It does sound quite a bit like Bon Jovi's "Wild In The Streets", probably because of three things: The songs are in the same key (at least the verses - the chorus is different), the lead singer sounds a lot like Jon Bon Jovi (personal opinion), and the production sound and quality (the "feel" of the song) are very similar as well. Another band that sadly didn't get the exposure it should have - thank goodness for RUclips. Thanks for sharing!
Spot on!! I find their production style similar to Danger Danger's self titled albums. Background vocals are similar. I like it though. A shame I never heard it back in the day. I will enjoy it now. :)

God damn,I remember so good the time when I couldn't wait to get my driving license to ride my firebird and to listen to this song. It was a wonderful summer. So much great memories, when I hit the gas so many nights to get to all those parties while listening to those bands of the 80's. Specially Blue Tears. That's been two years ago and I can't wait for summer 2012!
Hey me too! Once at Lloyd Auditorium as "Sahara" and then at the movie theater in Jackson just before the CD hit. I remember Julie Beard from WYNU played keyboards that night. sigh...I miss those days!
Don't remember ever seeing this Video when it came out...No big surprise, but when i started researching my beloved Hair Band genre, when it became much easier to do so...Thanks to the World Wide Web...Blue Tears were one of the many bands I came across....Simply put...They are in my TOP 10 ALL-TIME Hair Metal Bands I never knew Back in the Day.... They'd probably have at least 3-5 songs in my Top 1000 Hair Metal Songs of All-Time...YES!!! OF ALL-TIME....Do your self a favour and check out their "Mad, Bad and Dangerous"

C. Smith hm... I’m not sure. I have the CD here someplace, I’ll look it up. At present the name that keeps popping into my head is Charlie Lauderdale, but I don’t know if that’s right. It’s late so I’ll look it up a bit later.

I love Blue Tears but hey, they do sound like a mix of Def Leppard and Bon Jovi, and I love it. Wonder what they would have sounded like if the above mentioned bands never existed. One of my all time favorite albums. R.I.P Gregg. Rockin with the Angels now :)
I love this. This is shot in my home town. Greg is a friend of the family. I some how got in this video by just being in the right place at the right time. I'm the blonde dude 1:57 into the video.

Do you know the bass player's name? He was also the one in the blue jean jacket that pushed the other guy away.
Rodolfo M this would be more hair metal, although the latest term is melodic rock.
