- I didn’t want to buy this… for my Xbox! The NEW Xbox Series Elite 2 Core Controller is pretty cool! However, I am not too impressed by Microsoft not including the rear paddles! I bought the Xbox Elite Series 2 - Complete Component Pack that includes a bunch on Xbox Accessories for your Xbox Controller!

The one you got is the Elite Series 2 Core edition. Keyword Core because its the core controller without the extra bits. Good for people wanting the nicer feeling controller in the hands with the extra functionality of the trigger locks and cheaper for that smaller amount of accessories too.

130$ for a "core" version is insane.
180$ for a controller is literally half the price of the console, if you deduct the 80$ controller
Like everyone else is saying: The "Core" edition purposely doesnt come with the extras to make it cheaper. They are meant to be used as a replacement controller if your elie series controller breaks or if you are just looking for a basic xbox controller with a more premium feel. The normal Series 2 controller comes with all the accessories.
Or if you want different coloured accessories. So you can get red accessories for a white controller
So basically you bought a core version that comes with nothing to complain about not having anything on TikTok and RUclips great stuff

I got the elite series 2 and came with the case thats why i was so confused why he didn't have anything... Love my controller but stick drift and the bumpers going making me question my descisons

The "Core" version is cheaper as it doesn't come with the paddles. You bought the wrong one..
My point is it should come with the paddles as it is a core feature of buying that type of controller. All the other stuff doesn’t matter.
@@BenRowlands noup, it should not come with paddles, or battery, or case, thats why it is cheaper. What you want is called an Elite Series 2, that comes with all the stuff.

just saying if your glasses prescription is that strong and your eyes aren't naturally small you wanna get glasses that have smaller frames so the magnifying effect is less noticeable

You bought the core edition which is cheaper than the black one because it doesn’t come with the stuff but the black one comes with the stuff for higher price. If you buy the white one and all the accessories it should be the same price or around the same price as the black one.

I’m honestly fine without the paddles, but if it didn’t come with a stick sensitivity tool or any backup thumb sticks I’d understand, most of the time when I play games I end up accidentally hitting the paddles while just slightly gripping the controller. It gives an extra controller to people that may have the first one or can be an alternative for others that don’t want all the accessory things and just the basic stuff
To be honest the extras do come in handy, another cable is always handy and another one of those joy stick adjustment pieces is nice so if you lose it you have a secobd
you still get different trigger modes button customisation different controller profiles and still you can use the back buttons
Just buy the full kit. It was cheaper to get the remote with ALL accessories, rather than just the core, and then the accessories. That's what I did, and I love the setup. Still not sure how i wanna map my profiles, yet. Thinking on using paddles for trigger fire, just to see if it helps my aim, and firing rate.
The controller itself just looks so nice though 🥵😩
It's good if you already have the stuff from your old broken controller, cuz your RB will break and of course the dreaded stick drift too.

You could set keybinds to them I believe, so you can set the X button to the paddle and make it a reload button

In apex you can bind them to jump and heal and slide and abilitys and stuff
Not sure if you know this but there's a much easier way to beat the wind temple if you wait for it to launch spikes at you you can dive into its weakspot and it should be a one hit on the spot

The $130 price tag is because of all the stuff you can do with it like you can change the color of the Xbox logo, remap buttons, trigger stops, and overall a good controller

That’s because the other things aren’t really needed. I had charging issues using that wireless dock. Didn’t charge properly or it moved. The paddles are uncomfortable.
I already have kontrol kreek extenders with rings.

Mate it is a cheaper alternative compared to the original black elite 2 controller. The black controller cost 180$, so it would be stupid if Microsoft sold a controller 30 $ cheaper, with the same accessories. Especially if you count in inflation.

@@R3AL-AIMdoesn’t come with the extra bits because it’s cheaper and it’s called a “core” controller for a reason, it’s not the regular controller, it’s a budget option that comes with all the new features and high grade material without the extra bits, it’s for people that want the new buttons and such without spending as much money, you can just buy the shit separately.
It seems to me like customizing it might be cheaper as I just made one and it costs $176 (and it comes with the rear paddles) compared to the $185 that you spent.

The white core controller was and is advertised as just the controller. With No accessories including paddles. The black controller comes with all the accessories that is why it is more expensive. The black one is less than the core and accessories combined. So I would get the black one.
The black series 2 controller was available before the white core by several years so it set the bar for price.
I actually like the core because when you buy it the sticks arent pressed by the carrying case
It ends up being the same price if you buy a regular elite controller or the core then buy the case. But now you get an extra cable and an extra thumbstick adjuster. It's almost a better deal to buy the core

The only 2 differences between the two elite series 2 controller is the elite series 2 has all the stuff, but the elite series 2 CORE is white and only has the controller
Its on sale rn for 88 plus 55 for extra accessories thats like 143 so for the original price 180 you still save some money

The Source ( Radio Shack in Canada ) has reported that they almost got asany returned as they have sold due to massive drifting issues. Micro$oft really need to switch to Hall sensors or develope a controller similar to Sonys elite controller…so that you can switch out the joystick.

I bought the original Elite in 2015 with the Xbox bundle. It probably has like 24 hours of use on it. Kind of crazy seeing them sell for $230+ online.
When I bought the elite controller when it came out (it didn't last a month) it came with everything so I was pretty surprised hearing this
