I was listening to this as I did something else. She started talking about the “wide shoes” trope and I’m like seriously? people want a romance with someone who wears wide shoes?!? Finally figured out it was “why choose” and not “wide shoes”.
Oooh for love triangle - Road of Bones was great! I was like wait, what is going on? Why am I kind of liking both of these men? It’s a Viking inspired fantasy romance with a found family trope and it’s just so good ❤
I don't think I've seen you mention this series before, but the Five Crowns of Okrith hits a few of these tropes too, since the series focuses on different main character couples across 5 books. Notably it has a lost heir (book 1) and rejected fated mates (book 5). It also has disability rep with an autistic MC (book 4) and an MC who lost a leg in an accident (book 5). It's LGBTQ+ and diverse in a way that I have not seen in any other romantasy series.
I loved Before I Let Go! I still need to read the second book. But I am very excited for the movie. I bet the movie will be great. I’ve had A King So Cold on my wish list for a while now. I may have to pick it up in August. It sounds so good. I would love to see more book recs of fantasy romance that no one is talking about. I know you did a video of underrated books before but I would love to see you do more of it. I’m always looking for more super underrated book recs.
My second chance romance trifecta are : Before I Let Go. For Lucy. And FORGET ME NOT by QB Tyler. All were chef’s kiss perfect My favorite Nina G Jones is Take Me with You (captor/ captive. Unhinged / morally grey hero)
I had no idea how to define it so I looked up the Wikipedia definition 😅: “Omegaverse, also known as A/B/O (an abbreviation for "alpha/beta/omega"), is a subgenre of speculative fiction: the premise is that a dominance hierarchy exists in humans, which are divided into dominant "alphas", neutral "betas", and submissive "omegas".[1] This hierarchy determines how people interact with one another in romantic context. * I hope that made sense, I still don’t fully understand it lol

😂 to funny !
The plot twists of a king so cold were good!!!
I really enjoy when you put up images of books . Hard for me to find the books with good reads.

And my tbr just got even bigger, lol! 🤦♀️🤣
I really think you'd love "Bones" by K.L. Speer! Just based on your taste and the videos I've seen so far :)
I really like the third book in the Spiders Mate trilogy better than the second book
City of God and Monsters is also a great caretaker fantasy romance book. Highly recommend!
Hey Jess do you have any recs for body guard romance? Fantasy or historical preferably 🥰
I love these videos for book recs. Do you have any recs for brother's best friend?
Yes! 1) Inked in Lies by Giana Darling 2) Wild Love by Elsie Silver 3) Taming 7 by Chloe Walsh
I know you're not a fan of workplace romance, but I loved The Fake Mate by Lana Ferguson. Tropes: workplace romance and fake dating
I didn't even know "sharp object near body" trope even existed 😳
If you like Zodiac academy for Fated mates, then you will love Dragon Marked. Similar but better.

Ahh I’ve been waiting for Take Me with You to come out via audio since it released, the story sounds so good!
Is there a trope that has long lost friends reunite leading to romance?
Do you have to read the Shadow and Bone series before the Six of Crows duology, or can you just read it on its own?
You can read it on its own! I’ve had a lot of friends read the duology without ever reading Shadow & Bone and they still rated it 5 stars!
@@HonestFiction Oh okay, thank you!
Lady of Darkness is also so good for the ‘found family’ trope! I would say for the ‘Love Triangle’ trope, Lightlark.
Do you have any cop romance recs? ❤
The only cop romance I can think of off the top of my head is Good Gone Bad by Giana Darling 🖤
@@HonestFiction omigosh thank you so much for responding!!! 💗 I’ll check it out!
What is "omegaverse"? 🤔
