Yeah, you're right, very solid drumming. I'm amazed how clean this is to be honest. In old ATR live videos he is really untight. It's good to see he's improved massively (and playing to a click track helps, too).
I always thought that Jeanne was a great backup vocalist for this band! Something about the female rockstar added with Phil’s range and talent supported by the late Oli’s shredding style was for me the ultimate compilation
@@djentyman4002I wouldn’t say perfectly…He most certainly has gotten much, much better within the span of several years but during that time his tempo was WAY over the place
In the first song "Stand Up" specifically, it sounded as though Phil was throwing up chickens at 100mph. Man it is like 7:15am and I am currently pulling an all-nighter. This shit was too funny lol.
Everyone in this band is an amazing musician, too bad their style has gone wrong lately. But lead vocals are so fucking good, guitars masterful, bass players' screams/back vocals are fucking lovely and drummer is just unique with his style.
Jason was a awesome drummer I met them a month ot two before Ollie died ugh. I remebr hearing from my friend he would hang out with Jason costa with die-cast smoking weed
Sounds like it's just mixed terribly because the guitar solo was squelchy like that. I doubt it was a voice crack, more like backing vocals overlapping with lead vocals.
No that was his voice breaking because he can't hit the notes. I know because this is what my voice does when I try to sing hard songs. The problem is they are writing beyond their live performance capabilities.
Phil’s pretty old, I’m afraid he just doesn’t have it any more. But Jesse Leach still had it! Oh would I love to see Jesse do a show with AtR in vocals!
To be fair, they write very difficult & fast music that is insanely tough to play live I don't think all the practice in the world would make it sound as flawless as they sound in the studio
I really feel like if they made just one heavy album like the did with fall then they would probably spark something awesome but as it stands now, no thank you, I think they do an alright live performance though, solos do lack!
I was watching many different live videos from them and i feel disappointed with the performances. Some bands sounds better on studios and some sounds better live and guess what this is not a great live band but i still love ATR music.
AtR are a grrat band. They've toured for many years. Phil's an old man, hence he probably can't keep the pace. I've heard other singers throw some clinkers though so I imagine at some point, earlier in tours their voices are able to keep up, but after weeks and months on the road playing four to six shows a week, you can't do it any more.
Does anyone else absolutely love this band!!!!

he's awesome
Yeah, you're right, very solid drumming. I'm amazed how clean this is to be honest. In old ATR live videos he is really untight. It's good to see he's improved massively (and playing to a click track helps, too).
His job is impossible, and i dont have a clue about his age when that show happened
That was mine and my fiances first date he passed away last August and I will always remember this day.
The drummer is absolutely flawless, pleasure to listen to live!
es uno de mis favoritos en todo el mundo
Here he is perfect! Older live videos he is pretty bad.
Glad they revive the band with new members sure they will never replace olis passion
Big up the vocal tracks! They sound amazing!

I always thought that Jeanne was a great backup vocalist for this band! Something about the female rockstar added with Phil’s range and talent supported by the late Oli’s shredding style was for me the ultimate compilation

It's so cool their drummer uses traditional grip i never seen anyone play metal that way
Bruno Valverde do Angra
Nick Pierce (ex-Unearth, now w/ As I Lay Dying) also uses traditional grip.
- very rare. But a few out there in metal.
Noticed that too. Respect!
27:20 Camera man: Oh, a guitar solo? I guess I'd better film the bass player then!
Love the bassist
I'm still listening to nothing else to do relive in the good days just watched Jason and Ivan with the death punch
Nice soud... The best ❤️❤️❤️
27:03 those moves crack me up

surgeyX He's pretty darn sloppy in this video
Great set
Superb good song
Rest in Peace, Oli, brother, may God be with you! \m/
Great video. I would've loved more footage of the drums. Skol
Melhor banda de metal core, muito bom
That drummer is good...
yes. good. thats it though. VERY simple drums in this song...
He sold his soul to satan. Only that
Buck Futtler what song? Lol Jason is a very good drummer actually. Filled the shoes of Shannon Lucas perfectly in 2006
@@djentyman4002I wouldn’t say perfectly…He most certainly has gotten much, much better within the span of several years but during that time his tempo was WAY over the place
very good...
Wow🙀 the woman bassist could screaming
Jeanne
RIP oli Herbert
R.I.P Oli :C
classic metalcore
Backing vocals were pretty good. Don't notice them as much on the CDs
Awesome
In the first song "Stand Up" specifically, it sounded as though Phil was throwing up chickens at 100mph. Man it is like 7:15am and I am currently pulling an all-nighter. This shit was too funny lol.
Everyone saying they're bad live band I think they did great
Everyone in this band is an amazing musician, too bad their style has gone wrong lately. But lead vocals are so fucking good, guitars masterful, bass players' screams/back vocals are fucking lovely and drummer is just unique with his style.
Soo sad to see oli getting it rip friend
Phil Is a Badass!
I'm not gonna find you outside of my door, but damn I wanna let you in"
Jason was a awesome drummer I met them a month ot two before Ollie died ugh. I remebr hearing from my friend he would hang out with Jason costa with die-cast smoking weed
Pre-recorded vocal track sounds weird in the first song. Makes the whole song sound like gang vocals.
costa saved another performance
Setlist?
18:00 vocal espetacular
Yep! BRUTAL
The only rock/metal drummer I have seen using traditional grip.
Unearth drummer too
As I lay dying drummer
@@heavyweightdrummer8699I love how your comment and the person above’s both refer to the same person lol

27:03 dancing
listen to when he sings we at 2:22 it's freaking hilarious XD
Sounds like it's just mixed terribly because the guitar solo was squelchy like that. I doubt it was a voice crack, more like backing vocals overlapping with lead vocals.
Business Cat eh, maybe. Still sounds hilarious. Not to mention I'm sure the majority of the crowd probably didn't think that immediately.
No that was his voice breaking because he can't hit the notes. I know because this is what my voice does when I try to sing hard songs. The problem is they are writing beyond their live performance capabilities.
uff men!! :v me ganaste el comentario haha xdxd alv :v
Phil’s pretty old, I’m afraid he just doesn’t have it any more. But Jesse Leach still had it! Oh would I love to see Jesse do a show with AtR in vocals!
Rip oil
what's the name of the first song?
+MetalAtomico the first song is calling "stand up"
29:28 what was that haha!
hahahahahahahah 😂
That looked like romance right there
surgeyX Good to see she's got a good sense of humor?
hahah trying to make him laugh
24:46 What a screamer.
They need to rehearse more.
To be fair, they write very difficult & fast music that is insanely tough to play live
I don't think all the practice in the world would make it sound as flawless as they sound in the studio
This is an opinion of a fan of the first few albums from this band. they have died im sorry their age is catching them.
you say the truth, the fall of ideals was the best album...
Torbi's House fall of the ideals and for we are many ... after that ......nothing
hey did you hear their new song??
not yet
So You Say Age means Making Shit Music? Ever heard of Motörhead, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden or Rolling Stones?
29:30 What's going on there?
Ya boi at 29:11 hahahaha
Vin Diesel: All That Remains means family.
Jason is a great drummer
His live playing is fuckin A
Does anyone notice a click track during the first song?
BACKING VOCALS SO SO SO AUDIBLE HERE.
The guitarist its vin deisel
They are a good band, the sound lets it down :/
18 min 13 sec sounds like pure death dying fetus lol
What name of first music?
Stand Up, from the newest album A War You Cannot Win
STAND UP - all that remains obviously
Is it me or does it sound like in stand up he has the track playing in the background with him?
+medicineman729 thought so. Kinda lame to have a backing track
It's jean
+Michael Blummer its the bassist
+loganjames9 what about what if I was nothing? Jean can be seen not singing during the beginning
There is a backing track and Jeane backs him too. About 90% of bands using backing tracks in this genre. Pay close attention. :)
7.25 song? please
Now Let Them Tremble/For We are Many
lmao I hope the sound guy that worked on this didn't get fired
could someone please tell me the name of this song 11:51
The song is called asking too much and it's off of the album a war you cannot win.

Zach Galifianakis when he had long hair.
I bet the bassist out-drinks every one of them hahaha
I really feel like if they made just one heavy album like the did with fall then they would probably spark something awesome but as it stands now, no thank you, I think they do an alright live performance though, solos do lack!
but the early albums are best.
wtf drummer jazz grip?7
Lars Wolter you new to ATR?
Lars Wolter He always used that grip, rarely seen these days
I give this guy props for using traditional grip. Hes the only metal drummer I've ever seen us traditional grip
Неужели мужикам гитары настроить было в лом перед концертом!!!!

All that remains have the most schizophrenic shows. Ever.
Two vocal tracks ?? Wtf....
when you suck, you gotta have a backing track....
Buck Futtler agree..I don't mind a keyboard track or strings etc.but I can do vocal backing tracks in a "metal" band..
Im not judgemental in any way, but It's pretty odd seeing a metal drummer Play the snar in Jazz style imo
Nick Pierce also plays traditional 👀
would be awesome if the background singer didnt singjjjjj
