Yo! I left a comment almost a few months back when i started school, clinicals starts monday! The video hits different when i came back to it. Im at CLC.
The pay isn't low if you refuse to take it. They will always offer less, but if you stand your ground you will get more. The company I work for has 6 MRI tech openings. And there are dozens of openings in this general area (South Florida). We have several students. I love training new people. I have been an MRI tech since 2003. GE, Siemens, and a couple outliers here and there. Most places have tech assistants or MA's to do the IV's and paperwork nowadays and it's making the actual scanning a bit easier, although much faster than when I started. The workload can be crazy.
Can you share how your school life balance was with your kids? I start MRI school with WCUI this July and I’m struggling to figure out my family care plan for two babies. Thanks bro
Hi, I am a second year rad student. Planning to go for an MRI certification after I graduate. I am doing a presentation on MRI, part of it is talking about any recent breakthroughs in MRI. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
@@MRIMan thanks bro! Was wondering also how long did it take to find a good paying job after the school? Heard you start just in the 30’s when you graduate
Bro im freaking out and overwhelmed because I still dont know how to properly use the mri simulator my school is giving us. And i still dont understand any terminology used in MRI. I’m somewhat passing my program but im just freaking out rn. Tbh, my main concern is just how to use the simulator and wanna have a step-by-step basis so it becomes repetitive for me
MRI Physics, not traditional mechanical physics. The great majority of the ARMRIT and ARRT is composed of questions regarding or involving MRI Physics@@davidb9477
he's still fairly 'young' in MRI years. It takes 10 plus years to really dive in and be an expert.. and even then there are lots of things to learn. If you learn every exam in a facility, it's time to move on and learn something new. There are so many kinds of MRI machines and each one is worth learning. Get a basic one like GE, Siemens or Phillips and you can learn any of the others easily. I have been doing it for 20+ years and see new things every day.
@@jacktv2109 His first video dated 6 years ago says he has been a tech for a year at that time so I assume 7 years by now. Enough time to have some decent experience scanning.
“The Nate Diaz of couches” bro I’m dead
🤣
I couldn’t help but to laugh so hard when you said “her foot, it was like a tree branch”
great videos and information!
Thank you!

Was there a lot of physics on the ARRT ?
Not at all

you need to reach out to your teacher. Its their responsibility to show you how to use it.
I have a spine MRI next week, can I hum in there? Does slightly vibrating vocal chords without moving your lips affect a brain MRI?
Yes u can
How much math or physics do you actually do in mri once you get a job?
where you getting physics from I look at my program catalog and I see 0 physics

Hi, how long have you worked as an MRI tech? Do you still enjoy your job?
Does it get boring or does it stay interesting!? Thanks!
Scanned a baby with 6 toes and 6 fingers. Something new every day never boring at the hospital

Why wasn’t that dying foot wrapped up somewhere else in the hospital before entering the MRI room?
Your telling me
