Agree with Mr. Pai 100%. I am a senior citizen aged 67 years subject to Income tax. While my income from pension and other resources is almost constant, my tax liabilities have almost doubled. Insurance Premium on health policy has increased by 100% AND gst 18% is applicable. My whole income is eaten by Income tax, insurance premium and medical expenses. Why can't FM and PM think of ease of life for common citizens ????

I am feeling ashamed of supporting MODI for the last 2 decades. Here we have an insensitive / incompetent finance minister who has no idea of what a middle class life is ( She may also claim to be from middle class). She belongs to a special category where wives and Husbands project diametrically opposite political philosophies and flourish. I have been struggling to understand the format of AIS which looks more like Algebra. The best example of how to make a simple form into most complex , I am unable to decipher AIS which keeps on updating till....? Form 16 was issued only one month ago , my auditor is in another city ( for job purpose i had to shift to another place). For the last 3 decades i have been trying to understand what is accured interest on FDs & why TDS has to be paid on unpaid interest 🤔 Refusal by IT Dept to extend the Last Date for IT filing is the last straw on my back.
Finally someone has got the guts to speak up even if someone had that they were silenced and laughed in many shows and interviews, I once watched and an interview of the finance minister where she was asked about the taxes in buying and selling on shares she just got away by saying I am just a sleeping partner and cannot do anything... Honestly, Im 49 years old and i agree i should step away from salaried life and give way to youngsters. I quit my job and started a company. But in India , we dont have a database of manufacturers. As of today, only private companies has this data base. Im not able to find makers and im running across 4 states tamilnadu , karnataka, Andhra and Telangana as my product is custom made. Government of India should come out with a database of all the manufacturers / producers across Industries. It should be available to those who wish to start business. this should span across Industries like Textile, Food processing, Warehouse, capital goods, electronics. One nation , a common database open to public on the suppliers/producers/manufacturers across industry across all states of India. Unless we create more business, it is difficult to keep indian population employed. It is very difficult to get the maker or the supplier details n India and this is where China is overtaking us.

Agree with Mr. Pai 100%. I am a senior citizen aged 67 years subject to Income tax. While my income from pension and other resources is almost constant, my tax liabilities have almost doubled. Insurance Premium on health policy has increased by 100% AND gst 18% is applicable. My whole income is eaten by Income tax, insurance premium and medical expenses. Why can't FM and PM think of ease of life for common citizens ????

Honestly, Im 49 years old and i agree i should step away from salaried life and give way to youngsters. I quit my job and started a company. But in India , we dont have a database of manufacturers. As of today, only private companies has this data base. Im not able to find makers and im running across 4 states tamilnadu , karnataka, Andhra and Telangana as my product is custom made.
Government of India should come out with a database of all the manufacturers / producers across Industries. It should be available to those who wish to start business. this should span across Industries like Textile, Food processing, Warehouse, capital goods, electronics.
One nation , a common database open to public on the suppliers/producers/manufacturers across industry across all states of India.
Unless we create more business, it is difficult to keep indian population employed.
It is very difficult to get the maker or the supplier details n India and this is where China is overtaking us.
