I took in 12 feral cats that were injured or starving over the course of about 2 months before the real cold came. They were a lot of daily maintenance but once I established myself as top cat they all kind of chilled out. I will never forget the nights with 12 cats laying in piles on the bed while the rain hammered the roof. When it warmed up I let them go to the big park behind my place and I feed them every day. Some still come ìn for a night now and then. Im an old guy with no family left and for me there is nothing better then when I go to feed them and they come running from èvery direction to circle around me for pets and treats...
I took in a Ferril cat, starving and a mess. frightened but he knew I was helping him. he lives here now and we named him Hobo. he's very old but living his best life and that old boy is a real talker.
I find it hard to believe that this is a fact. We had a feral cat that was staying at our house outside. We had fed this cat outside for months. Occasionally, she would look as if she wanted to come in the house. So I open the door once she walked around the back room And went back outside. About a week later, I tried the same thing excepting I closed the door behind her. That cat went virtually berserk. She attempted to jumped through that screen door hitting the plate glass as hard as could possibly be. Before I could open the door the cat did it again almost knocking herself out. There’s no way a wild bobcat would come into somebody’s house once the door is closed.
My daughter was able to get 2 feral cats to come in. She fed them, gave them water and warmth. Now they want in and go to her and her kids for attention.. don't say never when it comes to wild animals, they have gone to humans for help and became life long friends to the human that helped.
When I was in grade 9 I had a girlfriend who’s family had a pet bobcat. Her father found a bobcat kitten alone in the woods in Newfoundland & brought it home with him. ❤
Bobcats have short tails no longer than 2 to 4 inches long. The “cats” in this video have very long tails. Although they have physical traits similar to Bobcats, they definitely not!
@@antoniograncino3506 The title of this video is "Freezing Bobcat". The Bobcat and Lynx are two different species although similar in appearance. Both lynx and bobcats belong to the same Lynx genus. Bobcats are the smallest cats in the species with stubby tails and distinct dark strips on the forelegs and tail. Lynx are larger and have a tuft of dark hair on the tips of their ears. Lynx have longer legs and bigger paws. Additionally, lynx live in Europe, Russia, Asia and North America, while bobcats live only in North America. The lynx's larger feet and longer legs help it navigate the deep snow common in its range. Its big, furry paws act like snowshoes to help this feline chase down food in the winter. Freezing bobcats? Or Lynxes? These animals can bear very low temperatures. Cubs in the winter? What happened to the biological clock of the mother? What a pile of sentimental rubbish...
Question: Where did all these "bobcats" (With long tales) go to the bathroom while they were in his house? Second: What does this guy do for a living when he has all this time on his hands to take care of a whole family of wild bobcats? Finally, a whole family of wild bobcats in his home, and they never tear things apart in his house. Even one domesticated cat can raise hell inside of your home until they get used to you. This story is ridiculous.
He made a litter box and instantly, the "bobcats" knew how to use it. That was after making them a bed with an old mattress he just happened to have laying around.

These aren't Bobcats. Bobcats have short tails, hence the name Bobcat. These cats are domestic cats that are wild. Thats how she knew she could get help from humans.
Beautiful cats, great pics. They’re clearly not bobcats, but they’re not your usual house cats either. The appearance of the kits suggests they are purebred. Somebody’s raising those cats in your area - whatever crossbreed they are. Giving birth within days of coming in? I had a feral cat do that, giving birth within a week. Two that did so I had never seen before, but it was clear they were quite familiar with people. The third was an older feral cat who moved in only after observing me for over a year and having explored my house a few times.
