Thank you for sharing. My mother was approved for MAID and passed 3 days ago. She was my best friend. She had also feared cancer for years and my little sister worried obsessively that my mom would get sick and go to heaven. So at the age of 47, the doctor found a spot on her lung, passed it off as scar tissue, and nothing to worry about. This was June of last year. She died at 48, with all of her close family around and in her bed. The worst feeling came over me, as you explained I felt torn. I started grieving months ago when I found out my mother had cancer, and now I’m in the first chapter of grieving her death. It is the hardest thing I’ve had to do, and all by myself. I am taking care of everything and it’s so overwhelming for me.

My mother was surrounded by her children - my mother asked us and we all supported her…….it was such a beautiful death - I am totally on board with MAID ……. We let her go joyfully I miss her soooooo much but she’s not suffering any longer It’s all good I also recommend grief counselling for everyone……..I lost both parents within a month - I was there with them both dad in hospital and mom at home……I believe in dying with dignity and love …..

A Person death time is fixed even if they don’t take MAID they will die on that fixed time.a person can not choose his time of death but they choose how they die.I wish I could tell these people that if you are suffering from an illness,it is erasing all your sins and preparing you to Face your God clean. And their kids by taking care of their parents are getting High status in paradise.that is what Islam says that even a pinch type of pain removes your sins and we just need to return to ALLAH.
