My brother used to play DFO in college and one time he was on a team of all rangers and the animation of them cocking their guns all layered over each other blew out his laptop speakers and completely bricked his video card. Anyway this game looks sick can't wait to try it out.
yea dfo was always only windows accessible but if i remember correctly, there use to be a work around back in the day if you really wanted to play on Mac
Ahh, I forgot to give the usual run down on this class' backstory! He is from a place called the Empyrean, the land of clouds and Heavens. The people there have a traditional korean hanbok attire and have advanced technology and vast knowledge of them. Male Rangers are from the lawless districts, a vast wasteland where bandits and cutthroats are a plenty. M.Rangers are THE quintessential western romancists of old. Two revolvers, flick of the wrist and draw. They never miss their targets and always shoot to kill with the added benefit of: Rule of cool.
I love how in most Korean and Chinese MMOs you can have generic-ass European mediveal fantasy right next to hyper advanced Sci-fi civilization and no one says anything about it. Sometimes it ruins the immersion, sometimes you just don't give a shit because it's cool.
I felt in love for this guy only because he remembers me of Vash the Stampede But I already have a character "made for me" and it's Lucia, from Street V, I only had 2 SNES games, when I was a kid, Final Fight 3 was one of them, she came right when I was starting playing street V and her fight stile clicked with me more than most other charters I played before, in all fighting games I played

I actually tried this you know. I tried to make the dfo ranger in dnd. The gunslinger class that I did make had so much crit it was nearly oneshotting every boss.
Ah yes, the Artificer Class, (an actual class in D&D, who's weapon is GUN. Also, SCIENCE! None of that hokey "magic" for them, instead you can give yourself sick robot legs.)
I love the reimagination (or rather transition) of each class into a traditional fighting game character. I hope we can see Frang in her glory at some point (may or may not be a bit bias towards her lolol)
I love how in the past 3 years more obscure games/franchises that thrived in the east have now finally found an audience in the west and everyone is loving it just as I expected. Jojos,Guilty Gear,DNF, etc.

Strive only managed to bring casuals to the equation. Admittedly a prowess, sure. But considering the community and genre as a whole are fairly hard to get in... Guilty Gear is hardly the only example.

i main raven in DFO and his combos are spot on! hes core mechanic in the base game is that he can cancel his kick skills into gun skills like an awesome gun-kata character. love how accurate he looks and plays.

Not a DnF player here but i took a look at thé different characters. For FMage, even though Elementalist or Battle Mage are more likely to be the playable characters, i just wish for Enchentress because i'm a turbo sucker for Puppetteer characters 😍
I have never enjoyed playing fighting games like this, but i have always loved to watch them, like a proper sport. I can't wait for all the good stuff that will come from this game
We have gathered here today, not to mourn the death of Ranger's cigarette, but to celebrate its life. There has never been a better couple between Ranger and Ranger's cigarette. The cigarette we know may be gone, but it will forever live in our hearts. I first met Ranger's cigarette when I picked up Dungeon Fighter Online on Nexon's portal in September of 2009. Our first encounter was a bit awkward. Ranger's cigerette was extremely small; in fact, he was so small, that you probably wouldn't have noticed him until he puffed out smoke every so often. Lung cancer jokes weren't very common! Ranger's cigarette sure was tiny, but he was still charming as ever. It filled me with joy to see him become popular when Ranger was tournament viable in the korean PVP scene. Time had passed and Nexon let go of Dungeon Fighter Online, and we all thought we would never see him again. Many years later, Neople self published Dungeon Fighter Online to the west again, and Ranger's cigarette was back. Maybe a bit older, and perhaps not as robust in PvP, but we were all glad he came back. Ranger's cigarette's best friend +10 Death by Revolver is here with us as well to pay respects to Ranger's cigarette. +10 Death by Revolver would tell me stories of how the two would team up and speed run Anton raids. +10 Death by Revolver would love to do the honors of providing +43% physical crit damage to revolvers. Ranger's cigarette is survived by many friends and family, and I feel that we are all equally blessed to be part of his life, as he was part of ours. I will remember Ranger's cigarette. You all will remember Ranger's cigarette. People will still talk about this class cosmetic that had been with them through thick and thin. While Ranger's cigarette is gone now, we will live on with a lesson. Enjoy your +13 Midnight Russian Roulette in their wonderful lifespan before they are made obsolete. Oh man, the character I was least interested in is now a potential main. I love his cocky yet suave personality, and his smooth grace coupled with the crow feather aesthetic in the ult. Very cool character!
its because his 2nd awakening name is actually raven in the source game though his 2nd awakening lore is actually him mourning a dead friend rather then anything upbeat he basically gains a raven motif after his 2nd awakening where his ultimate skill has him leaving black feather afterimages behind as he maneuvers everywhere shooting everyone and this carries into 3rd awakening where he gets a new skill that shrouds himself in black smoke resembling raven feathers and rushes forward shooting before scattering the feathers-like smoke with a finishing shot
I dig this SO much..badass cowboy going nuts with his revolvers is something I'm down for as a look. That makes all the characters shown in the original trailer so now it's all new folks..I can't wait to see what variants make it in. I'd be completely down for eventually having them all in the future via DLC but I'll be happy with a decent sized starting roster full of interesting characters.
I actually hope they get a sound-alike instead. Hear me out for a moment: I think there is already novelty behind this guy being Dante's DNF counterpart, so having a different voice actor would help capture that sensation of "familiar character, but from an alternate universe" type of deal. But hey, if they settle for Reuben Langdon, that'd still be awesome either way.
It was my dream as a teenage weeb to have a crossover between DMC and Guilty Gear. Years later, this is the closest thing there is. And it looks GLORIOUS.

True, even in his source game he has a few skills that can do a ridiculous numbers of hit into even 3 digits far surpassing what a revolver should be capable of though if his 1st awakening skill is any indication at all it shows that he actually carrying 6 guns

Even with this game looking as great as it does, it's still got me sold on the sound design alone. Like, sfx have always been imperative to any decent fighting game, but I've never seen them steal the show quite like this.

Oh man, the character I was least interested in is now a potential main.
I love his cocky yet suave personality, and his smooth grace coupled with the crow feather aesthetic in the ult. Very cool character!
its because his 2nd awakening name is actually raven in the source game though his 2nd awakening lore is actually him mourning a dead friend rather then anything upbeat
he basically gains a raven motif after his 2nd awakening where his ultimate skill has him leaving black feather afterimages behind as he maneuvers everywhere shooting everyone and this carries into 3rd awakening where he gets a new skill that shrouds himself in black smoke resembling raven feathers and rushes forward shooting before scattering the feathers-like smoke with a finishing shot
Satisfacting gun sounds is the one thing I need. If he sounds as good as Happy Chaos I'm sold
I can see the female Rangers skill motion in the DFO. It's a very suitable motion arrangement.

I dig this SO much..badass cowboy going nuts with his revolvers is something I'm down for as a look. That makes all the characters shown in the original trailer so now it's all new folks..I can't wait to see what variants make it in. I'd be completely down for eventually having them all in the future via DLC but I'll be happy with a decent sized starting roster full of interesting characters.
Ghostblade, Monk, Ghostblade, Elven Knight, Hitman, Ghostblade, Witch and Ghostblade would be cool to see

I actually hope they get a sound-alike instead. Hear me out for a moment: I think there is already novelty behind this guy being Dante's DNF counterpart, so having a different voice actor would help capture that sensation of "familiar character, but from an alternate universe" type of deal.
But hey, if they settle for Reuben Langdon, that'd still be awesome either way.
I hope he gets voiced by Junichi Suwabe in the Japanese dub and Reuben Langdon in English dub. They both voiced smooth dudes.

True, even in his source game he has a few skills that can do a ridiculous numbers of hit into even 3 digits far surpassing what a revolver should be capable of though if his 1st awakening skill is any indication at all it shows that he actually carrying 6 guns

@@farid3454 yeah dfo has gone against the grain with its mechanics. Some characters like the strikers, lancer's skirmisher, or slayer's ghostblade can fly across maps in no time at all

Even with this game looking as great as it does, it's still got me sold on the sound design alone. Like, sfx have always been imperative to any decent fighting game, but I've never seen them steal the show quite like this.
