I love the info I pick up here, (though I know I'm not your target audience) but I have a question, more geared towards women's professional looks and what could be considered casual or professional while wearing a suit.
Do the same rules still apply to women as far as professional and casual goes?
Is it good or bad for women to wear suits compared to a dress?
I'm studying best treatment for sweating and discovered an awesome resource at Mikes Sweat Blog (look it up on google)
Lovely Video clip! Forgive me for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you thought about - Franaar Fresh Feeling Formula (probably on Google)? It is an awesome exclusive product for Eliminating Excessive Sweating Forever without the hard work. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my m8 finally got astronomical success with it.
There are several components to reducing sweating naturally . One plan I found that succeeds in merging these is the Mikes Sweat Blog (check it out on google) without a doubt the best plan that I have ever seen. look at the interesting information .✌
I find that wearing linen with a heavier weight but a more open weave is the best. Linen pants can feel better than shorts when you feel the air pass through. Great tips, Antonio!
Tip #10: Don't live in a humid hellhole like Mumbai
I can undertand, in the zone of Italy where I live there's one of the most humid climates in europe
Or Florida
I live in Karachi, I can understand your pain.
@@giovannigobbi4832 Italy's hot only when you stand under the sun. If you get to shade it''ll be cool. Thats not the case in India.
@@ArunSKasrk Trust me when I tell you that, you may have visited Italy, but in the region where I live, it's also hot under a shadow
Thanks for the hard work, Antonio. You're actually making the world a better place.

1) Have NO hot drinks
2) Before you step out of the shower, cool down the water temperature gradually. Spend as much time as you can in the coolest water you can. It will keep you cool.
3) Avoid Hot drinks - say it twice its that important:)
In terms of hot drinks, you mainly need to avoid caffeinated drinks. For me personally, when I drink coffee it makes me quite warm compared to other drinks like hot chocolate.
I bought a summer suit from Brooks Brothers in mid-blue a few years ago and did not appreciate its quality or usefulness in summer (June/July/Aug in NYC) until recently. Summer weight wool is even more comfortable than cotton in summer, and linen is too casual for my work. As Antonio points out a lightweight breathable fabric shirt, underwear, and open knot summer socks all contribute. Great video RMRS.
I was just thinking about this subject yesterday and I wake up this morning and there it is. Perfect timing, thanks.
Thanks, Antonio. Your videos are always practical and informative on much-needed topics.
Excellent presentation and well thought out!
These new styles of videos are so 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I am so grateful for Thomson Tees! The suit tips are MUCH appreciated here in FL. Thank you!
Thanks. Needed this
Finally a video on this topic. Thanks Antonio
Glad this is useful for you Rushil. What's your go-to outfit in summer?

Seriously can’t believe this man just gives this information out for free. Saving my life here. 25 going on 26 and I’m finally learning how to dress myself. Thank you sir 🙏🏼 you are a true gentleman and a scholar
Timely advice. It's been brutally hot here in Toronto. Thanks, Antonio!
Great tips. 👍
Great video
By the way. I have those Thompson Tee's. They are a life saver. I recommend getting one as close to your skin color as possible.
Was on my way to the tailor so thought of taking screenshots here to explain the lining stuff easily. Thanks alot
It's probably a video that I haven't asked for but something that I'm interested for. Even better is the fact that it's a high quality video from RMRS
Loving the vest look in general. Actually I at times wear a vest with a blazer (making sure it's from the same suit) & love how it goes too. Any more tips or a video on wearing vests as well as vest do's & don'ts ?
Real men, real style and real nutrition.
Dude, excellent video. Going to buy those undershirts right now.
Tip #11: If for some reason there is not strong air conditioning throughout your home, car, and place of business, change it!!
Thanks sir 😍
This reminds me of my time in the Corps. We would spray scotch guard in the inside of our shirts and in the hot sun we could feel the sweat run down our body but no sweat on the outside of the shirt. I know a guy that cut off the sleeves of his shirt and had then sewn into the sleeves of his blouse. He made a dickie out of his collar. No one was the wiser. Improvise, Adapt, and Over Come.
Antonio,
Appreciate the video! Definitely useful information.
I do want to add something in reference to armpits, I would recommend powder deodorant versus gel deodorant.
Great video!
Thanks,
Mike
Sweating can be a big issue, it affects the impression that one casts on the other.
Keep up the good work, Antonio!
Exactly! Thanks for tuning in Satyen. How do you stay cool when wearing a suit?
@@RealMenRealStyle I usually wear quarter-lined jackets. I always prefer cotton, and light colours. This video gave me some extra tips! Thank you for that!
Having light neckware is also a good one. I at times have to wear a necktie and having one with a lighter material does the job.
Since I'm just starting our, having those un-lined or semi-lined jackets isn't an option but I keep the button open and wear an undershirt with a breathable fabric and the same for my shirt.
I like linen blends and cotton wool blends. I have a linen/wool and a cotton silk blend. Breathable but keeps it form
I am so happy you are hitting on the summer stuff. Singapore is a bear year-round. Big Anthony, I've two questions:
1) I've got a fully lined dress jacket and did not have you in my sights way back when I was stupid. What are your thoughts about having the inner lining completely removed?
2) Off video-topic but, I'm traveling back to the US, end of August. Do you know when the summer clothing closeouts/sales typically begin?
Thanks
In Austin, Texas, this is year-round dress.
The Dove Men soap has menthol in it. It is very refreshing to use a soap with menthol. A little surprising when you aren't expecting it though, haha.
Although they're pretty obscure in this day and age, detachable collars on dress shirts may be good for the summer, as one can remove either the front stud or the entire collar as a means of cooling off.
You may have already done this, but a video on how to properly care for a suit/ jacket would be super helpfull.
Thank you for these amazing tips, unfortunately for now I just have one loafer :/ but I rotate using swede sneakers :D
Off topic, but really wanted to ask:
Hi Antonio, I recently bought my first denim jacket. The nights here in LA get a little chilly sometimes, but it's also summer. Lighter colors more suitable for summer don't look good on me; so I got an olive green denim jacket. It fits me extremely well. But I'm not sure if that's a good color for a jean jacket. I like the look and fit. But is it versatile? Can I wear it all year round? Thanks in advance.
Hi Antonio, I live in SFL were heat and humidity are a challenge. What short sleeve polo shirt brands have a nice collar, look sharp, and go well with jackets?
Great quick tips. I am going to try the tee shirt company you recommend. I wear suits 85 % of the time, so I'm always looking for a way to cheat the heat.
Sounds great Raf :)
Had to LOL at about 10:15 where you say foods with a lot of fats, carbs or protein when those three macronutrients are ALL foods. It doesn't diminish the rest of the video at all but it was kinda funny. 💪🏻👔👍🏻
How dumb is this comment.... Some( many) foods have higher amounts of fats, carbs, protein... Which he stated....
If you actually follow macros, you would know this is like 101...
I can't believe how stupid this comment is....
@@Yes-ml4bw Ooooh sorry Karen. Didn't mean to offend your OBVIOUSLY sensitive fee-fees.
Grow the fuck up.
I need a Thompson t shirt but for back sweat
Same. I don't understand why that company doesn't make a version that covers more area other than the armpits. I guess we could expect one in the future, though.
@@mat2468xk I've been waiting for like 3 or 4 years now
Antonio, you mentioned hats. Where is a good place to get them on the Canadian prairies?
Thanks for that unbuttoning rule/permission! I dance socially and enjoy wearing a jacket, but just can't keep it buttoned and stay cool-ish at the same time :)
Although I love the idea of looking sharp even in very hot climate. But I think even the cleverest choice of jacket and shirt won't stop you from sweating your balls of in 35-40 degree Celcius like we currently have in germany.
Cheers.
Cheers Antonio hot summer hacks 🤘😎👍
Hey Riz - thanks for checking it out :) which tip is your favorite?
@@RealMenRealStyle getting the right shirt.
I read somewhere that not buttoning the last button had to do with some fat king or ruler who couldn't close his last button so it got a trend. I don't see an issue when you have all buttons buttoned. I find it having an extra edge.
Great video Antonio, we've had a really hot summer in Denmark so this is exactly what I needed!
hello What brand are The Black lovers with the golden Horus bit?
How long does the Thompson Tee discount code last? Is it just twenty-four hours?
This is good bc I live in Vegas
I would be interested in your thoughts on carrying a concealed weapon while wearing a suit. Should you have the suit cut to accommodate the gun and holster or is there another option?
Yes most definitely mr wick
Thanks for the food tip, I do this when I eat hamburgers in the summer.
Okay, it's official, I got to get a light color suit...or at least a blazer.
When it's hot out I just go to meetings in my birthday suit, no sweating!
Haha!
Actually sir, you are the first comment. Congratulations sir
Hello from Russia 🙂
Hey do you have the link for the menthol soap?
I started working as a security in November. They provided our uniforms, 2 white shirts, 2 navy blue pants 1 navy blue coat. They're really strict on uniforms and want our uniform to be clean. I recently asked my company to give me 3 more white shirts cause when it starts to get hot, I sweat from my neck and with only 2 shirts they give me, I'm definitely going to have sweat stains on my shirts on my 3rd of work 😅
Hi Antonio....we need a video on shades man (sun glasses).
just wear shades you love to wear, I have many shades, but I wear the most Gargoyles, purchased them in 1990, they look great, wore em when they got out of fashion and are back again. Shades need also fit the personality and your face. If you love a certain brand it shows.I never look what other people wear or not. I just need to be me.
@@Pfirtzer love it
@@You-are-right-but He's got a video about some sunglasses I think...
@@VigilantAnarchism thanks!
Help! I can't seem to find any menthol soap
I wander into an air conditioned space every now and again. Wear a suit early in the morning before the day heats up. Drink hot tea - it cools you down by causing a 'pleasant' sweat. Splash cold water on your face. Wet your hair in the shower before going out, comb and let the sun dry it out. Wear sunglasses to ease glare and look in control. Carry essentials. Use a document holder to carry your mobile phone. Shirt collars suffer the most when a neck tie is worn in warm weather. Therefore wash your neck area well beforehand. Wear a less formal but lighter satin neck tie.
Practical and easy. Thanks Roger.
I'm early
What's gonna make you hot? Foods with a lot of fat, carbohydrates and protein. LOLOL. So.... literally all food. Those are the 3 major macronutrients.
First Comment!!! 😊
Are you sure?
Yep urs is pinned to top 😉
@@RealMenRealStyle Thanks For the Reply😊
I have to let you know about a great product that gave me such relief after years of worrying about rings under the armpits, as I have had Hyperdydrosis all of my life. The product is called Drysol, and you apply it nightly, until the sweating just goes away. It solved years of agony, I still sweat, but it is nowhere as noticeable as under the arms.
Jonathan Smith i have tried it, and it really works, it stopped my sweat from armpits. However, i stopped using it, because i do not know what kind of negative effects could not sweating cause.
@@jancarloloza3793 Hi, Jancarlo. Don't worry. Drysol is perfectly fine to use, just not all over your body. But, the armpits are the most noticeable, so it was a saviour for me, as I am in the entertainment industry, and am always wearing a sport coat. The rest of your body will compensate for your armpits and produce enough [perspiration to keep you cooled. Your feet actually produce the most sweat. Now the top of my head and brow have also always produced a lot of moisture, and I occasionally even apply Drysol there, with no adverse or side effects. Having a compact portable fan can be effective in some circumstances for that, and can provide a person with a little more security. The question always is, "What comes firs, panic or sweat? When you panic, you sweat. And, when you sweat, you panic" I have also found having small doses of Theanine to help with panic/anxiety and sweating.Having those kinds of afflictions can sometimes be very debilitating. I have found, over the years, that everyone has some kind of burden, whether physical, emotional, or mental. Just look at President Donald Gump.(lol!)
Jonathan Smith thanks for taking the time. Have a good day.
I almost only wear tropical wool suits even on winters because I love how light weight it is
How do you combine it in winter?
Real Men Real Style I usually wear a overcoat and a knit tie and the wool pants usually gets thicker when it’s cool so they get a bit warmer.
And then I might wear a no arms sweater
I'm here early hehehehe

What °c is hot in your place? In my country regular temperature is around 30°c. I live in Bangladesh.
@@senseweaver01 The average temperatures in Australia is nowhere near 35, regardless of where you live.

Here in the noreast Argentina, the regular temperature during summer goes around 35 degrees. In worst case scenario, we also get 100% humidity and ACs become a must.
6:17 i'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with casually hanging your jacket over your chair. i'm even surprised that a sartorial expert like you would suggest this, antonio. you know it's going to potentially distort the shape of the jacket if you hang it over your chair for too long...
it's a bad fate to wear suits as uniform in hot regions of India.
in books we read about cotton clothes to be woren during hot but practically we fail to follow what we have read in books even educational institutions

What's the most breathable fabric?
Linen.

Antonio, how to let someone know that he/she stinks because of sweating without offending a person?
You don't
It's so rude
During my puberty years I used to sweat a lot, especially on my face
And people always pointed it to me, and i felt so bad i was afraid of being around people in the summer.
I know if i'm sweating or not, there's no need to tell it to me
If someone stinks because of the sweat he knows, as long as you can smell it, he can smell it as well, if you tell a person he stinks, no matter how nice you say it, you are going to ruin that person's day
