As you all know I always post video on saturday or Sunday but today on the occassion of Independence day thought of posting on video as a bonus video. Hope you found this useful.
In this video am going to show you how to fix the compact powder or makeup without using alcohol or any other ingredient. Compact powder itself contains binder so no need to add any other ingredients to keep the powder to stick together. You just need a good amount of pressure so that the binder do its work properly. Just tried this & IT FREAKIN WORKED!!! I’m so happy, thank you! All other videos I had seen were with alcohol so the fact that this worked without alcohol is awesome!

This works so well!! I just used this method on my highlighter and it saved it so glad since I ran out of my setting spray and I have no rubbing alcohol
To be very honest, I never hoped this would work until it did. So yeah if you're worried if this might not work, don't be. It actually does. Many thanks, I was so close to giving up on my perfect compact powder to a newer one with less quality just because it was broken.

the alcohol just makes it a bit easier to work with and less dusty, is all. you use alcohol because it evaporates quickly and doesn't change the consistency of the powder.

Jayanthi Shet u need to kp on pressing until u feel u cnt press more ... or cn kp any container of tat size n press it tightly ..it will wrk

it worked till i wanted to use it. It looked good, but then I dabbed the make-up brush onto it and it all fell apart again, it crumbled up again.
Lizet Uiterwijk It gets separated if the brush bristles r nt soft as it creates d pores n loosen the compact ....try to use puff instead ... n press d compact nicly ...if u wnt to stick ur powder lik it shud nvr fall out thn u cn go for rubbing alcohol .. I think dis m8 help u 😊

Tissue paper. I just did mine and girl it works. Earlier I broke my contour palette from wet&wild and now it's brand new again.

Has anyone tried this with Mac Studio fix powder? Does it make it more easy to brake again since no alcohol was used?

I'm so glad I researched this before adding rubbing alcohol to my highlighter. I'm gonna be glittery for about a week ahaha as it was so messy, but was so anxious about ruining my highlighter with rubbing alcohol. Thanks for this video :)

I skipped the whole breaking the powder I just pressed it back in the same container gave it a shake, nothing came out, cleaned the edges & done 😂

No sweetie. I dint add anythin ... it will get spoil if u add water ....jus powder it nicely and then press it gently in the container ....more u press more nicely the compact will b fixed

ok I tried this and it 100% worked. BUT I think what the alcohol does is give it the same consistency as before it was broken. my problem with this is that now the blush has a lot of fallout when you dip your brush into it.
