They did like Guyver a bunch. When Hasbro approached Kenner back in the mid 90's about rebooting the Transformers franchise, someone at Kenner showed them Guyver specifically as an idea for what a new style of robots could look like. Hasbro really liked it, but was skeptical about how to work the more organic shapes into vehicles at the time, thus the idea for a line based on animals was born. The Guyver franchise is partially responsible the creation of Beast wars and saving Transformers from obscurity by extension.
I really love Rampage as a helicopter, hed feel more threatening as he zoomed in on you, not as a heavy bruiser but as a deadly accurate hannibal lecture from the sky
For the Primal triple changer, I can imagine you do the Gao Icarus thing, where his gorilla torso folds open to become somewhat static eagle wings. I can somewhat imagine what the overall engineering for that toy might be like, but it wouldn't look nearly as clean as the concept art.

That dragon Megatron looks a bit like BWII Galvatron due to the head design, massive drill, and (obviously) the dragon mode. Also, the dragon head reminds me of Ghidorah, but that's probably just the kaiju fan me seeing it as that.
I could see triple changing Dinobot being a thing; How I see is that he would reformated from his Dinobot 2 form which came with the additional cobra beast mode. The funny part would be that now he had a hissing lisp to go with his snarl whenever he talked.

That jellyfish concept is amazing. Imagine it having a transparent dome and fluo highlights in the core and limbs... too bad it wasn't taken past the inizial designing stage
That dragon Megatron... hot damn... Rampage's helicopter mode would have probably flipped upside-down for beast mode. Robot mode legs would flip forward and attach to the rotors for the 6-legged base of the crab. But damn, that looks cool! Fairly sure someone used that headlauncher gimmick for a custom Waspinator X'D

Amazing, weird stuff. In most cases, what made it into production felt more like actual Transformers. Fortunately there was still enough fresh and new to make Beast Wars one of the last pieces of genuinely new inspiration for the brand.
I'd agree, not just with these, but there's a lot of concept art that was never used that I've seen, I think it was TJOmega who showed us this one of a reverse pretender Cheetor where you had a regular cheetor then it came with this car, one of those muscle car pickup hybrids, and it turned into a larger body that Cheetor combines with, to say nothing of some of the concepts we've seen for say Animated season 4, or some of the movie concepts. That would be cool. We see 3rd party do a lot of the same stuff over and over, just over saturating the market on specific things, such as your G1 Optimus, your main combiners etc, it'd be interesting for them to take a look at some of these designs that never got made and see if they could turn them into real figures
I wonder if the "changing body" idea would have ended up more like Transformers Go-Bots or the Rescue Bots, where one toy is chosen as their main form but they still switch into multiple alt modes. As for the Cheetor with the larger jets...considering even more of the center of his body would have been gone I think it would have looked worse, though giving him the dragster mode would have made more sense for Cheetor. Maybe give Rattrap drills to burrow with or something.
Somebody smokin on that dark dank enegon with these ideas. The primal idea with the eagle would be awesome as a companion too merge with primal in robot mode too form backpack n wings.

Also, the McDonald's leak showed us that their black panther toy which most likely is related to the black feline Cheetor was gonna be, were inteded to be Prowl! Suddenly the head crest makes much more sense.
I can see the possibility of someone making a conversion kit for the megatron to make a dragon, plus I love the core figure gimmick they had planned for megatron
Well if you look at the Beast Wars2 from Japan you might see why they wanted a lion. Leo convoy was part of that line and the Autoboot leader for the team, he was a white lion, even had the matrix.

That dragon Megatron concept art got me thinking. There’s rumors that there’s a Leader Transmetal 2 Megatron coming in Legacy. What if they remold the Kingdom Megatron toy to turn it into what we see in that concept art? I wouldn’t complain if that happened personally.
We should find that company that made that Getter Robo figure to make toys based on these designs, since they aren't really harder to recreate than Getter Robo
All of these triple changer transformers would be utterly ridiculous and hilarious to the point that I would definitely be willing to buy these, I'd say they are definitely doable with modern tech and effort - Ox lobster is by far the most creative combination and set of design choices from all of these concepts IMHO

Also Transtech I will not acknowledge given I just generally want all of them Flytrap is pretty cool, I like him, Mantacon is also cool in concept, but Rage was the best one. Rage and Flytrap would be two I would get honestly. Also new molds from Tigatron and Cheetor her kinda too but the regular version of them is better though. Also concept art Cheetor looks more like a Lynx ngl sohe could have been yellow and kept this look just having more rounded paws and tipped ears, Yellow/Golden looking Lynx Lion version I am guessing is why Unit 3 exists from the Mcdonalds Lion Head with Cheetor being Unit 1 and Tigatron as Unit 2. To be honest, several of these do make me kind of sad and wonder just what could have been? The Beast Wars that never was... Now I want a brand new Beast Wars series just so we can go into these crazy bonkers and random ideas. Hey, I'd love to see what they could have done with more Fuzors. They never did actually fulfill the promise of more to come as teased in the commercials for the Fuzors. Unless you count Tigerhawk, but a single new Fuzor does not a group make. Oh, and TJ, I noticed the Faction Symbol crotch almost immediately for Lion Optimus Primal. ... I don't know what THAT says about me, but I can assure you that it's simply me just noticing some truly weird things. Call it my eye for detail if you will.

A minigun makes more sense as a weapon for a helicopter then one for a non tankette tank.

TM Cheetor's concept artwork straight up looked like a Zoid, maybe this was the design inspiration for Liger Zero and his many forms
