Not really, once you get one you realize it’s not all it’s cracked up to be, mostly eye candy and hype, if i could get those graphics on my PS4 pro w/SSD i would say the Pro was better, right now that’s the only department it loses in, 60fps 30 fps seems the same when I’m playing a game.

Not surprised by the media remote working on older Sony TVs. Traditionally, most manufacturers don't change their remote IR frequencies very often. This allows universals and other remotes to work across many models. It's one of those old incentives for brand loyalty, a concept that has evaporated in a lot of industries over the last decade and a half.

@@psrulers7020 I don't know if the media remote has programability for other brands, but if another manufacturer is using the same IR frequency and codes as Sony, then there is a possibility. Though, if you find one that does work, the product would most likely be a re-branded Sony TV anyway.

i absolutely love my PS5 for all these reasons. I didn’t know about the action symbols on the back showing you where the stand should go, that’s awesome! also, one thing i do have issue with is the fact they completely removed themes from the settings. I know they went for a more app-centered display, but i had some seriously beautiful songs and images i loved seeing every day

That's the point.
I did notice the design was also applied to the media remote didn't notice it on the charging station. I do like the fact they give you an extra ac power cord with the charging station. I like nice additions like that for the price you pay. I like the weight added to the controller as well. Definitely a difference compared to dualshock 4. And the system music is oddly pleasing to hear invoking a certain atmospheric ambience that I can't describe.
Then the part about an old Sony TV working with new media remote that's insanely awesome! I like retro easter eggs like that!

It's incredible, especially on 2k it feels crazy when you are trying to drive to the hoop.
I now can't play without it. I mean I obviously can. But it feels numb and boring. Even Bugsnax on DualShock4 feels like old stuff.

@@devilmaycry383 The triggers resistance/feedback is amazing. The astro's playroom makes the best use, but its fun to feel it in spiderman while swinging around. My only complaint is I do get hand cramps from the new size/shape of the controller. However, my wrists were shredded from the DS4 the first 2 weeks I used it while getting used to the new angle and then never again and it became my favorite controller... until the adaptive triggers on the dual sense.
@Mohamed It feels great a whole new experience I can't wait to see how future games will take full use of the DualSense controller especially after Astro's Playroom demonstrated perfectly.

The controller is plain awesome. This is a real leap forward. It adds so much to the immersion. It makes Gt7 drivable with triggers since you can feel the brake and trailbrake. It allows you to pull the bow in horizon and then let go, which feels so much more natural. It even allows to use one trigger for aim down sight and shoot, since it can have a resistence point. It can even have multiple. It can make you feel vibes and texture. In ratchet and clank rift apart, when you enter the Club early in the game, the bass vibrations of the music are transported through the controller. That just blew my mind.
This thing is really next gen

What I love the most about the PS5 controller is the transparent buttons on ❎⏺🔼🔲 and the D pad, it just brings me back to the PSP buttons.😃
I better prefer colored symbols like previous PlayStation models.
@@automation7295 well, we all have our preferences. In my opinion I like it because it gives me psp vibes, but you’re not really convinced of the controller because you prefer the colored buttons. To be honest tho, what I do miss and don’t like now is the PS logo, I miss when it was colored like I’m the PS2
@@joeghost05 I get that transparent buttons is a throwback to PSP buttons, but it would've been nice if Sony make different variants of PS5 controller;
Current, all PS5 controllers has transparent buttons with all-gray symbols.
Second variant could still keep the transparent buttons, but with colored symbols.
Third variant could also still keep the transparent buttons with colored symbols. But the PS logo could be changed back to a circular PS button like PS4 and PS3 controllers had.

After owning a PS5 for about two weeks now, i can assure you: it really is so much faster and more powerful than the PS4 (even when it came out)!
I’ve never been this positive about a console as long as i remember and the controller is just slightly different in terms of shape, but SOO much better in the hands!
Also the adaptive triggers and rumble really enhance the overall feel of every game and it just comes alive that much more.
I understand the hype and when you get the chance to get hold of one, DO IT!

I don't even own a PS5 and not planing on to get a PS5. I've tried PS5 and controller feels weird when I'm used to PS3 and PS4 controllers.
I quite like the PS5's user interact, but the design of the console is quite ugly in my opinion. Another thing I don't like about the PS5 is; If you in a game and accidentally pressed another game from the home screen, it just exits the current game without asking. This is what I prefer my PS4, it always asks you first when accidentally pressing the wrong game. This not interested getting a PS5 because of this.
