Omg!!! My friend and I are going to Seattle and we want to go to forks. How is the drive? Do you have any tips?
The drive is a little dangerous if it’s raining because the roads are narrow and in some parts there are only two way roads that are also very narrow and can get a little foggy, drive carefully if you guys have a day like that but the scenery is beautiful a lot of nature and fresh air instead of city air. I would say pack some food, go to target lol. Forks itself is very secluded so there aren’t much places to eat at. The city Port Angels is a good place to stop by for anything you think you forgot to bring because there are more stores and gas stations available and you’ll pass by before you get to the more forest part of your trip. The transit center in Forks is a good place to use the restroom because there aren’t any other places that allow you to. Also be safe and bring self defense tools because the whole trip is very wooded and you’ll probably stop and get some air or whatever it is that you guys stop for. If you guys like coffee I recommend going to a coffee drive thru in Forks called Mocha Motion. For sure fill up on gas before you start your trip. We personally took the Edmonds Ferry and it’s not expensive so that’s convenient. If you guys like the outdoors/nature and enjoyed the twilight movie you guys will love it! Once you make it out to the coast it’s absolutely stunning. I would also say check out other beaches down south along the same coast you’ll get different scenery’s.
