Unfortunately nothing will substantially change for the better since COD has reached the final circle of games that are too big to die. This includes Madden and other franchises where the majority of players are casual players that dont follow game news and blindly buy everything year after year since its the only game they play. Activision can shit in the mouths of its playerbase and a large percentage will always be there to eat it up and ask to pay for more. I skipped COD this year and it has been so refreshing to play other games that dont stress me out or gaslight me into thinking im crazy or ask me to open my wallet every 5 minutes. It feels like I got out of an abusive relationship lol. I just had to come to grips that this series is no longer the same one that got me hooked 15 years ago and that Im no longer the target market. Luckily the gaming landscape has expanded over the years and I am getting to experience other games that treat me with more respect for my money.

"no problem with" is exactly what you should have a problem is, its NOT necessary at all, its only done cause the audience is dumb enough to keep allowing, they can fund the game and longevity without it completely, multi billion dollar company doesn't need any mtx in it this only changes when the audience stops consuming, stop being sheep, you have power to say no, other shooters exist stop buying, stop playing, let it die and play the plethora of others that exist
This literally happens with every game anymore. Some of the biggest games of this year have tanked in player count. People just get their fill and move on to the next thing...
Not like this man. It’s like 3 months since the game released and already about 45% of its player base has stopped playing the game that’s not normal. If it was maybe 15%-20% sure that happens with every game but you don’t lose nearly 45% of your player base in 3 months of its release
@RickyTempletonBsbl what do you mean not like this, look at Blackmyth Wukong, and Elden ring. All these major games have plummeted to like 10 or 15% of what their population was at launch...
@@mysticz9046 10%-15% is perfectly fine. Plus they are single player games. Cod is a multiplayer online game who lost 45% how do you not see the big deal of that

Over the years Activision has unquestionably got complacent, and they care more about touting metrics and analytics. People are tired of nefarious algorithmic matchmaking patents, which are designed to manipulate your game experiences. Packet Burst coupled with horrible desync issues has become intolerable
They will never listen ink. As a veteran of the United States Army. I have a very good understanding of bo6. I used to enjoy playing Call of Duty. At this point, I have decided not to play like I had been playing. Thank you for the video. I understand your frustration. They won't fix things until everyone stops playing it for a month or so.
The real problem with Call of Duty as of late is people now have full time jobs streaming video games so people are literally picking things apart in ways it has never been. Most problems streamers have issues that most people in general don’t have. Also people on the internet now have different ways to voice opinions and that can sway people from buying or supporting something they once would. Also people cheating in game drives others away. We honestly can’t blame COD for others ruining experiences for another. The one thing they need to do is make sure their product is complete before releasing it, we shouldn’t have to wait 6 months to get a fully established product
@ I think we’ve all ran into a cheater… but knowing what’s AI, stats on sbmm or even knowledge of sbmm comes from streamers. A lot of the things that are complained about outside of the shit show they give us is found from streamers and data miners.
This is why I only play the campaign, but now I understand why they will never release it separately for people who only play the campaign, which is probably a small percentage.
Insanity is doing something over and over again and expecting a different result. Call of duty the past few years has rapidly declined in terms of quality. But expecting this to reverse at this point is just insane.
btw the steam playerbase is the smallest playerbase even on PC. COD is the most played game on consoles recently. So their numbers are still good and things will never get better as long as this is the case. I won't see any change coming until their pockets start being affected and I don't see that happening anytime soon.
@ I could care less I wanna see COD struggle if anything so it can actually improve but it’s factual statements what I’m saying lol steam is the smallest playerbase and on top of that it genuinely came out that on xbox and PS5 COD has been the most played game recently. Not an opinion an actual statistic
@kevinsexton7561 There are not that many good casual games on console. I bought bo6 aswell and got my money worth but this game is still nothing compared to bo2.
You missed them saying our XP tokens wouldn't carry over. Then they accidentally gave them to us then took them away until we threw a fit then they gaslit us again saying they were causing game stability issues when absolutely nobody encounter these "issues"
Publishers destroying games seems to be a very popular these these days. I won't name names because I'm not trying to fight with anyone. If were fighting then the publishers win. If we support each other over our differences, WE WIN.
Game pass is a factor for player numbers. Higher at launch (try it out with their subscription) then fall off after a little while (tried it and didn’t want to keep playing because they don’t like it and haven’t bought it). Is that a good thing or bad thing, depends how you look at it. But it’s just a factor IMO
I got to be honest the only reason why i stopped playing wasn't because of the skins (because i only play zombies) but because the update size was too big so i had to delete it...not a shocker right there
Just analyzing the steam charts, even this dip in player numbers is normal. It's simply just the initial launch hype, people are excited to try out the new guns, perks, maps... eventually those "casual gamers" will switch to other games (ie: other new games out right now like Poe2, Delta Force, Marvel Rivals). Most people don't stick to 1 single game and purely play that for the entire year, gamers will switch games, hop around, and just have fun. This dip in COD's player numbers is normal, even looking at the steam charts for MW2 and MW3's launch its the exact same. The average player numbers throughout the year for MW2/MW3 after the launch was around 60k-70k players... thats what we're seeing with BO6.
Agree with this completely. I myself played the initial hype, played a lot of zombies and even tried out the new dlc map. But now rivals has got my attention. Most people aren't interested in camo grinding or 100%ing a call of duty game which can explain the drop in players
Great video! Big thanks for all the effort you put into crafting this-it really shows, and it’s spot-on. I’m a huge fan of this game too, but let’s be real, it’s been tough to hop on just for fun without running into frustrations. Here’s hoping Activision and Microsoft Games take note of the solid feedback you and others are sharing, backed by real data. As an older gamer, it feels like this comes down to basic customer service-and at times, it skirts the line of releasing a product that’s not ready, which isn’t a great look. Either way, your work here is top-tier. Thanks for putting it out there! GG’s and keep it up!
$70 minimum for the game, battle pass, black cell, premium event, bundles, and a $20 audio pack! Call of Duty- players don’t put away your wallets just yet there’s something here I’d like all of you to purchase…
Totally agree with you Ink! I've been playing CoD for 17 years now, but this is going to be my last one. Not because I quit gaming, on the contrary, but I am fed up with everything you just mentioned. Overpriced, poor content, horrible servers/connection, hit markers, SBMM, instant spawn tubes on HC S&D, disbanding lobbies, matchmaking in general, people backing out and so much more... I'm going to look out for a different game with my clan.
activision is the most corporate company in gaming. they don't want gamers complaining about this stuff. they want people like my roommates that are bad and could not care less about sbmm or tick rate. they've spent $60 each on cosmetics in the game and that's the intended audience
i dont think anyone really cares what activision is doing.. If you look at metrics from other call of duties, the same fucking thing happens where after about a month or two after launch, they lose 30-40% of the player count where the other 60-70% of the core players stick around. I think both you and Niro make videos basically crying to your community because they're the only people who will agree with you.
I was wondering if anyone is also experiencing this, pretty often when i load up bo6 my first match is super laggy and it gets worse from there until i restart my xbox and open the game again. So now everytime i get on i basically have to open bo6 load into a match then restart my xbox so i can play without lagg. This only happens with bo6.
Game damn near unplayable & i cnt even talk to my teammates in game chat without getting banned & there's manyyyyyyy more problems 🤔 overall the game is a pile of hot steaming garbage.
I realized last night that find a party was removed from Warzone, and I got in a match with randoms with no mics that landed wherever they wanted. Just a bad experience overall. And prior, in multiplayer, I kept noticing my shots were hitting but not doing anything, sometimes they would and sometimes they wouldn’t. So I stopped playing multiplayer as well. Zombies was fun, but that grind became repetitive.
You hit the nail on the head, and the problem is CoD wants to make money, but it's helps to listen every once in a while to the players on what we're having problems with. Some of this really, really needs to be addressed and fixed. Otherwise they will lose all of us because it's just too much to deal with.
Everyone I actually know that has played the game likes it. I literally only hear negative things about it when I come online. I think the key here is to just enjoy what you enjoy and stop watching stupid non entertaining RUclips videos like this.
Same here. The SBMM isn't that big a deal to me, and it's not just farming me wins, either. I'm not the best at these kinds of games but still enjoy them. But logging in to play several lobbies in a row and constantly getting wiped gets old quick. However, the cheating issues are there. Not as bad while the game is still new. I don't like the monetization practices, though. The special blueprints with stats beyond what base game can give is quite annoying.
I've spent half my hours on the game trying to fix the packet burst and hit detection issues. I still haven't found a fix. I literally get seen and shot at multiple seconds before they appear on my screen. Ive never really been mad at a game developer before, but its kind of hard when you get on to see if they fixed the issues and instead see AI slop and three new thirty dollar bundles.
Hey ink, why not make a video where you describe your personal CoD? What would YOU build when given the money and devs? How what that look like? I would love to see every detail explained :)
I quit playing cod after playing it for my entire life around the time MW2019s life cycle was ending. Glad to see I made the right decision as they haven't done a single good thing with any of their games since.
It's not just that, the grind is just ridiculous. I'm master prestige 169 - all cammos unlocked - all zombies easter eggs completed. Am i really supposed to get 800 more levels for my next acheivement? Really? Cos not one normal gamer will be getting to level 1000 this year.
It seems like many players are losing patience with SBMM and EOMM. When you add in frustrating map designs, hacking issues, hit registration problems, and the emphasis on microtransactions, it just makes the experience even worse. It's becoming increasingly difficult to enjoy the game! I quit one month ago, and don’t miss it at all.
Business inflate their company's value before asset acquisition by another company, then the company that buys the asset tends to see the actual financial situation of the company, so they rectify the cost structure of the businesses through layoffs/price increase/ quality degradetion over time.
The game isn’t as bad as people make it out to be but it definitely has some big, glaring problems. I think we all came in with our expectations way too high
Hey Inkslasher, I hope you’re doing okay right now on the channel and personally. Been watching you since bo3 and now I’m about to graduate college and enter dental school. Just recently got back into your videos and I want to see you to continue to “succeed”

11:55 I actually watched Squid Games last night for the first time just because of the upcoming COD event (advertising). I thought what the hell. I watched the first two episodes and it was a dissapointment. I don't understand the hype. It was boring.
Am I Dreaming? A big time streamer for COD finally saying this? Literally Nero Cinama, Scat Master Folly and Blame Truth have been saying this since 2019. You watched one of there videos huh?
It’s not that it’s a bad game but the decision they are making with this game. It will always have people playing it but it’s slowly dying for true COD players
Let's see 🤔 cheater, laggy servers, sweaty matches if you are a good player, the amount of pay bundles that are insane for skins, the maps that are warzone base in mp are bad, not gonna lie I do like BO6 but way to many issues and lies people are dropping.
I worked very hard to get prestige master in a race with my friends and the only reason I won was because they each gradually gave up on the game. So when I got to prestige master, I saw the crud COD was doing and thought ‘why did I waste my time and passion on this game when they killed it already?’ And it upsets me a lot.
@@TrickyDrip they are maybe 5% of the problem, ai, servers, eomm, anticheat, and bundles has nothing to do with treyarch, if u expect game devs to also be networking engineers and software security specialists then ur delusional.
Remember when cod ghost multiplayer maps, doors were interact-able? Metal doors, huge metal doors, wooden doors, warehouse doors intractable. BO3/BO4 running on walls was, and is still the best game feature for BO games. WW/BO3 able to customize weapons in zombies instability when playing zombies? I don’t see why they changed that since then. Why re-grind a cod game again and again. Plus, purchased/grinded content in a previous game is never transferred over into the new game.
COD feels the same since mw19 and they add old game modes and say it's a "new mode". The new movement is fun in bo6 but I don't use as often. Even with event is just boring asf and its always xp base. I hate that we have to wait like couple of months just to get like a minute of cutscene that barely moves the story as a whole.

COD games can’t be good because then people won’t buy the next one, COD games can either have a hyped up launch and turn crap after everyone buys it like MWII and supposedly this game, Or they can launch a game no one cares about but end up turning good so people buy them later and then have hope in the next game so they buy it like mwIII The last time there was a ‘good’ cod was mw2019 where people were hyped for its launch and loved it through its life span, this caused issues because many people did not want to buy the next cod game because the game they had was good

Im not convinced they don't expect huge player drop off. The people buying skins will keep them happy at Microsoft enough so they don't change a single thing
Ai has been used since launch for bo6. The descriptions for the prestige items are just clearly not written by a person with how much they shove down the words "Iconic" and "nostalgic" down your throat, its like they told an AI "Write a description for the 'Teddy is a liar' blueprint that is based of world ar war to make people nostalgic"
I am what is called a "casual" gamer 43 years old with a full time job and family, i have very little time to play and maybe play a couple of hours every 3 or 4 days, i can take the crappy skins (Buy if you want) and the seasons etc.. hell even the SBMM but its the crappy servers and connections that year on year get worse is what puts me off. I have a good internet connection and there are many games that you are instantly killed or lose all of the 50/50 battles. This is what puts me off playing. The last good COD game was MW in 2020 still very playable today. Its been downhill since and its not going to get better until players stop buying the product its that simple.
Packet burst issues have been a huge issue since the latest MW2 came out. I never had server issues in MW2019. MW2 is when all the problems started. I'll say it again, ever since the whole "2.0" ordeal started, the game overall has gone downhill in damn near every aspect. Whatever they did, they should just delete everything after MW2019. They should have taken MW2019 and built upon it.

@@itsbeyxnd Yeah, I really hated how slow it could be. But I hate seeing some guy slide-360 lmg at 80mph while shrugging off a shotgun to the chest a lot more.

We are in a dark age right now in cod we need to have a big game like mw2019 to change cod
MW2019 was so polished, we didn't know what we had until it was too late. Sad that no CoD since has been baked in the oven long enough...
Ong i am playing mw2019 still@@IncredibleFlyinSquid
I'm starting to think the Black Ops 6 tagline "The Truth Lies" refers to Activision in general.
They tried to tell us from the beginning of the game the more I think about it
Maybe they should get rid of sbmm, eomm, ai, skill based damage, shit anticheat, and the terrible maps people might buy your game

"no problem with" is exactly what you should have a problem is, its NOT necessary at all, its only done cause the audience is dumb enough to keep allowing, they can fund the game and longevity without it completely, multi billion dollar company doesn't need any mtx in it
this only changes when the audience stops consuming, stop being sheep, you have power to say no, other shooters exist stop buying, stop playing, let it die and play the plethora of others that exist
Cod is a multiplayer online game who lost 45% how do you not see the big deal of that
@@RickyTempletonBsbl Because games don't sustain population anymore. Once people get their fill they were on to the next thing. I already said this...

If this is their "downfall," then honestly, they deserve it and more. I used to have a lot of hope for COD. That ended during MWII.
Over the years Activision has unquestionably got complacent, and they care more about touting metrics and analytics. People are tired of nefarious algorithmic matchmaking patents, which are designed to manipulate your game experiences. Packet Burst coupled with horrible desync issues has become intolerable
It's call of duty, if it *can* get worse it *will* get worse.
This game is only a few months old and it’s already become the biggest gaming drama in history
Thank you for your service!
Thats hilarious
Im a brigadier general of the butterfly brigade. A verteran of the original Call of Duty . Ur comment makes no sense bro.
What does you having to be in an army have anything to do with a game that has a lot of bugs and poor AI??!
This is bait ☝🏾
Stop buying it. Im happy the community stops playing it at least.
Streamers are all cheaters, they killed call of duty
Nah I encounter these issues and i barely play, so just nah.
@ I think we’ve all ran into a cheater… but knowing what’s AI, stats on sbmm or even knowledge of sbmm comes from streamers. A lot of the things that are complained about outside of the shit show they give us is found from streamers and data miners.

I won't see any change coming until their pockets start being affected and I don't see that happening anytime soon.
all the YN’s on their ps5 and children on xbox are keeping this abusive relationship alive 💔
Keep telling yourself that 😂
@ I could care less I wanna see COD struggle if anything so it can actually improve but it’s factual statements what I’m saying lol steam is the smallest playerbase and on top of that it genuinely came out that on xbox and PS5 COD has been the most played game recently. Not an opinion an actual statistic
@kevinsexton7561 There are not that many good casual games on console. I bought bo6 aswell and got my money worth but this game is still nothing compared to bo2.

@ElementBruv LOL. Doesn't matter. I quit CoD last May because I'm very aware.
My biggest continual problem I find is either it takes 10 hits to kill or if I do good for a round I’ll be punished over the next two to three games
The biggest issue the servers are complete garbage Juice
Very solid video with a comprehensive breakdown!! Great work!!
I gave all my money to DMZ bundles. Now I’m homeless. Damn you activision!
But you do have the unicorn fart tracer pack be grateful
DMZ was the last good CoD offering
This is why I've stopped buying stuff as it's a waste of money when you lose them all.

@that-one.cod_player115 My dad always said that the day you die is when people will stop talking about you son…
It’s so bad with cheaters and glitchy gameplay to where I turn the game off after 40 minutes.
activision is the most corporate company in gaming. they don't want gamers complaining about this stuff. they want people like my roommates that are bad and could not care less about sbmm or tick rate. they've spent $60 each on cosmetics in the game and that's the intended audience
i dont think anyone really cares what activision is doing..
I play on Xbox Series S and I don't have any problems
honestly im going to delete warzone i need the extra space anyways
RUclipsrs are sucking the fun out of the game
How is that?

The higher ranks of this game are sucking the fun out of it***
You hit the nail on the head, and the problem is CoD wants to make money, but it's helps to listen every once in a while to the players on what we're having problems with.
Man that packet loss sh*t .... I stopped playing warzone bcuz of that... can't find one match without of my teammates having issues
Good it should fail me and two buddies got chat banned on there first day and I didn’t even cuss
COD = Collection Of Dollars
It's not just that, the grind is just ridiculous. I'm master prestige 169 - all cammos unlocked - all zombies easter eggs completed. Am i really supposed to get 800 more levels for my next acheivement? Really? Cos not one normal gamer will be getting to level 1000 this year.
@Inkslasher
I feel like you should send this to Blame Truth. Maybe he could learn how to talk into a mic.
Hackers, sbmm, whitelist and "house" anticheat have destroyed this game.

COD games can either have a hyped up launch and turn crap after everyone buys it like MWII and supposedly this game,
Or they can launch a game no one cares about but end up turning good so people buy them later and then have hope in the next game so they buy it like mwIII
The last time there was a ‘good’ cod was mw2019 where people were hyped for its launch and loved it through its life span, this caused issues because many people did not want to buy the next cod game because the game they had was good

As someone who works 50 hours a week or more. It does feel good getting on the game and actually getting a warzone win within 4 games.
Take them to church ink. Happy New Year
