2 Ways: Stamped Backgrounds with Simon's May 2022 Card Kit

One of the most fun ways to use individual images from a stamp set is to piece them together to make custom backgrounds! You can play with the layout, the colors, and really create some one of a kind cards. In this video, I will be using Simon Says Stamp's May 2022 Card Kit, Brushed Flowers.

I like the pink and purple one the best! Nice and dramatic! Seems like a lot of cards are mostly white so I like when I see more colorful ones.

I love both cards, but like the techniques in the second card!
Both cards are so vibrant and fun! I was first drawn to the boldness of the emboss resist but when watching your video, I was really loving the bold colors in the first one. It's a tie!

Love those yummy colors! My favorite is the first card with the bright spring look to it. I think I would have made the circle a little smaller to preserve more of those beautiful flowers.

Beautiful cards Nina, both of them. Especially love the first card with all of the bright colors. But the second card, doing emboss resist over colored cardstock, wow!! That turned out really nice! Love both of these, but that emboss resist is just stunning!
Love the colour you created with the blue ink on pink cardstock over clear resist flowers. (I think you can purchase the ink cubes separately.) TFS! ❤️🇨🇦
The ink cubes that are part of this kit are not available for purchase separately, but you can get the full-sized pads!

Both are beautiful. But I love the second technique,I make a few cards with that technique, the colors are wonderful ❤️✨
Both cards are beautiful, but if I had to pick a favorite I’d go with the emboss resist card. Love the deep colors of that card and the finishing touches of the white gel pen and Nuvo drops just finish it off beautifully. Thanks for sharing! 💜
