We had nightmare builders in to do a bathroom. The plasterboard behind the shower ran out by an inch and a quarter. When I complained he said " old house mate, your walls are out". When we got rid of them and ripped they're boards off they'd only used 3 dabs per board and they were dabbing the back of the boards, so one one board only two dabs were touching the wall.
Thanks for showing and explaining that Be doing something like this soon but on painted brick, ever had to deal with that? Don't fancy wire brushing the paint off but will if i have to It's an old solid english bond external wall, should I do anything about damp? Any help appreciated! Cheers, keep up the good work
If there is damp i wouldent dot and dab it m8. Yea pva the wall then when it sets put 5 or 6 hammer fixing into the board were the dabs are to hold it tight.
Thank you for the vid really helpful! I'm going to give the dot and dab a go and then get someone in to skim it after. What plasterboard is that your using? There's so many online to choose from.

Hi, I have dot and dab the party wall in my house between the neighbours and it seems to of helped slightly with sound but I hear it’s a bad idea for noise, any thoughts in your opinion? Thanks
If it helped then happy days but you could dab some acoustic board witch would be better but to stop the noise you really need layers with acoustic board and acoustic insulation between.

😂😂 looks like he cut the taped edges off 😂😂
Can we use it for outdoor brick wall?
No good for outside you would need to use a system like rockwool and sto fir outside.
Good day
Does this process insulate
I have a three season uninsulated brick room. I live in Michigan and it gets cold in winter
Thank you
Yea you can get the plasterboard with the insulation on it and you can dab that to the wall as long as the wall is dry.
