Im almost 100% certain that u getting insiider help at copart. Im a carcdealer and theres nonway in hell. That the key suddenly is found in the ashtray. Thats the first place everyone looks for the key or underseat. I do it on a weekly basis

I don't know what everyone else thinks but I'd love to see a series on the x5 where you take the x5 to AAR headquarters and completely bring it back to the way it came from the factory, then surprise Jessica with it. Just my 2 cents.

On my 2007, it was the 30si which indicated the sport model. No turbo, but a little different suspension setup. You may have some added features on your spec, I had the base, so nothing really side from different suspension components (not electronic) Your leak may also be the valvetronic motor gasket. I thought I had a cover leak on mine, but it turned to only be the valvetronic motor. 30 minutes and you're done, if that. (I've got a video on that) - Get your MyCarly out and you'll have a bunch of options you can switch, but you already knew that :) If you haven't figured it out, you had issues going into drive because the shifter was knocked left into auto-stick mode. Knock it back to the right for a regular automatic, which is where you shift to P/R/D.
Si is 2wd. Xi is 4wd. Correct?

I bought a Boxster earlier this year from auction, listed as no key, no start but was a repo so I thought, makes sense there's no key. Went through all the trouble to replace ecu, electronic steering lock, security module, door lock... Lots of hassle... Before trying to start for the first time thought I'd give the gas a sniff test to see if it was ok.... Opened the gas flap.... There's the key!
O man that's shity! I bought older Ranger years ago for $500 the body was immaculate... nobody could get it to run right after a couple computers and other crap the owner gave up. Took it to my friends house shop we put it up on a lift he found a hanging wire that was rubbing when you hit a bump fixed that in 5 minutes he bought the truck from me hes been driving it for 4 years no issues
@@frankm8533 I "think" the title company's workshop did it deliberately. The accessory drive belt was shredded and the water pump pulley was also toast so probably thought it better that people didn't try starting it. It was evident that people had been trying to work on/inspect things, parts and covers removed etc. I don't mind. It's been a great project and while there's still some cosmetic work to do it's a fantastic driver now
@@juliank911 That awsome. I like doing stuff like that my self. I just picked up another Ranger it runs but needs the fuel system flushed out 'old gas' paint is covered in green moss from sitting under a tree no rust anywhere, needs tires, paint correction and full detail its a 5spd extra cab 1992
Finally a German car,will look great with polished headlights a good wash,interior detail.
Runs great except for the valve cover gasket.

Looked it up. SI stands for sport. Means you get 260 hp from the N52 engine, as opposed to 230 hp in the XI

Excited for the X5, I own an E53 and it's very solid. 3.0i rocks.
Very excited for Jessica on the X5. The trunk release on the Civic is on the driver side door below the window switches. It is easy to miss because it is near the storage cubby. The wifey has a 2020 Civic and we love it!

$1700 buy it now (2000 with auction fees) i would have that in my driveway yesterday. I have worked on bmws for a decade, they do not concern me like they would others. long as the engine runs, and transmission shifts i would gamble that in a heartbeat. however....know this....just about ALL bmws, especially this era, will require $1500-2500 in PARTS in your first year....you must ASSUME parts for leaks, cooling system overhaul including water pump, all hoses, radiator and expansion tank, and control arm parts. Considering that interior is actually looking in really good condition that really does give me confidence that it was taken decently taken care of (no guarantee but in vegas thats a huge indicator of the type of owner of lux cars here) im hoping that transmission is good. if it IS a 6HP model transmission, you can use MOTORCRAFT branded fluid from a FORD F250-350 super duty that uses the ZF 6HP transmission (2006-2008 iirc) and it works. i have used that fluid myself, if you research the difference between their fluid and ZF lifeguard 6 fluid, the MSDS sheets are identical, and both manufactured by shell in texas. $7 bucks a quart vs $20 per ltr for ZF fluid.....

It's not weird nor confusing. If you can read and understand basic guidelines, it's extremely easy to use. The reason it wasn't working for Randy was because it was knocked into the manual/sport mode hence the reason it wouldn't shift into drive or reverse.
@@XuleGua The old Park, Reverse, Neutral, Drive, 1, 2, 3. That was simpler. Even a Malibu shifter looks simple. Less complication.

I had a Cadillac Seville that had self changing oil. A quart per day. Oil pan gasket.
I had a 2015 nissan versa plus..It was a super awesome,reliable car! I sold it to an uber driver. Apparently the nicer car that an uber driver has the more higher paying clientel you can pick up& drive around. I did'nt know that!

They say there's a setting for cash vs credit card sale, the fees are drastically different, may want to check which you have yours set for... if you are paying out of your account it should be same as cash!
That Pontiac G6 would clean out very nice never had one but I always thought they were kind of unique

I have had the 2010 4.8 for a few years now. The transmission fluid needed changing but it runs awesome. Very comfortable.
Now the BMW key has been found and the car runs fine no matter what you could make a profit on that car and it has minimal damage, it looked really good and I look forward to seeing it on the channel
To check oil it has to be at operating temp. Go to menu, go to vehicle status go to check oil and watch screen. Oh yeah, press the IDrive knob to initiate.
That air suspension inactive warning comes up because the battery was flat all you need is to turn the steering lock to lock and it will go away

That is a N52K or N52N engine Randy . That Triangle with exclamation is a warning (like what you got on the idrive ) or an overdue service .

Also, stay away from the Range Rover. It has the BMW engine that always breaks. IIRC it is notorious for popping head gaskets.
I would buy the range rover it would make good content that's a year when BMW owned the range rover. and those you have to do a wheel-to-wheel lock with the steering wheel to rest the air suspension. when the battery goes dead. and that's common for those to make that engine noise.

Randy the shifter in th x5 sometimes it gets slid into the sport mode witch is to the left on the shifter if it is in the sport setting it will just got forward and backward just grab the shifter slide it to the right to get back to normal shifting from p, r, and drive just for future reference my 535 is the same way and I thought my shifter was broken but one you play with it you get used to it

Run from that Rover, Randy. That's a BMW V8 engine and its nothing but nightmares with the timing chain tensioner, valve cover gasket leaks, head gaskets and all that junk...
