23:58 On the genocide route, if you listen to Muffet instead of instantly murdering her, you will find that she actually doomed the underground by refusing to evacuate (she even regrets not eating Alphys when she came to warn her)
I may be misremembering, but I think at the start with Flowey, going directly into the left corner is actually marginally slower than waiting just a split second because of the speed difference of the bullets when you start around the edge. That might not be real, but I do think I remember that being fastest for me.
I watched this video thinking "maybe I'll get some tips for Undyne" and then you just did the fight perfectly and I guess I just have to fight her for another 6 hours so I can be as good as you are.

oh boy, the faster genocide speedruns are actually the most evil way to play undertale because they're pretty much the "i killed everyone except jerry" run
I've been practicing geno speedrun and my least favorite thing ever is fighting madjick (the magician guy), especially on warriors path because he basically is basically the final skill check of the run and it is so punishing if you don't hit the perfect quad.
@@Yusei970 Isn't a speedrun of life an abortion? Or is that just that option in the menu where you can see the credits without actually beating the game.
Thank you for making this video I actually unlike most people in this comment enjoy how you showed incredibly relaxed attitude while taking down each and every single one of them one by one and be like “yeah I just don’t care” LOL. Not everyone love the designs -- if you want your characters to not be killed, don’t give the players the option to kill them in the first place. Instead give them two choices, NOT giving a single hint on what’s gonna happen if you mistakenly hit like ONE kill, and then the entire game basically mocks you for your “hypocrisy”. Dude. I came to play a game to relax, not to be or mocked or humiliated or insulted. Especially when you spent all those times dodging these terribly hard attacks, reaching the end, and desperately found out it’s basically impossible to clear the game because not everyone has the patience nor skills to beat Sans. Aaaaaand congratulations you just wasted hours of your life and need to delete this game entirely and start over again. Listen, not everyone is a grinder; some of us just wanna enjoy the journey. So hey, next time you wanna test humanity, the advice is don’t do so in the first place. Especially NOT in games. Games are for fun. Real life is already hard enough. Geez.
....could literally go play any other RPG? Like, the whole reason UT was groundbreaking was because of the spare system and the plot. There's no RIGHT way to play the game, and that includes the plot 🤣
1:03 I do not know if its true, but I have the impression that when we attack the dummy we do not need do make a perfect attack to kill the 1st froggit
One thing that I should mention: I was wondering why he switched from the burnt pan to not get more healing, but given his route, he only would have gotten 1 extra HP from it. Another thing is that I believe this is the first version of undertale, the exploit he does in the sans fight is (last I checked) patched out
When I did my first attempt at the Genocide route, I'm not lying when I say this, I QUIT. After I had to kill Papyrus. The worst part was even after I did so he still believed in us. What a guy...
Dude this run is so hilarious as to calling out anyone who plays rpgs...puts in perspective I had so many flashbacks of other rpgs I've played it was very specific as to how you feel in the grind and all that
Bro passed through the Undyne fight practically with his eyes closed and defeated Sans, a enemy I still haven't killed after 100th attempt like he was a paraplegic child
It took me a solid 2 hours of attempts. To my mind it's the best fight in the game, thematically, because it's actually a reasonable fight. If you're just good at the game, you can win on your first try. 100% skill, it's just hard. Sans isn't hard, it's just a matter of repetition. He cheats. No matter how good you are, you will not win the first time, because he cheats. But once you know the pattern, he's no big deal. And that fits the narrative so well... this is Undyne's dream, to be the anime hero that saves the world from the ultimate evil. She wants to win a fair fight, and she's the best chance the monsters have at doing that. Sans isn't like that. He's a bitter revenant whose only goal is revenge. By all means necessary.
i have no idea how this guy can just kill toriel without feeling any remorse, i’m pretty sure i’m on the neutral rought right now and on the meta ton boss fight, and i’m still super sad because back when i killed toriel, i thought i had to, but then i looked it up, and figured out i could have spared her
You still could but you are farther in the game so why not finish it? You have to finish neutral to do true pacifist anyways, tho it would be faster to not kill anyone because you wouldnt have to replay the entire game, i recommend you just finish your ending tho, neutral routes have A LOT of different endings
@@bigbossthe7thI am fighting Sans right now too. Tho I suck and died like 10 times to regural attacks. I get now good sleep and tomorrow he will die! 😈
God, I'm only reading through this comment section because I'm trying to muster the courage to do a genocide run. I feel horrible about it even though I'm only in the Ruins right now, which really shows just well this game is written.
the undyne attack which you find really hard has a pretty simple pattern. kinda just go up and then theres this path that forms in between the arrows and it just goes around in circles and its pretty easy from there.
Huh. Didn't know you could do a genocide route without killing everybody I think one of the most heartbreaking kills in the game has to be when you get the two knights to confess their love for one another, and then you kill one of them and the other one is just... lost without them
What Chara, and also Flowey before you threaten him, want is you to do the true pacifist route (and chara also wants ur soul as punishment of thinking you're above consequences), flowey wants that so monsters know how evil humans actually are, and that the world is kill or be killed, and chara wants that so they can eliminate absolutely everyone, monsters and humans alike, but i think Chara thought all of this after killing you So if you really want suffering, you would not erase it, you instead would break the barrier so you can cause suffering for both humans and monsters
You don't heal during Undyne to save time, I don't heal during a Genocide run to spite the characters that tormented me during my first ever play through. We are not the same

Undertale is litteraly my favorite Indie-game. I've played it too many times. To see that EasySpeezy is speedrunning it, I'm invested.
Same, I love it. Papyrus is my favorite.
I hope we get to see him in Deltarune eventually. T-T

I recommend playing Celeste if you haven’t already, it’s an absolutely incredible indie game too!
@@Jack_O_Lantern Bruh that and Undertale are seriously goated. Now everyone knows that these two and hollow knight and other games like that are among the greatest there have ever been.
But I really recommend you play the messenger. Its a little less popular but I bet you all will love it.
Wait, I just realized that when you are doing the other routes, when you get attacked, you get a (!) speech from frisk, but in genocide, Frisk smiles when attacked
i love during the snowdin dog fights he just gets mad at everything like "why cant it eve be me?"

I definitely don't have the willpower to do a genocide run. Thanks for posting this, I learnt tons about the route and the boss fights, will use it in the future if I ever feel cruel enough to do a genocide.
do not take the last sentence out of context

I’m doing genocide right now and it’s so sad, I’m to attached to these fictional characters lol
I know you diz, youve already planned to commit genocide anyway!
Have you done it yet?
The Undyne boss fight really got me... She was the only monster who has determination.
undertale is a bedtime story, the first song is called once apon a time, and the last is called goodnight

No way, I’ve been waiting for this! Thanks! Keep up the good work!
God i loved it when he said "it's murderin' time" and started murderin' all over the place
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂so funy
Truly a murderin' moment
I love that Ben is just B. Fittingly fast for the speedrun but still reminiscing Bens name.
_but nobody came._ = stop, you're turning into a *real* monster.
Most characters when they get revived: I was blessed by a god, sent back to earth to destroy evil.
Undyne: *I DON’T FEEL LIKE DYING TODAY MUTHERFLUFFER*
I finally did a genocide run for the first time a few weeks ago. I took a couple year break after the pacifist run because I didn’t want to kill anyone 😂
11:45
I'm not sure when, but at some point during pacifist Undyne says "If that grass wasnt in the way, I wouldve killed you."
If you call her and papyrus in that room
"If it weren't for that grass, I'd have kicked your. . ."
"Uh, if not for that grooty, I'd have kicked your booty."
EazySpeezy: Undertale Genocide speedruns are incredibly dark!
All Undertale players: No fucking shit!
fun fact: the easiest way to survive every snowdrake or chilldrake attack is to stay in the bottom left corner, his attacks don't reach that corner. works every time
Cool thanks
23:58 On the genocide route, if you listen to Muffet instead of instantly murdering her, you will find that she actually doomed the underground by refusing to evacuate (she even regrets not eating Alphys when she came to warn her)
More games need evil ending style quests like this.
Genocide route is basically the “scared lost child defeats kidnapper, attempted murderers and child murderers” route
and tries to kill other child as well as seeking out fights.
I may be misremembering, but I think at the start with Flowey, going directly into the left corner is actually marginally slower than waiting just a split second because of the speed difference of the bullets when you start around the edge. That might not be real, but I do think I remember that being fastest for me.
This man wasn't practising this speedrun for the fights, he practised for the PERFECT Frisk Dance.
TIP FOR ANY SPEEDRUNNERS
You don’t have to talk to torial, just go to sleep and then go downstairs and you’re all set for her fight
Yoooo I remember seeing the True Pacifist run back in 2021 I’m glad to see this game return🔥
Nice dude, I remember it back in 2016-17!
It's truly great that it's back in action
Just a moment here to appreciate the (not so healthily) entertaining dedication you have 💙💪 I feel like you don't get enough credit for this
Him calling half these attacks "not too bad" is so sad because the amount of them I die to every playthrough
I watched this video thinking "maybe I'll get some tips for Undyne" and then you just did the fight perfectly and I guess I just have to fight her for another 6 hours so I can be as good as you are.
Hey, my first time fighting her I kept pressing challenge (I wanted to do pacifist for my first run) and it's actually a good way to learn, q sink or swim.
Edit: I was not aware of the undyne the undying fight

Just wanted to comment that you do an amazing job commentating these videos. I could look away from the screen and look back later, still understanding what’s happening.
Undyne: *giving a talk about how frisk is going to get killed bc of it's acts*

oh boy, the faster genocide speedruns are actually the most evil way to play undertale because they're pretty much the "i killed everyone except jerry" run

I've been practicing geno speedrun and my least favorite thing ever is fighting madjick (the magician guy), especially on warriors path because he basically is basically the final skill check of the run and it is so punishing if you don't hit the perfect quad.
You can skip all CORE monsters (including Madjick) if you kill all 40 Hotland monsters before entering the CORE
@@phil-bean I mean u can do that but grinding kills in core is more optimal u kill at least 5 monsters in hotland and the other 35 in core
nothing stops this guy from going fast

“With a nice bird on our head.”

Can’t disagree with the title
I could never get past Undyne in genocide. I just am really bad at blocking the attacks when you are stuck in the little box.
@@dontmisunderstand6041No. Sans's goal is to make you reset. He knows you can reset. But can't remember it. Aside from that mistake, love your take.
i have no idea how this guy can just kill toriel without feeling any remorse, i’m pretty sure i’m on the neutral rought right now and on the meta ton boss fight, and i’m still super sad because back when i killed toriel, i thought i had to, but then i looked it up, and figured out i could have spared her
You still could but you are farther in the game so why not finish it? You have to finish neutral to do true pacifist anyways, tho it would be faster to not kill anyone because you wouldnt have to replay the entire game, i recommend you just finish your ending tho, neutral routes have A LOT of different endings
@@mariotheundying yeah i finished like 2 months ago, also finished true pacifist, and rn i’m on genocide fighting sans lol

Man this psychological indie era was great. Undertale, DDLC, Omori. Genuinely fantastic writing in these games
BRO DID NOT STOP THE SPEEDRUN FOR TEMMIE 😭😭
the undyne attack which you find really hard has a pretty simple pattern. kinda just go up and then theres this path that forms in between the arrows and it just goes around in circles and its pretty easy from there.
"my finger slip and instead of hugging papyurs i killed him" GOT ME ASCENDING
Huh. Didn't know you could do a genocide route without killing everybody
I think one of the most heartbreaking kills in the game has to be when you get the two knights to confess their love for one another, and then you kill one of them and the other one is just... lost without them

8:29 fun fact: here sometimes you can have a snow pile or a tobdog on your head!
Missed opportunity to name the video “I speedran genoside”
“Good run” - people who haven’t watched the video
Y'know, thinking about it, wouldn't it be better to not erase the world? Leaves more suffering behind y'know.
What Chara, and also Flowey before you threaten him, want is you to do the true pacifist route (and chara also wants ur soul as punishment of thinking you're above consequences), flowey wants that so monsters know how evil humans actually are, and that the world is kill or be killed, and chara wants that so they can eliminate absolutely everyone, monsters and humans alike, but i think Chara thought all of this after killing you
So if you really want suffering, you would not erase it, you instead would break the barrier so you can cause suffering for both humans and monsters
You don't heal during Undyne to save time, I don't heal during a Genocide run to spite the characters that tormented me during my first ever play through. We are not the same
“kind of sad to see that happen, but you know it is what it is”
*literally 31 minutes later eliminates all monsters in the underground*
You know you don't need to save in order to be filled with DETERMINATION, right? You can say 'no' to the save screen and still restore your health.
