You boys are crazy good. I wish I could do the same but alas the passing years has put that behind me. Our impromptu meet at the Trail Head of 'Harry's Blue', Glentress today, just rubber stamped my already formed impression that you are a decent, 'down to earth' really nice guy. You have given me many hours of wonderful free entertainment. For that I thank you. It was great to meet you and have a 'blether' about this and that. You deserve all that is good in life. Wishing you the very best for the future Andrew. Cheers. Big Stoozer. 🤠
flipping heck that was some nice riding on some awesome trails Andrew - great camera work - mad between the trees, nice one - always good to get some local knowledge, cheers!
@@McTrailRider dude, I loved it so much I went out and bought me a new full squish to slay this weekend! - awesome stuff Andrew, proper influencer :) !
Plenty of off piste trails at Ae remember looking at some of these still as wet as ever 😂 some size of drops on trails good blast round handy to have guides that know the way, thanks for sharing Andrew! 😁🤙
Another fantastic video Andrew and possibly the best AE off-piste showcase video I've seen. I've been thinking about going there soon (on the limit of day trip distance), just not sure I'm up to it yet. The pace you rode these trails looks scary, amazing!
I'd also say note ta self neva watch all u guys vids they makin me wanna move Scotland n ride wit u all lol . Shame I'm 49 tday tho n frm Bolton . GREAT VID BRUV. ur always rapid mate n ooo I know that Jamie fella lol
Sam and me (my son) met you at top of Spookey Wood few weeks ago. We went to Ae forest and thought it was the worst place to ride in the world but dunno how we missed the red trails. Ended up climbing for miles and gave up, went to DALBEATTIE the next day
Excellent, nice vid! Was wondering what the state of play was at Ae after the storms. Also curious why you hadn't been back as the PMBA Enduro goes there and other vids make it look pretty good (StreetPigeon, etc). Scrambled Eggs and Frazers were good but looks like more now. I read the trails are under local guardianship now like ATA so good for them. If they can get other locations to do the same it'd be fantastic as the Dumfries area used to be pretty good back in the 7Stanes era (slabs at Dalbeattie/Kirroughtree). Its really bonny down that way too.
Ace “let out a panic fart” 😂. I did one of them today at Golspie when I over popped a tabletop and landed 12ft beyond it 😅. Might be done SW next week, so will check out Ae. Are those trails on Trailforks ? Great vid thanks 😊
Which settings do you use for dji action 4 ? 😄 i just got The new dji action 5 pro. Do you use the rocksteady+? Enjoying to watch your videos. Glad to see you riding with BKXC and Alex 🫡
I remember thinking you were riding fast that day. The video doesn't lie. Legend 🙏
My crack level was fairly low that day, so I compensated by riding as fast as I could 😜
Does look superbly quick.
Note to self.. Don’t watch Mctrail rider videos before work in the morning.. you will be late 😂😂
Hope you don’t get in too much trouble 😜
I feel like I've watched enough of your videos now, to know when you are feeling good on the bike. You were finding the flow through all of that!
The secrets of Ae Forest! Those trails look superb. As always Andrew a great vid.

No.1 👍🏻 Great content as always Andrew. Never been to Ae forest before, I will have to go there one day.
Turns out, it’s worth a visit 👍

Glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully it turns out to be worth the distance/time for you.
@@McTrailRiderIt was absolutely worth the trip. Worked my way up to TDFW as last trail, what a buzz!
You'll need to come back and ride the other trails! Great riding with you Andrew ❤
I think you’re right Julia. Thank you to you and Mark for taking the time to show us around 😊

Banging video. Thank you 👍
I was just there today, (my local) but did the red route to try and get the fitness better, but blue rum (your first trail) is my favourite 👍
Yeah, that first trail was very good indeed 👌
My local... Awesome place, havent been for a few months but itching to get back

Looks a cracking place to ride. I'm just over 2 hrs drive away (Tyneside).
I'll have to come up sometime & give it a blast.
You will indeed 👍

That’s worthy of a bit more than a fart 😂
If you hit the link in the description that says “do this ride” you’ll be able to see the route we did.

Great Scottish team up and that’s coming from an English becoming a MTB international destination so much good stuff
I appreciate that mate 😊
Ae is a great day out
The trail down by the water
Is that an old trail that’s been rebuilt?
Rambos ??
I believe you are correct on both accounts
How u can trails blind soooo fast is beond me. Fantastic riding & vid
Seems to be something that I’ve gotten good at over the years 🤔 I do enjoy fast, blind riding.
What camera are you using ? I have the DJI action 4 just wondering what settings you use. Ae is also my local, mint vid
I’ve got the same camera.
4k 30fps
Ultra wide fov
Rocksteady on
I rode the first round of the UKGE at Ae forest a few years ago. Broke my hand on a tree on the last stage 😢
At least you got most of the stages done 😜
was a nice day until i inspected the heather 🤣 Last trail looked ace.
I appreciate your attention to detail Ross, always inspecting the trail thoroughly 😜
@@McTrailRider common feature when I ride with you it seems.
We need BKXC and The Sampler to host you in return - McTrailRider, Street pigeon and more to the USA please...
You know it's a good trail if it forces out a panic fart :)
The only real metric for measuring trail enjoyment 😂
Never met anyone that rated Ae on their first visit 😂
