best mascara i’ve tried for feathery lashes is the heroine make long & curl! it has super fine fibers that are invisible on the lashes. like the glossier one except they don’t brag about it in marketing idk why
yessss! that mascara is the only thing that keeps my lashes up without any smudging or whatsoever. SO GOOD!
IKR ! I saw the result of the Glossier mascara and I was like ?? Isn't that like every Japanese mascara I've ever tried ? Especially the Heroine or the FiberWig one

Never start at the base with mascara if you have straight lashes! Always start at the end of the lashes and then go over to the other eye so it can dry and switch eye and work yourself down until you come to the base. And when you come to the base put a very little amount of mascara there because if you are applaying to much on the base the lashes will fall down. All these extra products as mascara base and waterproof products is just uncessary, do this technique, much faster and easier.

The canmake quick lash curl base comes in clear and black and works super well too! I use the black lash curl base when I just want a casual look. It lasts so long and is so convenient ☺️
I bought this after seeing this video and I have to say the mascara base really works! I’ve never had lashes stay curled before, I’m truly impressed. If anyone buys this, please remember to scrape access product of the mascara wand and let it sit on your lashes a little so it gets tacky. I put too much product on and my lashes were clumpy, spidery and they didn’t hold their curl up. A little goes a long way! Hope this helps anyone!

i'm an asian blessed with naturally long curly lashes i've had my whole life. For people with short lashes out there i suggest using vaseline/petroleum jelly, comb them through and put it on your lash line. I've heard castor oil helps as well. curl them constantly if they are straight. hopefully it helps!
I HIGHLY recommend a lash lift!! I found extensions too high maintenance and don’t look too good in between fills and I touch my eyes way too often but lifts basically perm your lashes til they grow out and it takes about a month! If you don’t have volume and length i don’t think it would benefit tho :/

My eyelashes grow straight down as well. I used to fight to have mine curl, but then I decided that I didn't necessarily want to look like everyone else. Now I embrace them! (When not wearing mascara, which is most of the time these days anyways). Thanks for another great video Sarah. xxxx
From my experience, the PMEL essense mascara base is not a good buy. It makes your eyelashes stiff and does not come off even with strong makeup remover. There will just be sticky white residue after you have tried to wash it off. And also, if your are thinking "I'll just curl my lashes and put the PMEL product on so it looks natural" -wrong. It will just be white and take a spider's leg amount of mascara to cover the white color.
Do you not have a problem with brittle lashes or lashes falling out? I feel like waterproof mascara definitely weakened my lashes over time

Wearing waterproof mascara isn’t the best for your lashes, they cause your eyelashes to lose water and dry out. That makes it easier for them to break or fall out more often.

Tara Kim i have the same problem and u found that applying castor oil on your eyelashes or brows really helps to strengthen your lashes and keeps them from falling out less
Try wearing regular mascara on the major of your lashes to the tips and then applying a curl holding/waterproof mascara on the roots!
Moa Mos That doesn’t work for everyone, my eyelashes went like so far down because it felt too heavy
My eyelashes are usually somewhat curled naturally but I like to curl them just to give them a little extra boost, and then a coat of the Lancôme hypnose mascara. I absolutely love it and I get so many compliments on my lashes.
also the loreal lash paradise waterproof version works so well for asian lashes!

I just got that eyelash primer thanks to this video and I also got the Kiss Me Heroine mascara and GIRL. My lashes won’t go down at all! I even slept in it and they stayed intact. This stuff is my new holy grail, I can’t thank you enough for recommending it!

I tried the Pmel primer for the first time today and it’s literally magic, my lashes never stay curled and this lash primer kept my lashes up nearly all day which never happens

I know it’s not made for this, but I have found that if I coat my lashes with clear brow gel or that clear Great Lash mascara, and let it completely dry before curling my lashes, they hold so well. It’s kind of like prepping hair with hairspray before curling.

y’all just put Vaseline on them everyday and curl them even if your not going out or wearing mascara it helps them grow and be more curled upwards. And when u do go out do the same thing and it will stay curled up.

Mine be like that sometimes. But I can always fix them by 'combing' my mascara wand through them multiple times. Maybe you can try this?

I've got this problem. I always use a lash curler, but maybe I'm using it wrong. When I curl my top lashes, somehow my bottom lashes also get curled. I guess my bottom lashes are pretty close to my top lashes in the corner of my eye, and they also wanna join in and I don't knowhow to NOT curl them, struggle ahh
It sounds like you're curling them with your eye closed. It's a bit scary at first but keep your eye wide open as you curl your lashes. You have to be careful so you don't mess up your eye shadow but it should work. Also, you can flip your lash curler upside down to curl your bottom lashes like the makeup artist Pony does on her channel.
I also have this trick for my short asian lashes🤧 What I do is to first curl my lashes like 20x (I sometimes even do the barbecue stick and fire trick) then I use either a clear eyebrow gel or clear eyelash gel, lastly I curl it again😅 This trick works so well w me and I’ve always done this if I wanted a more natural look. It also stays curled for a loooong time.
I never knew about this asian lashes coz I'm asian but me and my bro has thick curled lashes (not that I'm bragging)
But I do put on petroleum jelly everynight to keep them healthy.
Petroleum jelly doesn’t do shit. It acts as a barrier so that moister doesn’t escape but it doesn’t hydrate, lengthen, or strength your lashes

Thank you for this! I'm not Asian but I look it in the eyes and I've spent so much money on mascara. I hate the running and smudging, the raccoon eyes after trying to wipe it off all day, it's ridiculous. I've been practicing with fake lashes, but my lashes are so straight, and short and my eyes are small, that I still have to put on mascara to color them and try to get them to stick and blend with the fake ones, still have running by the end of the day, so what's the point. Since youre from asia, i hope you can try the heroine make mascara in long and curl. Thats stuff is bomb too! Will make your lashes literally long curled! The only downside for me is soooo difficult to remove! But heck i good makeup remover will work!

Y’all I highly recommend the covergirl lash blast waterproof mascara the one in the orange bottle. It is amazing! The eyelashes don’t look clumpy at all but it elongated them and keeps them up the entire day without any base mascara or anything like that. Alexis Ren uses it and it’s her holy grail so that’s why I tried it and it’s seriously amazing for straight lashes.

Use castor oil + coconut oil + olive oil on your lashes every night. Or maybe just castor oil may work for you too. I've been using the castor oil alone for 10 months now and my short baby lashes has grown out a lot :)

To everyone who reads this, please make sure your eyelash curler doesn’t have a split in the middle! I ended up with almost no eyelashes left because of the split in my eyelash curler. When your eyelash curler has a split in the middle you will push your eyelashes in the split and your lashes will end up in the split, you won’t see it unless you really zoom in. Please make sure you have a eyelash curler without a split angels, and then this method will work excellent!!

Update: Hi my mascara primer finally arrived! This is a godsend and actually works! I copied Sarah's exact routine and used the same products as she did except I didn't tightline my eyes. Don’t add too much or you’ll have some clumpy lashes. People think I’m either wearing natural falsies or have on eyelash extensions lol. I’ll post a link of them rn.

If you live in US use Maybeline covergirl WATERPROOF mascara, will keep them up & trick is to apply little by little if you wet to much they will go down again. 👍🏼
I used to curl my lashes almost everyday but they got really weak and now i’m trying out coconut oil and it’s helped a lot. My lashes are sooo straight but idk if I should try this i’m afraid they’ll get weak again. Any suggestions?

@@lunaandluna737 yasss, i just tried the eyeliner and the mascara; the mascara does give a fluffy look but doesn't give much volume (as compared to the Huda Beauty Legit Lashes I was using). as for the eyeliner, we'll have to see if it smudges but it does glide on quite nicely. i would say that the most "life-changing" out of them all is the mascara base so get that one first!
