The trouble with the United States Mint Police is that they don't work After Eight.

After Eight is a brand of chocolate mints sold in the UK. @@nanonymous9139

That may have been kind of a dad joke
But certainly amongst the best of them so screw the Naysayers, I liked it. Probably best to end it at one, though ;)
*That we know about
If people don't know about it what's the need for security?
@@samforshaw7964 its not that. some buildings are so secret yet are highly secured, area 51 is a well known example of it but im sure there are many more bunkers/areas that are still hidden to the public yet protected by many layers.
@@samforshaw7964 Well, that's one layer of security. Then there's defending against curious or opportunistic trespassers and at worst case, defending against a determined and armed hostile force.
True, nothing is more secure than the secret minecraft cave I dug in my backyard.
@@samforshaw7964 Secrecy is a form of security
I'd like to hear your opinions on secure buildings... In my opinion, the most secure building is the one that you've never heard of.
Exactly. Maybe Fort Knox doesn't even have any gold in it.
Correct. We didn't even know about the huge bunker meant to house member of Congress beneath the Greenbrier Hotel in West Virginia until 1992, some 30 years after it became operational.
Woah!
MAX1MUS B LMaoooooooooooooooooooo
Thats the most secret.. These are the most secure. I think you've got it confused
These videos are just the perfect length. Short documentaries like these make the B1M one of the best Architecture channels on RUclips
Agreed BUT I could easily take in more of this!
They make longer videos from time to time but I could always watch longer ones than these and not even notice...let alone bother
After the 25 tone steel blast doors, the 7 foot wrought-iron White House fence is not so impressive anymore
I have been working on a 40 tone door in a Swedish city..
Lol but what other on the list has a five mile perimeter of surface to air missiles to combat any and all threats that come within it
@@Theo-qh9iw Maybe the Cheyenne Mountain Complex. It's still a backup command center attached to a major military base, so air defences and restricted airspace should remain in place. I hope they don't ruin too much of the site capabilities by letting lower ranks use it for training.
you could pole vault the thing 😂
@@fredcook4390 I doubt it. I never could pole vault.
And, of course, the basement levels of the Cheyenne Mountain complex contains the Stargate.
Alan Lambert oh, now you’ve spoiled everything !
of course
There's actually a door there now labelled "Stargate Command". Apparently it leads to a broom closet. 😕
@@JamesPhieffer with a hidden elevator. it is so overt it is covert.
@@JamesPhieffer It should lead to the toilet, because that's what it amounts to.
A sisters room is the most secure building in the world. Many have perished trying to enter

Can you tell us more maybe a link
@@unknownuser1154 wait you've never heard of this?? Shit there is a wikipedia page for it en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_White_House_intrusion
Joe Rogan has a hilarious bit about that story, the police had pulled him over days before he broke in and he had guns and tons of ammo and a map of the White House with a red x on it and they let him go, then he goes on to break into the White House without being detected and only brought a knife lol
@@unknownuser1154 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_White_House_intrusion
Something so nice about seeing a video like this where the sources of photos and visuals are actually referenced
A few years ago me and my friend were in Stockholm and we went to the entrance of the Bahnhof Data centre and waited outside until someone was going in, we asked if could see inside/have a little tour. The guy was really nice and welcomed us in and showed us around for an entire hour!
Actually. My macro micro economics teacher used to work for the treasury and told me that Fort Knox doesn’t actually hold any gold. It’s not a treasury building.
I love this channel. Always interesting and informative. Plus well done, I saw the earlier post.
No prisons... Nuclear power plants.... Chemical plants or some of the dedicated storage units for rare diseases or maybe these are to secretive/sensitive to list?
Supermaxxx!!!
@Matthew Hutchinson I can understand labs but Prisons? Nuclear Power Plants are both public domain and easily found. Details of the security of these facilities I totally agree are by their nature "persona non grata" but at least amend the title to a more reflective one... M2CW

Chance Herndon have hands on experience do ya 😂😂😂👍
Shame that more access isnt available for the Vatican archives. It defeats the purpose of keeping records if nobody can see them. Theres probably a lot of useful history down there.
they are hiding something
They can see them. You can't. That's the purpose.
Stupid logic. It's like me telling you to give me your phone so I can look at all your photos. because you know, that defeats the purpose of taking pics if nobody can see them.
it makes me more curious now
You'll be probably have to learn latin first.
Fun fact: The bullet proof glass, the color of the facade and the wood of the desks in the White House all come from a single small 400 inhabitants village in south west Germany.
2:02 some1 turn this man into a meme
Lol I dont know how lmao
Me searching the guy who asked.
Thank you B1M for another interesting video.
This is GREAT quality and you are growing so fast. Been here since 30k
Thank you!! We love our viewers! 👍👍
I kinda hope someone gets access to all of those documents. That amount of history shouldn’t be held by a tiny group, when we have the technology to spread that knowledge to countless people. You can’t change the past, so let’s learn what really happened
LPL: "Ok folks, as you saw this can be defeated in under a second using nothing more than a magnet. In any case, thats all I have for you today..."
It's now time to craft a diamond pickaxe
Need much exp for a certain level to do that pal
While not on the same scale, I worked in London for many years as an instrument engineer and had access to some restricted areas. I had to service, maintain humidity and temperature equipment in this vault under an unassuming building in central London. Once passed many many security points, you finally end up in a several rooms of racks and shelves with paintings, books, sculpture etc. It was all bought by a company as investments for workers pension funds. It was mad, I had the chance to have a look around and picked up a book handwritten by Charles Darwin, and Picasso paintings and more.
You should do an anonymous write up about it. I know where some of Hitler's cars are hidden in Northern CA from a friend who worked there. She showed me a scrap piece.
@@NicholasLittlejohn It could make for an interesting read. 👍
Only found your channel recently and I'm already hooked with your videos. Why didn't I find your channel sooner?!
Fun fact. Bahnhof's datacenter shown in the video (Pionen, located in "south" Stockholm) isn't the only datacenter to use an old bunker.
Just a bit to the south, in a place called Tullinge, there is a second, much deeper and larger bunker, that a company called Tieto operates.
(Then there is a few other bunkers used for datacenters in Sweden with a less "I am over here!" approach to marketing.)
There's also "Cyberbunker", which notoriously used the building security to host criminal activities.
0:58 "... and also serving as the base of Stargate Command ever since."
Love these guys' videos. Great channel, well done. Thank you.
Lived in KY my whole life. Easy to forget fort knox is just a few miles from where i grew up. Used to hear tanks all the time

this is quality content. you've definitely earned a sub for this :)
The schematic you show for NORAD is in fact the schematic for the Raven Rock in PA
Would been nice to see the Svalbard Global Seed Vault on the list but great video non the less!
Probably excluded as it's been covered previously on the B1M (The world's most remote buildings).
I too, would’ve thought that the vault would be on this list as well.
I think it's secure more in the sense that it protects the seeds and maintains a very controlled environment rather than keeping people out like these buildings, but I see your point.
Yeah, Its not high security in the way the rest of the facilities in the video are. Even just some regular run of the mill military base is going to be considered more secure. Svalbard is just remote. It doesnt have multiple branches of a global military, or even just soldiers and cops guarding it 24/7.
@@jordanjacobson6046 you answered your own question, it's more remote than "secure" aka its in the Remote Buildings video.
I am soooooooo glad that I found this channel. You bet I subscribed to it!!!!
My favorite channel.
Nice video once again
And the Stargate programme!
James Neave indeed
No area 51
Should also add the Svalbard Seed Vault as a worthy mention
i love your voice i love what you do! would love to see you do other kinds of videos because you explain stuff so good love to see more different videos.
i love how in that photo of For Knox, they have a window open on the security checkpoint haha ;)

Fixed it for you.

I see B1M videos, I click the like button.
Was at the White House in June '19. What they didn't mention is that the driveway so to speak leading into it, has like 3+ rows of HUGE anti vehicle pillars that are risen out of the ground. The number of guards around it was really high too. Pretty cool sight though.
I love your,,, channel,,, i learn a lot more about buildings, mechanics, and other structure.,,
Hey interesting video! I saw yesterday that the Tulip Building in London got the planning permission, voted 18-7 in favour of it. Will be interesting to see how that develops :)
Don't you mean blossoms...? 😃
Who else remembers when the penguins in penguins of Madagascar broke into Fort Nox😅
Great video as always!
Once again a very fascinating and enjoyable program. As always very well done👍🏼
Wednesdays are my favourite day of the week!
Great video but you missed something. The Cheyenne Mountain Complex is also home to Stargate Command.
i was searching for my friend
it is the most secret and secure place there is
The most secure building in the world, is the building that keeps all of its valuable and important stuffs outside of the building.
"Cheyenne Mountain Complex" also known as StarGate Command
StarGate SG1
Area 51 be like:
Am i a joke to you?
This was the comment I was looking for...😀😀
4:25 the bulding is featured in the video game payday 2 as playable map. The studio that developed the game Starbreez is actually a swedish studio. The copy is prettt faitful to the real one.
General Hammond will be happy to hear that the secrets of cheyenne mountain are safe indeed ;)
Truly secure buildings you do not know about, and that is for sure!!!
Wrong, the most secure building is one you've never heard about.
You would think so. But if no one (or few people) know a building exists it most likely doesn't need a high level of security.
Like the way I don't know your house?
unknown != secure
Security through obscurity is a bad idea. What if someone finds it by accident?
Nahsor, well we still haven’t heard from anyone that has found one. Pretty sure they disappeared.

Payday 2 players know how easy is it To Rob
Checking the comments just to see if someone had the same idea like me,and well i found it

Great as always... even though I did not get the security of the archive, at Vatican City... Maybe a very restrictred area, as many countries may have, but it is not the most secure impenetrable building...
I heard that the building operating the energy system in the United States is reportedly the most guarded place on this continent.
No comments on the misspelling of Ronald Reagan?
that airport shouldn't even be called "Ronald "Reagan" ; or Donald Regan (one of his administration officials), for that matter. it's an insult to the flight industry.
I love the B1M
the Bahnhof place looks like the underground facilities from GTA Online.. I wonder if they were inspired by it
Nah. It's wear Wikileaks and The Pirate Bay were hosted. None of that fad game shite.
Stop living in a computer game
I remember a picture in Time magazine from the mid 70's where Steve Ford (President Ford's youngest son) went out for a jog and climbed back over the fence to get back inside quicker. I guess that's not happening anymore...

The SABRE reservations mainframe site in Tulsa OK and the Federal Reserve cash center in East Rutherford NJ are two of the most secure on the planet.

Could you please not lie about what Cheyenne Mountain is being used for now. It is well documented that there is a Stargate there now. No reason to hide it.

7:12 its the round that delivers death not the weapon , you can have a anti tank launcher, but if you put a 9mm cartrage in it , it won't fire, but if you somehow modified it to shoot it, guess what? you get the same power as if it was coming from a Glock 17.

Could you make a video on ancient Greek and Roman construction techniques please?
Huge correction:
The Vatican is *currently digitizing their archives,* that are not sensitive to their ideology.
Which makes their archives more available to the public than is said in the video.
The video is still true though if they are currently doing that, which means that they aren't yet easily accessible. Plus it was a video about secure buildings, not the stuff inside of them.
i take this as a challenge!
Whenever you watch such a video you feel like breaking in
WOW the white house has the same wrought iron fence I put in my backyard? With SPIKES?
Secure AF!
Svalbard Global Seed Vault is pretty secure. It's main purpose is to guard the worlds food crop seeds from Monsanto and Bayer Chemical.

nope, any fully auto or bolt gun will go straight through, regardless of the caliber or round XD
Great video.
Love how he spends about 20 seconds talking about a fence with spikes on top.
To the people saying that "the most secure building is the one you've never heard about", please notice that _that_ would only make it the most _secret_ building, not necessarily the most _secure_ building. There's a difference.
