Glentress is one of my favourite places to ride in the UK the trail centre is great and something for everyone. It’s great to see your lady riding and shredding it up she looks like she really enjoyed it. I’d like to get my other half in to it but she’s not keen but seeing Alex riding more would really help convince her that an EMTB would help with the hard ups. Keep up the good work dude 👍🏻
Nailed it mate. Must get back to Glentress. Looks like there's been a few changes. Another quality production too. Nice to mix natural with centre from time to time. Variety being the spice of life..
Great video and you made a couple of good points like its true that being up on the mountains in is biking at its best without a doubt but on the flip side we have glentress and other centres which are truely class venues to come and experience cycling in the great Scottish outdoors which is all some people want but like u say also fantastic places to practise and hone your skills to get up on the mountains and glens and ride in scotlands stunning landscape. Thanks for sharing and showing just how much there is out there for people who want to get out and pedal cheers
possibly going there on Friday with my son although I might go to hamsterley as it’s closer to home. Either way glentress has something for all levels of skill. Good video👍
just bought my first MTB, going to go here for my first time at a proper mountain bike trails, thinking of going skipping the green trails and going straight for the blue trail. cant wait to get to it once this lockdown allows
The trails down here at Mabie forest and at Ae forest are so dry it is just like riding on marbles at times. Really unusual but not complaining- just different! Enjoyed the video. Cheers
Glenlivet and Fochabers are good for beginners. Glenlivet is like a massive blue with a couple of features you can bypass or build confidence on, it certainly builds fitness though. Fochabers is a mix of blues and a red, the Black is totally ignorable but the short Orange is a blast. Theres also a good skills area at Fochabers and a very small one with a pump track at Glenlivet. You might be bored stiff, but that's fine. There are also really good skills areas at Grantown on Spey and Forres. The Forres one is outstanding.
I love This place. Where I learnt to ride mtb. It's usually a 2 half drive up. But always worth it. When the divine gives me the cash The tweed valley is where I am going to live so I can ride the trails in Glentress and innerleithen when ever I want. The black routes and even the reds & blues are great. 😁😁😉😃 Great vlog catching the essence of hot summer days in the park.👍👌
So great you have just put this up, coming up with my Son at the end of August. We were going to do a dat there and one at Inerleithen what do you think ?
Ideal place to take my wife, she's been off the bike for a while and the blues at gt or Karnvali should be good to build her confidence........I was thinking of the local woods but she'll probably try something she's not ready for again.
Lots of nice flowy trails... I'm used to seeing you on nothing but chunky challenging backcountry trails. That's great that you got your girlfriend out there... All it takes is practice and she'll be a lot more comfortable on the fun stuff. I like that Lombard Street... named after the steep, switch backing San Francisco street. That last trail was a nice way to finish with all the jumpy hops and turns.
nice spot there buddy the Missus is Going well on the bike she is love it now buddy hook got hungry after see your plate so full nice food just got back nice ride hope all good your way buddy ;0)
I love your matching bikes. My partner and I have his-and-hers stump jumpers... I cringe when I see guys trying to get their partners keen on mountain biking by taking them out on under-spec'd bikes on overly-challenging trails. Good on you for doing it right!
Must have just missed you I was there the day before, Don't really like Glentress as its abit of BMX track tba .. but being on the Bike is better than not being on it :)
ha ha ha ha just after my bitching about people videoing their food at the end of rides. Such a great place for beginners. maybe take the family there on friday or sunday.
superb bud. you know Glentress well. cheers for the tips 👍
I was just there Sunday too ... always a good day at Glentress
Another great video! Going to Glentress for the first time in a couple of weeks and this video really helped. Thanks!

I'm heading to Glentress next week. Watching you ride it made me realise how much I have to learn about biking!
Epic riding man.

Nice video mate, I love natural trails but you can’t beat a trail centre from time to time. Keep up the good work.

That spooky wood trail looked awesome you did it with some crazy speed your a accomplished rider I'd be going mega slow.
The trails down here at Mabie forest and at Ae forest are so dry it is just like riding on marbles at times. Really unusual but not complaining- just different! Enjoyed the video. Cheers

McTrail Rider thanks, if we have the time and energy we might try that too (if I have the energy 😆)
Great vid as ever, you've convinced me I need an ebike for my wife, a last ditch try to get her really off-roading.
excellent , nothing wrong with those trails !! well done to your partner... cheers
I did my clavicle there 5 weeks ago. From what I saw its a great place.. 😁🤘....
Another great video BTW..👍
This is great, absolutely great. Now I can show to my dear lady wife that there possibly could be a future with us both riding the trails.
Was there once about 3 years ago with my son got totally lost it'll be good to go with someone who know the place.
Ideal place to take my wife, she's been off the bike for a while and the blues at gt or Karnvali should be good to build her confidence........I was thinking of the local woods but she'll probably try something she's not ready for again.

She's doing real good, as long as she's enjoying it that's what matters.
Ace video, dying to get to somewhere like this but staying in the north east it's a long way from home.. lol
Pete,we're in Durham and get up here 4 times a year...
North east Scotland lads... Peterhead. Closest trails are kirkhill forest..
Scolty hill, pitfichie, both but as big but as good
Ahhhh,NE Scotland...Stay where you are..ha ha
Cool...Rain Thursday n Saturday should get rid of the dust
That looks like a cool place to ride
"After not too much climbing at all" - he says on an e-bike. lmao.
Super video again. Trying to use it to introduce my wife to MTB too but she's no having it. Do you use mission control? If so what setting do you use?
I wanna take my misses to glentress as well but it's an absoloute mission for me haha
Was there on Sunday
I love it at GT...Something for everyone
eyo - i‘m visiting schottland this summer (mid aug to mid sept). what should i ride? greets from switzerland
For some reason I am much better on left hand berms/bends than I am on right. It is the same one my motorcycle. I am the Derek Zoolander of MTB.
Pretty good !
very cool dude
Awesomesauce!!!
Glentress is a (trail) heaven!! Wouldn't hesitate a second 2 spend a couple of 100 euro and take the boat and hit these puppies again!!
ha ha ha ha just after my bitching about people videoing their food at the end of rides. Such a great place for beginners. maybe take the family there on friday or sunday.
McTrail Rider probably not the last
