Man that Lili at 5:01:00 was playing so beautifully. Side stepping mid string because they know Phil likes to mash when it's her turn. The beautiful side step when the roach whiffs Yoshi's two stab move. The ability to learn what Pigman is doing and countering it. Absolutely inspiring.

I love that when he's against low-rank opponents it's "They're just button mashing. They don't play anything like a high level player so I don't know what they're gonna do" but when the game pairs him with a higher level opponent it turns into "What the hell, this guy's so much higher rank, how am I supposed to beat him?"

what this video shows more then anything is that phil doesnt have a good mindset for fighting games. he blames everything and anything that isnt him on the losses. even early in the video. hes like "my moves didnt come out" "connection was bad" (even tho it wasnt) "they just spam nothing timed" etc. thats his main issue. he plays fighting games but doesnt aim to improve. and him blaming his lack of knowladge is the funniest part. cause he also isnt seeking out the knowladge he himself says he lacks.
