@@caleb7122 That's because the diaphragm is made of gold, so it can conduct electricity. Remember, gold is VERY conductive to electricity and is also very flexible.
This process make me crazy and mouth watering...this microphone in the video is one of the best and just about 10.000 usd price alone! 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ my dream
Interesting but I am looking for learning the different types technology used in microphones such as Bluetooth headsets. I’m trying to find one best for dictation software - thank you
The microphone that you have just seen manufactured is the Holy Grail of studio recording, the Neumann U87 Ai.

@@NateCraven318 but I'm pretty sure that's not why they used it
not THEE holy grail. I'd put the c800g before the U87 and maybe the U67 but it's def top 3 best mics imo.
And the capsule costs.. around 180$.. damn
i now accept why neumann mic cost so much
Those microphones are standard issue and high performance recording studios
The precision is what costs, and yes, it is worth it.
Thanks for the informative video . Very cool
Ive never been this fascinated by a screw before
Neumann U87 should be treated with care, but is definitely not a delicate piece of gear - this thing is build very solid! You can trust it!
