Always start at the end of the lashes and then go over to the other eye so it can dry and switch eye and work yourself down until you come to the base. And when you come to the base put a very little amount of mascara there because if you are applaying to much on the base the lashes will fall down. All these extra products as mascara base and waterproof products is just uncessary, do this technique, much faster and easier.

the heroine make super waterproof mascara is amazing, it’s the only mascara that keeps my straight ass asian lashes curled throughout the day. it doesnt even need a mascara base. the only thing is that its a pain to remove but its worth it lol i really recommend it

If anyone buys this, please remember to scrape access product of the mascara wand and let it sit on your lashes a little so it gets tacky. i'm an asian blessed with naturally long curly lashes i've had my whole life. For people with short lashes out there i suggest using vaseline/petroleum jelly, comb them through and put it on your lash line. I've heard castor oil helps as well. curl them constantly if they are straight. hopefully it helps!
From my experience, the PMEL essense mascara base is not a good buy. It makes your eyelashes stiff and does not come off even with strong makeup remover. There will just be sticky white residue after you have tried to wash it off. And also, if your are thinking "I'll just curl my lashes and put the PMEL product on so it looks natural" -wrong. It will just be white and take a spider's leg amount of mascara to cover the white color.
My eyelashes are usually somewhat curled naturally but I like to curl them just to give them a little extra boost, and then a coat of the Lancôme hypnose mascara. I absolutely love it and I get so many compliments on my lashes.
I HIGHLY recommend a lash lift!! I found extensions too high maintenance and don’t look too good in between fills and I touch my eyes way too often but lifts basically perm your lashes til they grow out and it takes about a month! If you don’t have volume and length i don’t think it would benefit tho :/

I know it’s not made for this, but I have found that if I coat my lashes with clear brow gel or that clear Great Lash mascara, and let it completely dry before curling my lashes, they hold so well. It’s kind of like prepping hair with hairspray before curling.
I tried the Pmel primer for the first time today and it’s literally magic, my lashes never stay curled and this lash primer kept my lashes up nearly all day which never happens
I just got that eyelash primer thanks to this video and I also got the Kiss Me Heroine mascara and GIRL. My lashes won’t go down at all! I even slept in it and they stayed intact. This stuff is my new holy grail, I can’t thank you enough for recommending it!

y’all just put Vaseline on them everyday and curl them even if your not going out or wearing mascara it helps them grow and be more curled upwards. And when u do go out do the same thing and it will stay curled up.
Y’all I highly recommend the covergirl lash blast waterproof mascara the one in the orange bottle. It is amazing! The eyelashes don’t look clumpy at all but it elongated them and keeps them up the entire day without any base mascara or anything like that. I did the same, first using curler at then close to eyelash root, then climbing up to the end of eyelash, keep repeat it 2 or 3 times as you need. It help alots, of course it take a fews minute than usually, but it worthy. Since youre from asia, i hope you can try the heroine make mascara in long and curl. Thats stuff is bomb too! Will make your lashes literally long curled! The only downside for me is soooo difficult to remove! But heck i good makeup remover will work!
I've got this problem. I always use a lash curler, but maybe I'm using it wrong. When I curl my top lashes, somehow my bottom lashes also get curled. I guess my bottom lashes are pretty close to my top lashes in the corner of my eye, and they also wanna join in and I don't knowhow to NOT curl them, struggle ahh
It sounds like you're curling them with your eye closed. It's a bit scary at first but keep your eye wide open as you curl your lashes. You have to be careful so you don't mess up your eye shadow but it should work. Also, you can flip your lash curler upside down to curl your bottom lashes like the makeup artist Pony does on her channel.
I also have this trick for my short asian lashes🤧 What I do is to first curl my lashes like 20x (I sometimes even do the barbecue stick and fire trick) then I use either a clear eyebrow gel or clear eyelash gel, lastly I curl it again😅 This trick works so well w me and I’ve always done this if I wanted a more natural look. It also stays curled for a loooong time.
I never knew about this asian lashes coz I'm asian but me and my bro has thick curled lashes (not that I'm bragging) But I do put on petroleum jelly everynight to keep them healthy.
1) Heat the eyelash curler with a lighter or hair blower (don’t burn yourself), test the temperature on your fingers before using it, eyelid is very sensitive 2) turn your eyelash curler 90 deg. 3) use cotton balls to make longer lashes 4) apply mascara 5) nourish your lashes with castor oil daily Combinaisons of what I have learn 😅 Feel free to share 😉

I hate the running and smudging, the raccoon eyes after trying to wipe it off all day, it's ridiculous. I've been practicing with fake lashes, but my lashes are so straight, and short and my eyes are small, that I still have to put on mascara to color them and try to get them to stick and blend with the fake ones, still have running by the end of the day, so what's the point. For all my latin people with straight eyelashes you can use Super Lash By Apple mascara. You basically curl your eyelashes and once they are curled you apply the mascara and the mascara holds the curl and it works so good, I always put it on and it will last me the whole day and I still have it in the morning. The eyelash curler I use is the Elf one. And the apple mascara is cheap it's like 3$ you can find it at a Mexican restaurant or maybe Foodtown or go online. -some people don't like the wand cause it's kind of big. But you can always switch it up- I love the pink and green one by apple ofc
To everyone who reads this, please make sure your eyelash curler doesn’t have a split in the middle! I ended up with almost no eyelashes left because of the split in my eyelash curler. When your eyelash curler has a split in the middle you will push your eyelashes in the split and your lashes will end up in the split, you won’t see it unless you really zoom in. Please make sure you have a eyelash curler without a split angels, and then this method will work excellent!!

I’ve found that they work just about the same. I tried out both, and the only difference is the pmel base keeps it on a few hours more. Etude house’s kept it on for 8 hours, but pmel essence stayed up for 10 hours, and it did stay curled even after I took my makeup off. So it’s really up to you which you prefer.
For me the Etude House one keeps my lashes up for a good 5 minutes, without it they only stay up only for 1min. So I really hope the Pmel one works better.
I bought the pmel base because I saw this video a while back and it just came in a few days ago and i'm so happy it works!! Idk if i'm putting too much on because they get sort of clumpy so I will have to try using less of the base next time before mascara. But FINALLY my straight-ass lashes stay UP!

Try wearing regular mascara on the major of your lashes to the tips and then applying a curl holding/waterproof mascara on the roots!

I've got this problem. I always use a lash curler, but maybe I'm using it wrong. When I curl my top lashes, somehow my bottom lashes also get curled. I guess my bottom lashes are pretty close to my top lashes in the corner of my eye, and they also wanna join in and I don't knowhow to NOT curl them, struggle ahh
It sounds like you're curling them with your eye closed. It's a bit scary at first but keep your eye wide open as you curl your lashes. You have to be careful so you don't mess up your eye shadow but it should work. Also, you can flip your lash curler upside down to curl your bottom lashes like the makeup artist Pony does on her channel.
I also have this trick for my short asian lashes🤧 What I do is to first curl my lashes like 20x (I sometimes even do the barbecue stick and fire trick) then I use either a clear eyebrow gel or clear eyelash gel, lastly I curl it again😅 This trick works so well w me and I’ve always done this if I wanted a more natural look. It also stays curled for a loooong time.
also the loreal lash paradise waterproof version works so well for asian lashes!

But I do put on petroleum jelly everynight to keep them healthy.
Petroleum jelly doesn’t do shit. It acts as a barrier so that moister doesn’t escape but it doesn’t hydrate, lengthen, or strength your lashes
Soo I got it and ITS FREAKING AMAZING I ACTUALLY WANNA CRY ITS LITERALLY THE BEST THING ON EARTHHHH NO JOKE

Question: So how do we deal with “Asian Lashes” and “Asian Monolids” that press DOWN the lashes :) now thats a challenge
1) Heat the eyelash curler with a lighter or hair blower (don’t burn yourself), test the temperature on your fingers before using it, eyelid is very sensitive
2) turn your eyelash curler 90 deg.
3) use cotton balls to make longer lashes
4) apply mascara
5) nourish your lashes with castor oil daily

Thank you for this! I'm not Asian but I look it in the eyes and I've spent so much money on mascara. I hate the running and smudging, the raccoon eyes after trying to wipe it off all day, it's ridiculous. I've been practicing with fake lashes, but my lashes are so straight, and short and my eyes are small, that I still have to put on mascara to color them and try to get them to stick and blend with the fake ones, still have running by the end of the day, so what's the point. For all my latin people with straight eyelashes you can use Super Lash By Apple mascara. You basically curl your eyelashes and once they are curled you apply the mascara and the mascara holds the curl and it works so good, I always put it on and it will last me the whole day and I still have it in the morning. The eyelash curler I use is the Elf one. And the apple mascara is cheap it's like 3$ you can find it at a Mexican restaurant or maybe Foodtown or go online. -some people don't like the wand cause it's kind of big. But you can always switch it up- I love the pink and green one by apple ofc

To everyone who reads this, please make sure your eyelash curler doesn’t have a split in the middle! I ended up with almost no eyelashes left because of the split in my eyelash curler. When your eyelash curler has a split in the middle you will push your eyelashes in the split and your lashes will end up in the split, you won’t see it unless you really zoom in. Please make sure you have a eyelash curler without a split angels, and then this method will work excellent!!

I’ve found that they work just about the same. I tried out both, and the only difference is the pmel base keeps it on a few hours more. Etude house’s kept it on for 8 hours, but pmel essence stayed up for 10 hours, and it did stay curled even after I took my makeup off. So it’s really up to you which you prefer.

For me the Etude House one keeps my lashes up for a good 5 minutes, without it they only stay up only for 1min. So I really hope the Pmel one works better.

I bought the pmel base because I saw this video a while back and it just came in a few days ago and i'm so happy it works!! Idk if i'm putting too much on because they get sort of clumpy so I will have to try using less of the base next time before mascara. But FINALLY my straight-ass lashes stay UP!
