Thoughts on rocker plates? Let me know down below!

Personally I don't like it, but everybody has a different amount of movement. If your pedaling style naturally has any lateral, vertical, or fore-aft movement then a bike that's too locked in place would resist that in an uncomfortable way. So if it works, then do it.

I built my own RP. I used Easel, an on line CAD package for the design, a local shop with the CNC machine did the cuts. I made the cuts specifically for my trainer, the Saris H3.
It took a few months but it turned out well.
It's basically the same design as you covered in the video.

A must-have for training/riding indoors, the movement really makes a difference in comfort. If only doing shorter races indoors, i would recommend not having one for the sake of watts getting "soaked" up by movement.

I tried a diy rocker plate and for me it's an extra thing to maintain and deal with in addition to trying to get in a workout. The rocking movement was nice, but the benefit was marginal enough for me that it's not really worth all the extra pfaff. For me it was just another thing to think about and I gave it to a friend. I think less is more when it comes to my indoor training. I'm sure for other people it can be a game changer but I think most of us would be better off investing in a good bike fit.

Good bike fit is super important, more than anything else.

I’m rocker plate curious 😂. I like to ride indoors as well as outside. Anything that helps make the indoor riding experience better, I’m interested in trying. I have the Kickr V5 and the kickr climb. Will this work with the kickr climb?

Thanks for watching! Yup it supports the Kickr climb, and the rocker plate includes Velcro straps to secure everything

1:50 hi, care to do a video reviewing a professional bike fit you had?
What the bike fitter do? Any shims? Any stretching prescribed?
Because I had a bike fit before.
But right now I get immense perennial pressure when I my Z2 rides for more than 3 hours 30 minutes.
I also get numb/tingling hands when I am in the drops for more than 7 minutes.
But when I ride outdoors, I do not get saddle discomfort as I do with long indoor rides. The numb fingers are at a minimal.
Currently I am seriously considering in getting another pro bike fit as it’s becoming a hindrance to progress my fitness.

Every rider has different needs. The idea of getting a bike fit is simply to address areas of improvement, that neither a rocker plate nor expensive pair of bibs can resolve.
