Mass Produce Cards with ONE Sheet of Card Stock! | EASY way to MASS PRODUCE CARDS!
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 4 июл 2020
- In this video I will show you how to mass produce cards the easy way with one pice of card stock! I will show you how I created a reusable template (that you can make, with things you already have!) to help me create multiple cards with the same design. #massproduce #onesheetwonder
In the video, I use an 8.5 inch by 11 inch sheet of card stock, but you can use any size card stock that is standard in your country to make greeting cards! To make it easy to keep and reuse, after creating the lines on it, I laminated it to protect it and easily allow me to reuse it time and again.
I hope you find this helpful and be sure to leave me a comment in the section below on what you think of this #cardmaking technique to make #handmadecards! I hope it's helpful and that you enjoy.

If you don't use 8.5" by 11:" card stock in your country, you can adjust this template to mass produce cards the way it best suits your card making!
What a time saver. Thanks Kathya!
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
Great idea 👍🏻
Another reason to love the TH platform over the MISTI.
Brilliant! When I mass produce it is faster than when I make one card. This technique is wonderful and will further expedite my card making. Thank you for sharing!!!! Have a great day ✌🏼
You’re so welcome! ♥️
I'm with ya! Each card is usually a little original work of heart 💓
I love that play on words! So true!!!
Excellent tutorial. Thank you for all the tips.
Very smart design your template!
Thank you for sharing!
Thank you, and thanks so much for watching! ♥️
WOW fantastic idea 😍 I love your idea and beautiful cards ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
You are so welcome
Fabulous ideas!
Thank you! ♥️
You are so right about not wanting to part with a card that turns out! I’m going to make this template. Great idea here. Thank You for this tip and your cards are beautiful!
You're very welcome! I'm glad you found it helpful--and in time for holiday cards!
Another brilliant technique! I can’t wait to try this. I have several cards to make, so will be trying it today. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! ♥️
I totally agree with mass producing because I have so many cards I want to share but just can't seem to 😁
Another brilliant idea 🤩 Thank you! 💚
This awesome, love the idea of laminating the sheet!
Glad you like it! Super easy and enjoy more cards to make! :)
I always make one card at a time, but what you're doing in this video makes a lot of sense. And i also have a hard time giving them away. So I will try your method. Thanks for sharing. Hugs from Ireland.
Wonderful! I'm so glad you found it helpful! Hugs back to Ireland from the USA! 😍🤗
I agree about making only one item! That’s what I like about swaps, I began to make multiples of a card!
Agreed. So much better to do multiples.
You are a genius! I subscribed when I found your stamping jig patterned after the turn about stamps. I LOVE yours. I am not stuck with the company's stamps. I can use the stamps I bought, because, surprise, I liked them! This template is right up there in usefulness. Thank you so for sharing. You are a kind d and generous heart. I am truly blessed to be on the receiving end. 😊
Aw, your comment made me smile. Thank you for the very kind words. I’m so glad you found it helpful!!!
This is such a timely video. I feel much more productive mass-producing so that I have a card or 2 to share! I spend an hour or so (or even more) making a card & then keep it. Last week, I made 3 birthday cards before I could let go & send one!!
Oh my gosh! I do the same thing! But then I think...hmmmm, I don’t want to be a card hoarder! The goal is to send them, right?! Mass producing is the way to go! 😘
This was so well explained! Thank you!
You’re very welcome! ♥️
Okay, I’m so glad I’m not the only one spends an hour on a card and then I have to take pictures because I only made one😕. Excellent tips! Glad I found you!! New Subbie!😄
Glad to have you ! 🥰
This is cool. I've never seen it done this way before.
Thank you! 🥰
I do a combination of one at a time and mass producing cards. I have a small container filled with sentiments stamped on die cuts, and another one with simple strips. I have boxes with die cuts so I can grab them as needed. Yesterday I alcohol inked 4 sheets of duralar and cut 2 of them down into panels for slimline cards. I now have 8 slimline card backgrounds glued down to the cards. They are waiting for a large branch type white die cut and a simple strip. I will do the die cutting with 3 or 4 layers at a time using steel rule dies.
I love reading this! I always try to find ways to stay committed to the craft I love but enjoy more of the same thing, so this is very helpful! Thanks for sharing!
@@KathyaKalinine You are welcome! Thank you for doing wonderful videos!
This is a great tip trick! Great for Xmas cards. Thank you
You’re very welcome! ♥️
Thats a great tip, thank you
Yes very helpful
Thank you
You're welcome!
I’m with you on the mass producing thing. I spent two hours making one card and then I don’t wanna give it away and wish I had made more. I’m gonna start using your technique. Thanks for sharing
Haha!!! I’m so glad to be in good company. Let me know how it goes! 😘
I love that template, thanks!
You’re welcome! ☺️
This is a cool idea to mass produce cards! But you also just confirmed my belief about TH stamp positioner defect: it is flawed, and so not like the MISTI... TFS!
Thanks for the kind words. I truly love my stamp positioners--the open end of it allows for many sizes of paper. I do love it though that everyone has different tastes and opinions on what they like or dislike. It's what makes the world go around! Thanks for watching. :)
I mass produce but I love your tip!
Glad it hells! Thanks for watching! ♥️
Thanks for sharing this idea! I'll soon be making Christmas cards for my husband's MASSIVE family and this will help a LOT.
You are so welcome! I plan on using it, too for Christmas cards. Thank you for your kind comment! :)
I have to admit, I was a little confused in the beginning BUT you explained why & how to use the laminated template. Genius!!! (And I have the same issue not only not wanting to give away the 1 card I’ve made but I have an issue using my pretty paper too! I usually make 1 card at a time but I’m going to make a template & mass produce after all, Christmas is coming very soon so this will help a lot! Thanks so much!!!)
So glad you found it helpful! Thanks for watching! ♥️
That is such a good idea! Thank you for sharing. Can’t wait to make a template and try the technique!!
Glad it was helpful!
What a great tutorial!
I like the idea of laminating the template.
And also the mass producing. I do this at Christmas but why not always!?
TFS!
💛TR
Agreed! Have fun and thanks for the comment! :)
An hour on one card?! How about 3-5 hours sometimes! Or starting it and continuing the next day? And I have an idea - if you make a template we can download it! ; ) Thanks for your video and good idea.
Great idea! I, too, have a really hard time parting with my ‘favorites’. May I ask what brand is your paper trimmer?
You bet! This is the one I use: Fiskars 01-005452 Recycled Bypass Trimmer, 12 Inch www.amazon.com/dp/B003SLAAOO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_0ribFb18FEF9T
Kathya Kalinine Thanks!
Love the stamps is there a link that I can click on to buy the stamp please 🙏?
Here's the link to the Catherine Pooler stamp: www.ellenhutson.com/catherine-pooler-clear-stamps-grateful-heart/
Here's the link to the Pinkfresh Studios stamp: www.pinkfreshstudio.com/collections/all-stamps-and-dies/products/folk-mandala-stamp-set
I would love to mass produce but I don’t have enough experience to do it
I'm just the opposite. When I make mistake I will keep as sample with measurements. All good ones get sent
Kathya, where can I find your template for mass producing cards that I can download? Thank You
Hi Pam! I can’t seem to find the digital version of it, but I can easily recreate it. Send me an email and I’ll send it to you when I reply. 😊
Fantastic hack!! Also, what is the name of this beautiful mandala, maker, and if you have a link? I’ve just subscribed and look forward to future videos. Tx
Thanks so much! The stamp set I’m using in the video is called Folk Mandala by Pinkfresh Studio. I can’t find it any longer on the website, but you might be successful on Etsy. Sometimes stampers resell their stamps due to purging or to make way for more newer stamps. Hope this helps!
@@KathyaKalinine I found the Floral Mandala at Frantic Stampers! I’ve ordered it, and if others are looking for it, try there. Thank you so much for helping me! Danielle
Wonderful news! Thank you for sharing this! ♥️
Can you write the measurements down for your templete?
You bet! I will pin this in the comments but here are the measurements: Start with one sheet of card stock that measures 8 and a half inches by 11 inches. Then, create a vertical line down the center at 4.25 inches. Then across the middle at 5.5 Inches. This will create a center 'cross.' Then, using your ruler, create a 1/8th inch border around the entire piece of card stock. Then, on either side of the center cross point, create 1/8th inch borders on both sides. Last, create an X through each quadrant from one corner to the other corner. I hope this helps. If it doesn't, let me know and I can create a PDF template for download if you would find that more helpful.
Kathya Kalinine well that would be awesome then I could print iit 👍
@@KathyaKalinine did you post a PDF Template to download? Thanks...
You must have a math degree or just be math minded. You are so smart. LOL
