I have only been to New Orleans twice and once to Cafe Du Monde. With all due respect to the lovers of beignets and chicory coffee, the beignets tasted just like basically fried donuts with massive amounts of powdered sugar. However, I believe it is a local cultural experience not to be missed. I really enjoy your vlogs and keep up the good work! Can't wait to see your next birthday cruise review. Also not to be missed in New Orleans is Pat O'Brien's and a Hurricane Punch. Maybe on your next trip!
When I flew as a fa,phx was 94 degrees.it was May. Had no coat, sandals,longish cotton pants in my suitcase for airport ready. Got called to do Calgary,with 24 hr layover. SNOW! 😂😂😂
How nice that you could fly with your classmate Lucas while on reserve. It was nice that the two of you were used on reserve. We didn't get to see John this time. Hope he is doing well.
There are many "Life of a Flight Attendant" on YT. Francesco, your's is the best. You show us getting on the plane and show us around and what you do. The other's just show us them leaving and arriving at the airport and "Im getting to my hotel" Keep it up!!! Love them.
Interesting video! I was at Cafe du Monde back in November. The cafe appears in some of legendary author Anne Rice's novels. Also, the St Louis Cathedral appears in your video. The House of Voodoo, in the French Quarter, appears in one of my own novels. When I was in New Orleans, I also made a pilgrimage to Metairie cemetery, where Anne Rice is entombed. I filmed a video at the Rice family crypt literally two weeks before she passed. It was uncanny. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for another great vlog! Seeing New Orleans brings back so many great memories. Our whole training class from IND went there on our first non rev trip together. I’m so glad u got to fly with Lucas. Flying with friends makes it so much better!
Nawlins 😂 Cafe Du Mont should be first stop in morning before crowds get there to grab beignets and cafe au lait and eat by Park to people watch, followed by a creole Po boy and cup Of Gumbo. Can’t wait to het back in ‘23

I loved this, Francesco! I traveled to New Orleans for the first time last April, just a quick weekend trip. Loved doing the Cafe du Monde and Cafe Beignet experience, as well as walking around the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. Such a fun place and a fantastic little getaway. Hope you get to travel with Lucas again!
Great vlog Francesco regarding Airport Standby and your assignment. You look so smart always. Lucas is a lovely friend and it was so nice you and he got to explore a little of New Orleans. I have never been there either. One of my sons is a FO with the Major Carrier here in Canada. He of course has a month here and there on Reserve but can do it from home. Unfortunately he’s just now back in training. Airlines in Canada were very hard hit by the Pandemic. But thankfully they are getting recalled now. It was so strange, in 2020 I was able to sit in my garden and not hear a plane take off or go overhead. Just birdsong and the odd car. I’m probable about 10 miles approx from YYZ. Thank you for posting. I love your vlogs with “no drama”.

I love that you randomly got to work with your friend! I also love chicory. You probably had a chicory/coffee blend. I like straight up chicory because my body doesn't tolerate caffeine well and it's a nice alternative to decaff. Thanks for taking us along!

I've been to New Orleans many times and it used to be so easy sit and eat at Cafe Du Monde unfortunately the hurricane damage has changed the city I saw new restaurants while you were walking around. Go back again when you can the food is awesome and you should see some of the entertainment at least once. As in all cities be safe.
Love your channel! Lucas was a cool surprise! I have to say though, next time you’re in New Orleans I hope you get a chance to get ‘real’ beignets at Cafe du Monde. Airport beignets are like like airport Cuban coffee. The best Cuban coffee is Little Havana. So go back!! Love from Massachusetts 💫☺️

We don't have to wear our uniform, but it makes it easier when going through security.
