- Review of mobility aids and how they can help folks with chronic illness adapt to their conditions. Wheelchairs can help save energy and reduce risk of injury. Canes can help provide balance and my favorite kan-o-seat offers a seat whenever needed. Using tools like these can help encourage independence and the ability to participate more in life. Check out the rest of my "Adapting to Chronic Illness" series for more ideas!
