This habu has a Chinese controllers that decides to shut down mid flight causing your jet to crash and then horizen makes money off theyre malfunctioning controllers by blaming the user and not the cheaply made Chinese product

Curious, I'm a solid intermediate flyer for many years with RC 4S prop taildragger and tri-gear planes like the E-flight 4S Commander 1.4m and the 4S T-28 Trojan 1.2m. I want to get into EDF, but I think the E-flight Viper 70mm might be a little too much. To step up a little, would you suggest 6S Habu SS 70mm be a good 1st EDF?

Yes! The Habu SS (Super Sport) 50mm and 70mm models are perfect first EDF models for pilots with some experience (compared to this Habu STS -- Smart Trainer with SAFE -- that is also suitable for new pilots with no experience!). We'd suggest going with the 70mm model and 6S 3200-4000mAh batteries, then you can use those same batteries in the Viper 70mm after you have more experience flying the Habu: www.horizonhobby.com/search?q=Habu+SS&search-button=&lang=default&srule=price-high-to-low&sz=24

Is this weigh less than 2kg with 4s battery?

Yes! The flying weight without battery is 46.4oz (1316g) and our recommended 4S 4000mAh 30C battery ( www.horizonhobby.com/product/14.8v-4000mah-4s-30c-smart-lipo-battery-ic3/SPMX40004S30.html ) weighs 13.2oz (375g).
