Can’t wait to see you to read Hills of Shivers and Shadows. I’ve been wanting to read it, but I’m pretty nervous about how dark it truly is. I always appreciate your “dark levels” and when you are bothered by something, I usually feel the same way…so if your shaken up by it, I know to skip that one 🙃🤣
I really want to read Hills of Shivers and Shadows so bad now that I’m hearing it’s super dark….I just need to buy it already. I’ve been saving Gothikana for my fall reads, the hardback is gorgeous!
I’m scared and nervous for you to read Hills of Shivers and Shadows. I love it but it’s darkkkk. It’s why choose and you can get points for reading other teams tropes 🖤
This is an awesome list! I just ordered Filthy Rich Fae from the same author as the vampire one a few days ago, because it has pretty sprayed edges with stenciled artwork while being a paperback, and I'm all about paperbacks getting special treatments. This one sounds a bit more maffia romance-y but I'm assuming both books are in the same world considering their title. Also, I can't believe it didn't originally click for me when you announced the PotO challenge, that pretty much any vampire novel is considered age-gap. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ This should give me more choices for books to read in September, not just Gothikana. 🤔😸😸
Bahaha I didn’t realize it either!!! When I was trying to come up with my TBR list, my friend April brought up that all fae/vampire romances are essentially age gap 😅
i am also really excited for fear the flames!!
You are human! Fantastic video as usual!
@@nicki.in.bookland Thanks Nicki!! 🫶🏼🥰

@@corychristy156 Happy Birthday!!! Mine isn’t until the 27th so really late into September 😅
I have almost no hard limits… except animal death. I appreciate the mention. Great recs! I really need to decide my place in the readathon.
Great recs! And you’re too hard on yourself. The video looked great!
Awe, thank you!!!! 🙏
I love Gothikana soooo much. It also has a lot of Edgar Allen Poe references in it!
I'm so excited for the readathon. I'm also planning on reading Gothikana.
The veiled kingdom is great! The second book was kind of disappointing for me but the first book was pretty good
The Romance Readathon is going to be so fun! Go Team Opera Owners!💜

I wanna read Veiled Kingdom and Hills of Shivers and Shadows so bad!!
I just convinced my fiancé to Buddy read Lady of Darkness with me. I’ve been really wanting to read it and I can’t wait to get started.
I believe there is the billionaire trope in Hills of Shivers and Shadows, but you can double check Jenn because she’s read the whole trilogy
P.S you are intolerable is the besttttttttttt❤

Yes, please always ruin animal death. I actively avoid reading about that and will skip books where it happens. ❤
