  • Temporary immersion bioreactors are used to grow plants faster than traditional tissue culture. In this series of videoes, we are experimenting using different plants to observe which ones are better to grow in temporary immersion bioreactors or traditional tissue culture.
    We are Plant Cell Technology. We create innovative solutions for commercial and research plant tissue culture laboratories and growers.

    Hi Francisco, could you please explain with more details the connection of the solenoid in the system? Thanks

  • @danieljheelan5256

    Hi Francisco,
    Here you have only one solenoid valve.
    When it activated and with what pump.
    Also, why there are three inputs/outputs and not only 2.

    Hi my friend! I am new to following your videos and I think that you are excellent I like your professionalism. I have a request and I’m hoping you can help. In California Cannabis is legal. It would be great if you could go over a solution for growing the stems and leaves. And also a solution for growing the roots. This would be nice when you have limited space for making clones from mothers. The other option is possibly doing the video as hemp it seems that the mixtures are the same. I have to mixing designs and would be happy to send them to you if you’d like to do the video.

      I'll make a video on Cannabis/hemp tissue culture in the future. It will take a while as it is not legal in Tennessee, and the permits to grow hemp may also take some time.

      TC plants don't require a lot of light. I'm using cheap LED shop lights from Amazon. 20 Watts, 2,200l lm, 6500 K. www.amazon.com/Barrina-Integrated-Fixture-Utility-Electric/dp/B07DNPL2VC/ref=sxts_sxwds-bia-wc-nc-drs1_0?crid=JT6G94GLYJ6M&cv_ct_cx=barrina+led+shop+light&dchild=1&keywords=barrina+led+shop+light&pd_rd_i=B07DNPL2VC&pd_rd_r=d1c1b2b1-1c46-4159-9055-5017881ee3e7&pd_rd_w=gReaX&pd_rd_wg=UpUbh&pf_rd_p=a64002b9-9c26-4361-b8a1-b0f5a4835670&pf_rd_r=JAJ760YXDVS24VQ590QV&psc=1&qid=1609779334&sprefix=barrina%2Caps%2C200&sr=1-1-38d0a374-3318-4625-ad92-b6761a63ecf6

      We don't have the traditional bioreactor systems, however, we do have the simplest temporary immersion bioreactor )Biocoupler) used at the multiplication and rooting stage of tissue culture. If interested, learn more about its features and price here: www.plantcelltechnology.com/pct-store/

      TIB is mainly used for the multiplication of plants. So, you can establish it in tissue culture and multiply them in hundreds and thousands in the TIB system.

It's the simplest TIB, taking less space in your lab, and is simple to operate. @@PlantCellTechnologyI’m certainly considering it. I just need to gather more information first. I need to better understand how they work, so I’m in information collecting phase! I am only in the lab 3 days a week, so I guess I’m a little concerned about the manual nature of the biocoupler and if the explants suffer or dry out with too much time. But like I said, I still have much to learn how these really work.

    What does a Bio Reactor do?

    • @PlantCellTechnology
      @PlantCellTechnology  3 года назад +1

      A bio reactor is a key component of tissue culture, supporting the growth of plants in its environment.

    • @PlantCellTechnology
      @PlantCellTechnology  3 года назад

      Most plants grow faster in a temporary immersion bioreactor than in traditional tissue culture. Up to 10x faster with some plants. Also, plants in temporary immersion bioreactors are easier to acclimate to soil as then are constantly breathing due to the oxygen exchange.
