The Eddie is a guy on stilts. They had problems with him on several shows of that tour. The guy in the suit used to fall quite frequently. Funny stuff.
i used to own this on dvd & i always wondered how that was done. i imagined it was just a guy on stilts as you said but then im sure that had to be challenging for the guy to be able to move so quickly & precisely all across the stage up & down the stairs not hitting anyone or falling off the stage into the crowd lol
This show back in 85 was so well done, these guys knew how to entertain! Even today. No signs of slowing down.

He sounds incredible here. Modern recording would only suck the life out of the original recording.
