I like that Dark Horse interior
I like the dark horse. I love the dual throttle bodies. I love that it is track inspired. I like cars that can do everything. I dont need to be the fastest. I like a car that is like james bond inspired that will get it done in every scenario. But i liked Jake's fox way better. It was seriously one of the best foxbodies around. If i were him i would have kept it and coyote swapped it and did the irs. That would have made his fox over the top. No drivability issues. My budget is smaller. I went big block 460. Kept it in the 450 to 500 hp range to make sure i had no drivability issues. Its set up for road trips and autocross and track. May change to irs in the future. But want to stay low like infamous project. Handles better.

The issue I have with the new mustangs is: they cater to track folks and said F the drag strip crew. You can opt for a track pack but no drag strip items. Plus, when ford does give more horsepower, they tend to increase the weight of the car. A 500hp car in a 3000lb body would be nice.
I'm not sure if Ford's obsession with track cars is because they wanna stay away from the tuning drag strip crowd because of the EPA? The GT500 could've been so much better if it were purely drag focused instead of being weighed down with all the track stuff. Making the GT500 a track car when GT350 exists makes no sense.

It is a NO for me on the Dark Horse. There are many reasons why I say that. Perhaps in 30 years, I may choose differently.
That dark horse looks like a ZL1 or a hellcat. Pretty uninspiring.
I think its funny how they made decklid body color now everybody will do blacked out decklids again when they came stock like that guys would switch to body color decklid lol. They do this trying to make it look more different really its just 05-12 styling again. This literally rides an an s550 chassis its an s550 2.0. It is the most disappointing all new mustang ever made by far. Does it perform ok sure but not any better than what weve been seeing since 2018 might even be slower. Not only that its locked down. I dont get why everyone keeps trying to make these something special which theyre clearly not. 67k is stupid. The gt350 eats cars on the track. This car does nothing special that aint been done for the last 10 years. Its the definition of lame. Im a ford guy but these aint it.
The dual throttle body is a joke does 0 for performance its all about emissions. People arent gonna be doing any turbo builds anytime soon if ever tuning is not available they just keep assuming its gonna be available when are guys gonna wake up and smell the roses? They have ford approved tunes like whipple and shit theyre lazy compared to real tunes and tuning aint available for twin turbo builds. I see guys getting turbos installed now what are they gonna do go stand alone? Is it even possible on these with them being as integrated as they are. Im not so sure.
Stand-alone control packs are always an option. It's just a matter of how much money you're willing to spend to make it work. Look at all the people that went stand alone on the C8 because nobody could crack ecu.
