Love the research to make the folding chair more effective... try try again !
I love the idea of using a folding chair as a weapon or shield. brilliant.
Thank you for watching. Glad you got value out of the video!
Thank you for doing this! You've inspired me with my own journey. Peace and Blessings to you!
+Fred Jaravata Thanks for your support! 👊

+Live2win Uncle E. THANK YOU !!!
Thank you for this episode. So refreshing to listen to wonderful martial artists like Burton and his life experience...very inspiring.
Awesome video Ford Sensei. The chair as a shield made me think of a real world application of the Okinawan Tinbei.
+slickx82 Yes!
Great episode
🙏
Great video, it's fun and enlightening to see interviews with instructors I used to read about in Black Belt magazine throughout the 80s. The chair idea is fantastic and something I will have to explore. In regards to the wrestling 2 on 1 or Russian tie, I have always found it to be a secure transition rather than a static position. I like to use it for a quick takedown before the knife switches hands. Being that every circumstance is unique, I can understand the reluctance to stay in that position. Anyway, thanks for the great series.
Thank you!!!
This is a great series idea. It will be yuge
"disappointment builds character"
🙂.
❤️🙏🏽👊🏽
Burton Richardson is a talented teacher. That being said, a couple constructive observations: in JKD, the title is Sifu, not Guro. Also, JKD is primarily concerned with unarmed combat, but the seminar footage was mostly armed Kali techniques. Finally, the interview focused on BJJ, Kali, and Silat, not JKD.
Do you have plans to interview grandmaster Robert Redfeather? And guro Daniel Inosanto?
Robert Redfeather is a friend and an interview with him is quite possible. I'd love to interview Guro Dan, if he’d be willing.
Dan visits the Western Canada Martial Arts Academy in Calgary Alberta once a year.. He is quite approachable.
Would you pls. feature Grandmaster Al Dacascos & his art of Wun Hop Kuen Do? Tnx🙏😊
I have never met Grandmaster Dacascos but will ask his son Mark Dacascos for an introduction if possible. Thank you. 👊
@@SenseiFord Tnx Sir/Ma'am more power & success 🙏

Sounds like Mr Robinson’s Neighborhood if Mr Robinson was likely to break your arm and disembowel you with a bolo knife 😳
+Robert Morrow 😳😉
From the Machidas and their coach to Bullshido 😱
Nice guy but very loquacious
Seems a little sloppy.
Thank you for watching and for your comment. Appreciate it!
It seems more misrepresentation of JKD (too bad Lee did not trademark the name) of what JKD is.
