This is a good episode, I look forward to seeing part 2 soon. Also, some of the stuff in the treatment and script wound up in the Iron Man movies some way or another.
This is an example of egotistic writers whom are not only subconsciously embarrassed to be associated with a "comic book" movie but hold the source material in such disregard that they feel they can do it better.
It's also about delivering a script on a deadline that can be made within a desired timeframe and for a budget that the studio can afford - that is, if you are a writer that wants to work again in the future.
I actually do remember accessing the archives couple years ago of the Iron Man stuff, they were really interesting from the no writer's name outlines from the 80s to Marc Lafia/Michael Miner, to Roy Thomas which they had different takes of what Gordon could've done an Iron Man movie. I accessed some selection of the materials the first time -- and later on accessed the entire Iron Man materials of scripts, treatments, and notes/comments, so on. I still have them to this day. I was set to do an interview with both Marc & Michael, but I thought about letting the thought of them being interviewed by Josh Miller & Stephen Scarlatta of their podcast BestMoviesNeverMade, which was a way better option for them than me, LOL...
@@homanism6438 Shocking, ain't it, that most don't give a damn about modern Marvel? All this bollocks show is that lack of you don't get WHAT people actually like.
So was this Abdul character meant to be this movies Mandarin like how Tim Burton’s Batman give Joker the name Jack Napier and 1:52 I thought that James Hong was going to be the Mandarin because of Big trouble in little China also I could agree on Stan Lee with the second script as it’s pretty boring and nonsensical especially with Vermin.
Downey is STARK, not Doctor Doom. Stark has comeback to life before, uploading his consciousness into a cloned body. The same idea could be used to revitalise Stark in the MCU.
Super void capitalizing on the Ironman SEO. We love to see it.

"Vermin is exposed to DNA biochip material that drips from the ceiling."
Sounds like something Sony would make at least two movies from.

You just described most of the MCU. Especially Iron Man 3. Yuck.
You just described most of the the MCU.
Interesting to see and hear about what could have been regarding Iron Man. Great video man, hope you’re doing well. Take care!
Feels like we dodged some serious bullets here
How's we.......just don't watch. Done.
@@dougpassat How 'bout you take your meds? How 'bout that, Doug?
Several of these ideas definitely made their way into Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and Avengers.

Could you guys maybe tackle The Wachowski’s Plastic Man or even all the Freddy vs Jason scripts down the line?
I’ve done a lot of research into the Wachowski’s Plastic Man, it’s really a fascinating topic and I’d also love to see them do a vid on it
And now Iron Man is Dr Doom what a strange world we live in 💀
Someone never read comics
@@homanism6438You don’t have to read comics to enjoy the movies.

Imagine if marvel adapts Iron Man noir into a movie as a way to reboot the Iron Man franchise in a new creative way
The Iron Man we got was better....I wouldn't have liked either of these....
Rdj❤
Would love to see you cover unmade Akira movies
Can you do the unproduced or canceled unmade George Romero?
Yes! Like resident evil!
Can you do CANCELLED bone comic book Adaptations?
Habla de la película cancelada de gambito de Channing tatum
I want a new Iron Man movie maybe a reboot with a new tony stark like my fancast is either Glen Powell or miles teller as the new tony stark Iron Man

This channel has been great for years I see a new ch has a very similar set up Bulletts and blockbusters y’all might wanna collaborate
I subbed to B&B awhile ago. Shorter format but still great content
They fucking kill Tony off at the end?
Where do all the animations used in the video come from? I know some are official motion comics, but what about the others?
Wait is this the same guy as goodbadflicks?
these would have been cinematic clunkers
A lot of it doesn't really sound all that bad
Oh they had me at “Abdul and his girlfriend”
😂
And they basically used all these concepts anyway
“Following the directors death in March of 2020.”
Gonna take a wild guess at how he croaked lmao
