You're doing that 'XKR' a disservice, it's actually an XKR-S. The ultimate X150 save for the ultra rare XKR-S GT. Good luck finding one of those..... Great vid though 😎👍🏻
What a great video of a stunning car. I don’t think open-top motoring gets much better than that! I saw a blue one of these beasts at the small, and unfortunately down defunct, Motorexpo show they used to hold at Canary Wharf. Had a kind of old-fashioned, “Shelby Cobra style” lap seat rather for the passenger. Really unusual. Would share, but not sure whether can attach photos to YT comments? Steve
Amazing cars. I worked for Jaguar in the 90’s at Whitley and left when the F-Type was still a glint in the designers/engineers eyes and the X100 was just about to go into production. Have to say the F-Type is still my favourite Jaguar now, the noise of the 5.0 is incredible. Great video again Pete, looking forward to Part 2.
I’ve watched every car review you’ve done for the past 2 or so years and I genuinely don’t think I’ve wanted a car so much by watching any video. Incredible car
I’ve driven some of theses before, and yes there very addictive cars. I must admit, the sad part is one not having one anymore and two the sound! Unless your right there with the car you just can’t understand the noise it makes lol 😂. Being disabled now I have to careful what I do now, so those days for me are gone but I can watch you and bring back the memories. I’ve had some awesome times in my life but now is my time to rest, please stay safe, healthy & drive safe 💋
I love all jaguars from the classics to the modern cars they've always been classy looking cars always made the right noises hopefully they will around for ever the country would be lost without them
Just a big thank you Pete.... You've made my night. One of my dream cars right there... You lucky so and so!! 😉. What I would give just to have a ride in a Project 7 let alone drive it😎. What a noise... A proper car is how I would describe it!! In my opinion, Jaguar along with Aston Martin are the coolest marque of cars there are. I know the majority of people say Jags are for old people.... I'm 42 and I've loved Jags for as long as I can remember. Really looking forward to part 2!!👍. I hope you are okay Pete after the week I can only imagine you've had. Chin up mate ❤️
Evening Pete. After seeing your reaction driving the Mustang the other day, and now the Project 7 today, I think I can safely say that I'll never see you react in the same way to an EV......regardless of how quick the likes of a Tesla is. Driving quick cars is all about the whole experience.....noise ,smell and all the other stuff that goes with a proper IC engined car. The Project 8 will just make it 3/3 for proper cars I'm sure👏
For our generation probably but for the next no. Even the latest and greatest Ferrari doesn’t make the same great sounds they used to. Like it not technology marches on and EV’s a likely future. I know a few 17 year olds who only drove petrol with the instructors and first Car a EV. They no nothing different and prefer the quietness and ease of drive plus the quirky acceleration of an EV. They can go out for hours not emptying their wallets like we did in the day, absolutely more freedom. EV’s will make seeing Cars like the P7 here special I just hope they don’t ban fossil completely.
I was really looking forward to the project seven ever since you showed us the pics in the midweek, but I am REALLY looking forward to Monday to see the project eight it looked to me even more stylish and aggressive than the seven, but I was with you in the seven, and I saw the way it looks and handles, immensely impressed, what a beast and a beauty at the same time, you are truly lucky to have experienced this car, and now so have we Pete, thank you for taking us along.
WOW! What a collection of cars and most importantly what a genuine guy to let you experience these. There are still some genuine people in the world. I work for JLR and like you Pete have experienced a range of products but nothing like the project 7/8 thanks again to you both for a great video 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Hi Pete, what a great guy Mike is for the days loan of the cars👍. I recently bought a red F Type it’s only the v6 version but it still puts a 😀on my face every time I drive it. Really looking forward to seeing project 8 I hope the weather stays dry.
Lovely car. Looks great and sounds amazing. What a great little Jaguar collection Mike has and so kind of him to let you drive some if them. I'd have the XK though. It looks drop dead gorgeous to my eyes in that colour combo 😍
The Project7 would definitely make it into my dream garage! Such a shame Jaguar never put the 5.0L engine into the regular 2020 XF to rival the C63 and M3.
Hi Pete What a great guy letting you play with his two precious toys I must admit they look amazing them two cars looking forward to Friday now to see the project eight
What a stunning car, after watching you drive the mustang and now the project 7 I don't think you'll be able to remove that smile from your face for quite sometime awesome video.
Fantastic line up of Jags . Pete I would probably say that is the most excited I have seen you drive in any car on your channel. Great sound and performance loved it👍🧽🏁
Lucky lucky Pete, a very nice Jag. I did my first years of driving around the roads of Oxfordshire so that bought back some memories for me. Can't wait for next review. I'm now paid up subscriber to you tube so no more adds to interfere with your show and I can now down load and watch the same day rather than the next morning woo who.
Hi Pete, mate now that's a car. The sound it makes is pure evil and I love it 😁. Great video mate, it was obvious to see you loved it, you had the grin of a young lad driving this one 👍👍👍👍👍🏁
"Normal" convertible F Type, park it in the underground, roof down on a morning, simply fire it up and it makes you smile. One of these would make you giggle.
What a machine, I loved my drive in the F-Type R I can only imagine how good this thing is!!! Absolutely epic fella I’m super jealous but so happy you’ve got to experience and share something so special for us all ❤️🙌👍
Hi Ped Fab insight of a unique car. The soundtrack to die for🥰🥰 Looking foreword to Project 8 on Monday. Trust the Pups are well, missing them already.😥
I drove an Ftype once and felt it was just super big and heavy. Was super disappointed as it was my dream car. I only drove it around the block though so maybe I will have to give it another try one day.
Just catching up with these Peter - can't say what I said out loud whilst watching... but holy cow epic!!! And to use a Clarkson quote... 'I'm nursing one'... cheers brilliant!!!
What a car. Looking forward to Monday already. I can only imagine cars like these I thought the pro tuned exhaust on my JCW was loud that is different level.
I still think the F-type is such a beautiful car and sounds amazing. And it’s such a steal at the moment, particularly used V6s. Awesome cars and the project 7 is just another level
An absolutely beautiful car that drives and sounds as good as it looks, I think if I ever won the lottery I will want an F Type! Love the theatre and sound of that engine & exhaust, just perfect👍😍👌. Andrew KB.
Having watched both vids I love both but, the sound of the Project 7 is insane!!!!! Love love love it, and I’m not even a fan of convertibles. It looks stunning too especially with the boot bulge behind the driver. Fantastic vids PP!
Great video - love the F type and had a 3.0V6 for a couple of years, but this is just awesome and a totally different car. Looking forward to seeing the Project 8
Evening Mr Ped,stunning car, really liked the front passenger seat eye view,it gave a real impression of speed.Looking forward to Monday for the project 8.
What a lucky guy you are! This Jag really is epic. The shape, the colour, the sound. What a machine. Why isn’t there a Nobel Prize for cars? However, there is one thing for my taste it could fail the prize and that’s the spoiler. I can‘t help but I find any kind of spoiler on any kind of car that is designed for roads and not race tracks overblown. I have seen the spoiler on the project 8, but that doesn‘t matter - I‘m eagerly looking forward to Monday and your next heavenly Jag ride. Actually, I‘m a lucky guy as well because today - after eight weeks of waiting - I‘m going to get my 508. They‘ve finally managed to get the car registrated. 👏
Great video Pete. I love my V6S AWD but the Project 7 is something else; a bit above my price range (thank heaven as I’d write myself off in that car), but stunning! And that exhaust....
Hi Pete just re watched your video, forget ASBOS i listened to the sound track on some bose head phones mmm def made the exhaust sound much more as you put it raucous lol. if you arn't carefull all the villages around where you live will be slapping you with restraining orders lol would love to have seen the locals expressions to the sound track. Mike has to have the nearest collection of cars that could be classified as a Pride of Jaguars? That project 7 could snap knicker elastic at 1,000 yards :-))... Awesome sound. Hmm... @9:24 you had the camera on the boot. @9:28, it's gone!!?? I'd have laughed if Mike looked out of his longe window and said, "Oh! Look! Pete's back... I didn't hear him return!" :-))... 1 down. 1 to go. Great video Pete :-))...

Another notch on the car list! Thank goodness you didn’t get caught in the rain....and now time to save up...a car for you to put in your collection for when you get,old and rich. Now that Project 8...is it any good???😃😎😎😎😎😎
It is a bold claim Pete, but I stood next to the project 7 they have at the british motor museum at Gaydon and I agree. I just wanted to jump in and quite frankly drive off in it.
What a bunch of gorgeous cars. What a noise! Definitely a tick on the “good day to drive” calendar. On a side note... I ordered a clubman JCW today does that make me a real peddler??

Sadly you can’t put pics in here. You could always use Insta or Facebook 👍
Petrol Ped Cool, just tried to upload (only recently reconnected with social media to keep in contact during Lockdown).
Love it, beautiful motor. Love that "Spinal Fin"!
Good to see you back in Jaguars. With all due respect, much more exciting than Mini's or Audi's. Just my opinion.
I agree 😜😂
Oh wow you lucky lucky barstool. The 7 looks and sounds amazing. Big hats off to Mike for allowing us into his garage. 👍👍
Very lucky and very thankful to Mike 👍
Was funny to see Mike peaking in the background after you returned! Can't blame to be happy to have it back! 😄
LOL 😂 He didn’t realise I came straight back and did a piece to camera 😂
what a sound track
so true!

Mike was generous Roger what a fantastic Peddler.! Mr Ped can drive my Mini any day
Roger Bailey Mike seems like a legend 👍🏻
He sure was. Is there any car you haven’t owned 😂
He sure is 👍
The Project7 would definitely make it into my dream garage! Such a shame Jaguar never put the 5.0L engine into the regular 2020 XF to rival the C63 and M3.
Jaguar did in the XF RS between 2013-2015!
ruclips.net/video/9-VYsqFjeUw/видео.html ... lest year supercar weekend ;-)
what are you talking about. the XFR and XFR-S had that very engine...
XF would rival the E63 and M5 though, XE rivals the C63 and M3.
Victor I mean why didn’t they put that engine in the newest face-lift XF? The best engine you can get in the current XF is a 3.0L.
Hi Pete
What a great guy letting you play with his two precious toys I must admit they look amazing them two cars looking forward to Friday now to see the project eight

The sound of that Jag is EPIC!!!! And the styling is just as nice. (The bulge behind the driver reminds me of the wing on the d type). 👍👍👍👍
Yep. That is where the inspiration came from 👍

Yes. Give it another go. The V6 is the pick of the bunch for power bs handling 👍
I had similar feelings, still a great car but I did jump in it after a 458 and the difference was very noticeable
Nice Jag, never been a big fan, but the 7 looks and sounds bloody awesome. Well done Pete looking forward to the 8. Cheers Dave from downunder 😎

Wonderful video , that Project 7 is such a special unique car especially with that homage to the D-Type , it would be interesting to compare it with a Lister LFT-666 , only 99 of those were made , it makes you wonder if any manufacturer can cover all the development costs , never mind make a profit with these kind of limited production numbers !.
That is a good point 🤔
Epic soundtrack! Not jealous at all....
Mega thing 👍
I really like that old school hump in the bodywork behind the driver. Sweet sound coming out the back. Awesome color and finish.
