
Routh is great as superman i wish they would recast him in his own movie
They did. It's called superman returns
Routh is wearing the 1996 Kingdom Come Superman costume.
His "Second time I've gone nuts and fought myself" proves he is Kingdom Come Superman, as he directly refers to Superman 3.
Superman really needed this in Superman Returns
Yes
As a fan of superman and his was mine growing up.. this was everything to me 💙
0:55 The original Superman theme, this gave me chills
it feels like there is a cool and good show, happening somewhere off screen
it´s amazing how this shit´s writing is so awful yet Brandon shines so much as the character

Pretty sure the horse was a gift from Warner Brothers because he didn't want to join the evil elites
He totally stole the show as Superman!! his presence and charisma is amazing!
Still my favorite Superman. 🫶🏾
Same here
Thank you for being my Superman as a kid Brandon.
Hermoso ver a routh como Superman de nuevo es como ver la reencarnación de reeve transmite casi la misma energía
Thats the most money CW ever spent on a costume
La verdad el traje tiene calidad de película
The fight would have been over in like 30 seconds if one of them had just said MMMMARRRRRTHHHAAAAAAA
Kryptonian Physiology:
1. Super Speed - 0:21
2. Super Strength - 0:30
3. Flight - 0:47
4. Expert Combatant - 0:51
5. Heat Vision - 1:45
6. Nigh-Invulnerability - 2:36
Why didnt know about this? And why did they do this to Superman Brandon Routh.. 😔
The real Superman vs someone dressed up as Superman

1:10 😵😵
of course they put this shit in fucking batwoman smh
Is Superman (Brandon Routh) the same one who appears in Superman Returns?
Yes
You couldn’t have dyed his hair?! Jeez…
They did. This character is in his 70's. He should show some age.
He & Christopher Reeve are in my opinion the best Superman, Henry Cavill is in my opinion the worst Superman.
Beyond awful
