Evil, How you Liking your 2018 CRV. DIL looking to buy a Used one. An EX-L model with 16K miles on it (must have been a Church Lady Car?), for $29,000 !! Used car Prices are out of this world. Are you experiencing the Gas mixing into the Oil issue that I see on the Web for models with the 1.5 T engine?

@@Julie-jq1sy i liked the ride better on the santa fe and the interior.But since i like to tow the santa fe has 3500 max rated towing while the honda has 1500 pounds max rated towing.But the honda has a better combined mpg .You can't go wrong with both.Its just comes down to preference.
@@RideRedFred Thanks much for the reply. Super impressed by that Max tow capacity. Helps when friends need to move. I've driven both Toyota Corrolla and the Honda vehicles, there gas mileage really helps if a driver know their vehicle well. The Hondas have slightly less trips to the gas pumps. True there. But I've been looking at these two models and like them both. Looked at Dodges for a complete different experiences but their MPG just drops to much for wide cities or long commutes. Thanks very much.

I find it cool that some international versions have usable third row seating options for 7 total passengers. The Honda CRV really is a perfectly well rounded reliable family mobile
yes but it is specially made for kids / teenager. there isn't much space back there

Love these reviews - got hooked when I was shopping for a new car last year and now I watch for the entertainment value! BTW, not mentioning the Subaru Forester as a worthy competitor to the CR-V was a minor disservice to viewers. Yeah, I went from Honda Accord to Subaru Legacy last year.

Thank you for showing the back seats recline back (reasonably)!! I own the 2017 and didn't know they recline lol. Went to my garage to check after watching this video ...you were right! Also the extra secret storage in the door ...bonus :). I've had my new car for 3 days now and love it. EX-L model.

My 2019 CRV is my second CRV, and my third Honda vehicle. My previous CRV was a 2004, and I loved it. This new one is awesome, it's so high tech compared to my old one, needless to say. I highly recommend this vehicle.
What can you say about the oil problem for crv 2019 touring. How true it is.
I bought a 2018 Touring for my wife just a month ago. It had 8k miles on it when we picked it up. It's like new, drives even better and the best decision we could have made. Opalescent Pearl.

Almost a year with my 2018 & I love it! (: lol funny part is that I didn't know there was different versions so I have the base model but I still love it 2nd car ever & I'm barely 22😌💯🔥
I don't have children but kudos to you to show child seats and the actual fitment of a kid in there! I think that seals the deal for anyone looking for a family vehicle. Not to mention she's just too cute! I'm sure our dogs will fit in there just fine too :).
Can't wait to purchase mine! My 2004 CR-V has served its purpose (160,000 miles) and I'm excited to upgrade to the 2018 model.

I wish all car reviews would include real world test of actual MPG attained. Alex on Autos is the reviewer of record, in my opinion, because he is the most logical and lists all of the technical categories measured, including MPG in the real world, not in the fantasy world of window stickers.
Zack usually does, not sure why Micah's doesn't.
Christopher Calder real world mpg for CR-V in city is 21 ish. you can google it. there is a post on crv forums that is titled "so i am not the only one to get less than EPA". its a small turbo: mpg of a V6 unless you drive like a grandma, and reliability of turbo.

Just a few issues, the ACC, LKA and Braking tend to give false errors, all lights go on saying error messages, turns off every Honda Assist function. Solution is to turn off the car and restart, happened about 3 times, in 6 months, typically in odd terrain like going up a mountain or solid line issues seem to trigger this. Also usb cable error when using Android Auto, fix is to hold down the volume knob for 10 seconds to reboot head unit, works after that.
If your TALKING ABOUT THE HONDA CRV...I agree. There are some electrical gremlins notably the android phone hook up..lag in doing. There are also pre warning indications in my crv(i have the 2019 ex awd). Start-up is good, drive is good, left out for a couple of days, it starts up fine. It is just the electronics, the cvt transmission works great,performance is adequate for a 1.5 liter 4.
I'd like to find out who at Kelley Blue Book gets the rain going like that in Southern California on your videos, witchcraft!!

I really like that this has LED headlights
You can get LED kits for non-LED headlights now. There's one for the 2016 CRV, for example, which didn't have LED headlights standard.
Actually cheaper than getting them factory installed on newer vehicles, too, if you didn't want to go up a trim level just for LEDs.
I did notice the front directional are hard to see on the road. other companies shut off the drl to make it more visible

I'm in the market now for a new suv and would love the Honda but here in the UK they don't have diesel this year only have 1.5 petrol or hybrid therefore I'm probably going for the Volvo xc60 instead....

This Honda is perfect for the city. Enough space to through backpacks in for a mountain hike or Beach fun. I like how the Dash and front screen looks if your just kick back at a Park or Taco Bell drive through playing with the electronics. Those drive throughs are getting longer these days.
what the heck does predictable mean? It wasn't until I listened to the 2017 Mazda CX-5 review that I got a sense that the CR-V was probably better at acceleration than most crossovers. To me, when it comes to crossover acceleration, predictable means poor.
Why didn't you compare to the Subaru Forester. How is the AWD in the CRv to the Subaru Forester?
The subaru forrester has a BETTER AWD SYSTEM..It is a more HEAVY DUTY SYSTEM.

We've had our 2017 EX for just over 2 years now with nary a problem. Coming from a Mercedes ML350, I will say that the noise from the engine and the road is much more noticeable in the cabin and it's not the fastest vehicle on the road. Those shortcomings are very minor and very much forgivable. After all, it's not a high priced luxury vehicle. It does what it's supposed to do and does it quite well. I recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, good looking and highly reliable SUV. We're planning to keep ours for many more years.
I really like the exterior design, except for the stupid indictore/turn signals.
The turn signals are too small
The Asian model is available in 1.6 Earth Dreams i-DTEC turbodiesel engine and with 3rd row passenger seating, and in 9-speed AT push button gear selector instead of the conventional gear shift lever.

Have you looked into the oil dilution concerns being discussed regarding the CRV and Civic? Any thoughts? There is a recall in China and Canada is looking into it. The US seems to be taking a "wait and see" approach.
@Brent Matthew I saw that CNN actually had an article about this issue just today.
Honda has a major problem on its hands with the lack of response to fuel dilution.

the crazy thing of the CRV, the seats are more confortable that the seats of the 2018 honda Pilot.
