@@DimePlats I've never seen a let's player kill Undyne on neutral route, what was your reaction? and when did you figure out the game doesn't want you to kill monsters?(when Toriel told you, when Flowey tauntd you for killing her, when you spared Papyrus (I saw you almost killed him in the video), when you killed Undyne, when you killed Muffet, when you killed Mettaton (I'm assuming you killed him based on how you played the game before his fight), when Sans told you, when you had to choose between killing and sparing Asgore, the final phone calls, some other moment?)
@@laytonjr6601 well I did because I wanted to and I still got the platinum trophy so in the end does it matter if I killed him or not? The game is clearly about choice. I chose my route you chose yours. Why does everything have to be (YOU HAVE TO DO IT THIS WAY) Just enjoy the game how you want to. Much love❤️
Playing an actual neutral run isn't missing the point of the story. Undertale is literally all about your choice. There's a reason the game is full of little dialogue branches based on kills you've done throughout the story. There's a reason you're given the option to spare, while also being given an option to kill. To make a choice. Just dismissing all of that to say there's only one real way to play is just dismissing all the effort Toby put in to making the story. In fact, I'd personally argue that Sans' talk about LOVE and EXP hits harder in a neutral run than a pacifist run. It certainly made me rethink the actions I took throughout the game, whereas I feel like if I knew the "correct" way was only pacifism, it wouldn't mean anything to me.
I've seen so much stuff about Undertale but never played, may have to check it out at some point

Game is trying so hard to tell you to please stop killing the innocent monsters but some ppl don't seem to care I guess 😞😞😞😞
