Being OBC member, I am not in favor or against the reservation matter. But I would 100% guarantee that if reservation is increased more than 60% by which ever government, I wont accept it at all because that government will be responsible for making our country like Iraq or Syria. Because initially, these country's gov/dictator proved fatal to country and then there was interference of West. China/Pak are waiting for this situation only of India for our internal conflicts as well as our Brain drain. Now the ball is under hand of people and government.
That’s why I have given up Indian citizenship to become UNited States 🇺🇸 citizen

Total nearly 65% seats in govt colleges are reserved( excluding female reservation)... how much more reservation do you want?
Then make it 100% and reservation and tell generals not to participate in any exam or anything. Reservation is no more equal opportunity for all, as the general people suffer the most for it.
Did you know the meaning of representation proportional to the population composition?
Visit rural areas of uttarpradesh l , Bihar , Rajasthan and u will come to know why it is important🙃🙃..... although we need a better way to classify that who should be in these backward categories....

The most important question is has reservation served its purpose? Has reservation decreased casteism and caste based discrimination? Or just caused talent drain from India and made inefficients sitting in chairs of merit!

Brain drain is Inc. Bcus of lack of high paying jobs and mehengai not reservation . Caste based discrimination is still prevalent in tier 2 cities and lower tier cities
To stop reservation , give guarantees to education for ALL equally and abolish castism from India .
The purpose of reservation was never to end discrimination it was for empowerment for elections.
I got 83 percentage and got a college through cap but paid 80k fees . In my class also sc cast boy who got 60 percentage got a seat
He paid 2k fees and got 40k scolership by doing nothing but just filling a form. My family can't even afford to teach me but they did it.
I feel you brother same happened to me , I didn't get the college I wanted even though my number was same as the St boy who got the seat . He came in a fortuner while me can't even afford a new book to study
Koi na Bharat me Aisa hi hota hai, Pura India hi Anti Meritocracy, anti Aristotle hai, phir kar bhi kya sakte hai.
Mere paas to jis din paise uss din India ko hamesha ke liye chhodkar koi dusri country chala jauga, jaha Meritocracy ki respect ki jati ho.
Vote bank k liye khud politicians ne ye devide create Kiya hai. Warna alg alg jati ke naam pr vote kaise lenge. General k pas majburi hai kyu k uska koi vote bank nhi..na uski koi sunne wala .

भारत 700 सालों से मुगलों का गुलाम रहा 200 सालों से अंग्रेजों का 70 सालों से संविधान का राज है इससे पहले भी तथाकथित जितने भी राजे महाराजे थे वह बौद्ध ही थे फिर भी कुछ लोगों को पता नहीं कौन से हजार साल की गुलामी याद आ जाती है ।

Its unfair for general category students. They need both high marks and high fee for filling out a form. Sometimes student not even able to fill the forms because of money even they have high marks and full filling the eligibility criteria

Reservation is the only big hurdle or stopping Bharat from becoming a developed country. Already a lot of damage has been done. I think it's time to remove this reservation completely from our system.

Hopefully by 2047 , Reservation is abolished,till then there should be targeted reservation till 2047 , need for creamy layer in sc and st , and also upto 2 times reservation can be availed in person's life .
Its an enequlity facing by sc st category in Rajsthan many people is not ready taking tea and sitting, eating with backward categary than how it will possible that after ending reservation backward people stand with general people its mandatory to continue this for some more time

But that's just impractical. A better approach is to study the reason behind the so-called lower caste cutoffs being low despite reservation in proportion to the population. As per my knowledge, it's mainly due to lack of education, educational awareness, resources, and guidance in those communities. If we can provide that, then there won't be any need for reservation.
These could be achieved through proper execution of government welfare schemes and awareness campaigns.

I m a jee student and i got 13000 rank in jee advanced but i was not able to take admission in any iits but my friend who is st and he also get rank around 13000 but he got a good iits and good branch

Population control law and stopping reservation are most needed things for India but polical parties are not willing and not able to do this.Also majority of Indian are not enough wise to understand and support this. Indira gandhi was only prime minister who dare to bring law for population control but people of India thrown her out of power, after that no party have enough courage to do this kind of decisions. People are not enough wise to understand what is good for country selfishness comes first for them, but ultimately they suffering because of this.

In this year's 2023 seat allotment for mbbs in my state, there were students who were barely passing in NEET UG yet getting a seat in best colleges in my state (scoring around 200-350 out of 720) due to reservation whereas for the same top colleges the open category cut off was 570+. Reduction, if not removal of number of reserved seats is required. There are just so many reservations *at every step*

I am in OBC and one of my friend is in SC. In 2012 We both took admission in private engineering college, my family paid 50k every year and friends family paid around 3-5k every year. main thing is that my friend have 4 time more land than me. My family spend almost all income on my education by sacrifice there dreams and compromised living standard. However now I am at good position to full family wishes.

There are two students one got 70% and one got 80%, the one who got 70% marks his father is in govt job so he can pay lakhs of fees but because of sc,st cast he is getting free education, job, on the contrary students who get 80% have to pay his fees. Even though there is no capacity, only the cast is open, so one has to pay the full fee, as a result, some students do not pursue the education of their choice or miss out on that opportunity.
Every general student should go abroad and serve those countries until they get justice.
