London is such a beautiful bright light in this world. She is so sweet and kind. I loved hearing from her today and would love to hear from her again. She’s growing up fast but she’s growing up right!! Congrats to Mom & Dad for that. Wishing you all the best. Blessings ❤😊
Not gonna lie, i teared up a little when London was explaining the Gospel. Makes me wonder how many professing christians would be able to articulate it that well. Have her on again, love you guys!
London is such a mature young girl! She has had great teaching by her parents! Love this podcast with London! May God continue to work in her life! Love that girl!
This podcast gave me lots to ponder. Thank you for the introvert/extrovert section...I am the person who would rather be invisible in a room full of people...and who definitely thrives in those moments with my God in reflection. I appreciated the statement that I should force myself into situations with fellow believers to help me grow as a believer but also to help me help others to grow, because encouragement is one of my spiritual gifts, but I tend to use it in notes of encouragement instead of face to face encounters. The cremation topic was my deepest ponder. I tend to agree with London's statement most. What Granger said about respecting the body sounded plausible but then I got to thinking about those of us who desire to be organ donors...and I can't rationalize the two points of thought. I see organ donation as another means of service to my fellow man/woman - because my gift may keep them alive long enough for them to find my Saviour. So for me, dividing up this earthly body is not taking anything away from how precious the gift of my life is to me since I can't take it with me to Heaven. Again, thanks for the great discussion. London, you showed poise and confidence. Thank you for allowing God to speak through you today.
Absolutely beautiful episode! I have to say, the cremation bit really hit me! I never thought of it in light of respect to the body. It took me back to all of the "little screens" I've looked at with tears in my eyes seeing God's handiwork in the knitting together of my children. My third is due one month from today and we're actually going to an appointment today! This episode could not have been timed better for me! Thank you, Granger and London!
I just love this Daddy Daughter dynamic here. Just beautiful. London, you did so well answering these questions and for being an active listener. ❤❤❤God's light!
Love the podcast so profound and just so nice seeing you do one with London she's such a sweet light for the Lord love you Smith family God bless your week ❤
Early on in my relationship with my husband, I told my parents too much about our fights….well when we were getting married, my parents did not like him. I had to choose between the two. It came to my parents and I not talking about my husband. This mean no vacations with my husband to see my parents. We’ve been married 21 years and he and I have only been to my parents together 1 time. I could never tell him how my parents felt about him, but he felt it. It makes me sad, because I am close to my family.
Grainger this was the best thing that you have ever did the podcast are great keep it up man and by the way your music is good and can you make more videos of your new Chevrolet Duramax
that 1st question i can relate to...id be happy forever if i lived in the middle of nowhere and didnt have to talk to or see another person..i have very few friends, ive been burned by what were lifelong friends and its left a bad taste in my mouth, i dont have a social life, i work and do my own thing at home..i just feel like it was my destiny to be this way..
My first pod cast great answers to some tough questions. I’d like to add the I took Jesus washing his disciples feet as saying they should serve people rather than being served. Jesus as their leader humbled himself and became a servant, and he was letting his disciples know that they should do the same when he was gone they should serve rather than being served, please feel free correct me if my thinking is wrong… a quick question how many times a week do you do your podcast thank you ! For your time
I would say I’m an extroverted introvert and definitely more introverted. It’s weird for me since I like being involved in a group of some sorts with a sense of community. At the same time, I’m not the kind of guy to start a conversation to get to know people since I’m fine with being to myself.
Granger I have a 13 year old daughter that is a month short of 14, so I'm feeling them vibes when you asked her if she listened to the podcast. Lol That's me asking her and my 3 younger kids if they've heard me talking to them. 😂
Thank you for sharing this comment. I feel the same. If a family is unable to afford a traditional burial, they should not feel that cremation is “less Christian “. I believe the question was whether or not cremation was a sin.
I was thinking the same thing sometimes the loved one who passed wants to not leave their people in thousands of dollars of debt. I agree with the respect portion but where is the respect from the funerals home that rip people off.
Actually, if you’re an introvert, it’s easier to “get lost” and have less interaction in a large church. You’ll be one among many, instead of one among a few.
A private, husband, and wife relationship should be between a husband and wife. Marital issues should NEVER be shared to families/ your partners in-laws unless agreed upon mutually. This is for a marital relationship. For a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, it's really iffy. I totally understand why she wouldn't want that. Totally understand her reasoning. It's like you said, if they decide to get married then the parents are already partial against against her. Not cool
Hey my name is aleck and I was wanting to know what American state to go to. We really like tractors and wanted to know a nice town to go to. If you answer this thank you and YEEYEE.
I had to have my Daddy cremated in order to get him hone to Texas to place him next to my Mama. We could not afford to transport his body across multiple state lines. He lived in Colorado when he died and had lived in Texas for years and was there when my Mama passed. There was no way nor any place to bury him, that could afford, in Colorado. He already had a plot in Texas.
I sent a question a couple of weeks ago. Idk if yall r not current on questions or if my question is not one u want to answer or if it never made it to u
He answered mine, he could have already answered yours and you missed it? Just listen to every podcast from since you sent your email and I bet he answered. Or maybe give it a couple more weeks, mine took a little bit.
I love the podcast, but I believe saying someone at 22 or 20 is too young is unhealthy. I married 40 years ago at 19, and we have served the Lord together since. I think if your heart is God's and you feel you would better serve the Lord together, marry. It is better to marry than to burn. Voddie Baucham has some pretty profound and Biblical thoughts on this, too. Marriage for women was much younger during Biblical times, and, nowadays most colleges do more harm than good. As far as the fighting, it does sound like they need to focus on God and not themselves. Our lives are not about us, but Him. That is what we need to get right. Not college. Not a house. Not a bank account. A true relationship with Him and with which we go about making disciples.
Granger, Jesus did give authority to the apostles, yes, but the proof -text is not the verse you used. When Jesus said, "upon this rock I will build my church" He was saying upon theis confession I will build my church. I offer this humbly.
London is incredibly smart for her age, im 21 and the things she has said taught me something i myself as an adult ddnt even think about
OMG! London is getting so grown up!! How did this happen? 😂❤ A beautiful young lady, on the inside and out. 💜💖💜

Wow I didn't know me and your daughter where born the same year!

Let’s go!! 🤠☕️
More London
I think cremation has become more "popular" is because the cost of burial and all that goes with it causes a huge burden on families. 😢
Thank you for sharing this comment. I feel the same. If a family is unable to afford a traditional burial, they should not feel that cremation is “less Christian “. I believe the question was whether or not cremation was a sin.

YOU HAVE MY NOSE

YEE YEE !
Heck no. Us introverts want a large church where we can blend in the background. Lol
True. Not necessarily best for us, but is it how our brains work.
❤

London... So young in age but so wise beyond her age. She reflects Jesus

I sent a question a couple of weeks ago. Idk if yall r not current on questions or if my question is not one u want to answer or if it never made it to u
They get a ton of questions sent in, so the chances of one making it to an episode are pretty small.
He answered mine, he could have already answered yours and you missed it? Just listen to every podcast from since you sent your email and I bet he answered. Or maybe give it a couple more weeks, mine took a little bit.

John 3 : 16.... Love you Jesus
Definitely NOT the first guest to yawn on the podcast. 😂
Hey, I just sent you an email. Make sure to check that out!!
I would break up because both of you are still not mature enough to be in a relationship.
