I never heard of All That Remains. I see Phil on Timcast IRL I watch Timcast every night and just became a member. I'm 76 yrs and son of great RockNRoll and Folk Music of the 60s and 70s, and I just brushed the Heavy Metal era off as some crazy shit.
I heard Phil always introduce himself as lead singer of All That Remains, which I never heard of. Tonight Phil is on Timcast and I decided to check out All That Remains, and WOW, this is some great music and great Musicians and Singers! I'm going to check out all their work!
Great thing about coming in late... I get to check out all of their work at once! Kinda like you never heard of a TV series and you're like, super, I get to binge watch all 5 seasons. Bad part ... I almost get no sleep!

This is just sad. All our favorite bands that we grew up listening to as a kid are growing old with us. The lyrics are deep and it reminded of my deceased sister who passed away in the month of December.

Don't get me wrong, i absolutely love me some heavy and some filth, but i absolutely love it when metal guys slow it down for a minute and put their cleans to work like this, they've got such great singing voices and that mixed with the emotion and thoughtfulness inherent in metal/metalcore and you get some absolutely amazing pieces of music like this. It also serves as a good jumping on point for people just getting into the genre but can't quite listen to the heavy all that remains we all know and love just yet.

Danny is good solo indeed asking Alexandria has it's own vibe but not to keen on the duet, with that being said I do enjoy music by both bands and artists.
This feels like it could be moving on part 2 for Danny. Gave me that kind of vibe with his parts.

@1saacpenner Go listen to anything off This Darkened Heart or The Fall of Ideals. This cheesy radio rock trash being put out under the same name as a band that put out modern metal masterpieces such as "The Weak Willed", "Chiron" and "I Die in Degrees" is an insult to Oliver Herbert's Legacy.
Shannon Lucas was a big factor in The Fall of Ideals being as amazing as it was BUT Oliver was the backbone of early ATR.
Danny's such a nice addition to this song, just love the way him and Phil harmonize together. Sounds so good

Saw ATR couple years ago in a small bar in Thunder Bay, ON. Was awesome to be that close. Leaning on the stage 2 feet from them. When they played This Calling Aaron Patrick came over and took my wife's glasses off and wore them through the song lol. Love this band. RIP Oli.

It was reported in November 2018 that Jason was filling in for Oli {may he RIP} Then in February 2019 ATR announced he was a full time member but he's still doing he's solo projects on down time. Jason R, ATR are definitely doing Oli proud imo 🤘🏼
